Brilliant and humorous

On Campus In Oregon: Male, Female Or Other, Can I Check All Three?
Next fall, my university will follow the lead of other schools by adding an 'other' category to the gender section of admissions forms so that "students will now be able to express exactly who they think they are." In short, unfortunate delusions are to be treated as perfectly acceptable.

If I approached the director of the student government's Queer Affairs Task Force and I claimed to be an eggplant trapped in a man's body, she would smile, nod politely (she is a nice person), and then call for friendly people in white coats to haul me off to a padded cell. But if I claimed to be a woman trapped in a man's body, she would force others to act as if my view were correct. In short, psychosis is considered quite alright, provided it obliterates sexual norms, traditions, and taboos. Forget fluoride, we need thorazine in the local water supply.

Believing in the modern liberal view of sex must require at least an hour of practice each day. How else can they believe, for example, that masculinity and femininity are social constructs with no relation to the biological differences between the sexes, while also holding that homosexuality is inherent? Or that gender is unimportant, except when someone insists that he or she is stuck in a body of the wrong gender?

OK, our colleges are producing at least a few bright students. One of whom wrote this editorial!

Daniel, don't you know that Testosterone is all part of the Vast-Right-Wing Conspiracy, meant to keep women down? It's sprayed on crops and injected into beef. That's why the only way to escape these evil gender-roles is to eat organic. Only then can you truly be free.

“It’s very progressive,” said Angi Baxter, Queer Affairs Task Force director.

Hey, ain't that how they sold the tram?

This kind of thing creates a huge delema for those of us considering getting a college education.
Why should we have to toss out our moral and religious convictions to get an education?
Why do we have to accept those that should be in the menatal hospital as "normal" and become like them to get an education?

Hetero -- None of what you fear is worth fearing. No university will require that you toss out your moral and religious convictions to get an education. You can believe whatever the fuck you want to believe about your fellow students; you don't even have to like them...or, there are a number of conservative colleges...Nonetheless, the point is not to let your morals get in the way of getting an education.

Lucky for me, the woman trapped inside my body also realized that it had a man trapped inside of her body, so everything turned out alright. Whew. I got off lucky there, I think.

LOL @ Vonski

*Phew* I'm glad to learn that someone other than myself has that condition!
Maybe we should form a support group?

The first meeting of WWASIMBWMSITB(Women Who Are Stuck In Mens Bodies With Men Stuck Inside Their Bodies) will now come to order. Now, who's in charge of bringing the beer and the finger sandwiches?

Speaking of college...Daniel, what ever happened with your "Academic Study"? Did the Atkinson flyer ever get destroyed? I haven't seen an update.

I sometimes wonder if you realize how much of a love you emit for disproportionate stereotyping. In the name of everything holy... "the modern liberal view of sex." Have gratitude toward the number of people who truly believe sex is a "social construct" for being as low as it is.

It would be nice if students at OSU would create a task force to fight against those faggots who are pushing their extreme and insane views on other students. Are there any groups already on the OSU campus that actively oppose these policies? Is anyone holding the school administration accountable? I can see where this is all heading in the future. Eventually if we allow those of a "progressive" viewpoint to have their way, we will see these same extreme views imposed on government and then eventually the private sector.

actual event from class today (name changed to avoid lawsuit):

Professor: ... and on to problem one, let's call on Bob Smith. Mr. Smith, what is the answer?

Bob Smith: Actually, I am a woman.

I shit you not. I was actually glad, as I had been wondering which camp "Bob" fell into for some time...
