Do I still have to stop at red lights?

To my readers who apologize for illegal aliens:

I need a list of all our current laws that can be ignored. Obviously we have:

1. immigration laws
2. labor laws
3. perjury laws
4. id theft/false use of a SSN

But what else is on the table? Is there a specific set of criteria that needs to be met in order to determine which laws we can ignore? Please help me understand.

NOTE: Would good immigrant supporting folks such as these have to follow any laws? (scroll down on that link)

The comissar does not approve

"Regardless of its message, a sign on a rooftop in a residential area is prohibited," said Art Pearce with the City of Portland.
The city said it plans to send code enforcement officers out to take a look this week.
Anyone else think that "code enforcement officers" might not be dispatched if the sign said "F*** the war"?
How did America become the country where the local government has the power to disallow signs on your own property?
Oregon:
live sex acts = free speech
signs = violation of "city code"

Random musing in advance of "May Day"

When conservatives look at the American flag they see the symbol of a great country, when liberals look at the American flag... they look for lighter fluid and matches.

We need some disclosure

Companies try to comply with medical marijuana law
On a typical weekday, stockbroker Irvin Rosenfeld has a marijuana cigarette before work, then goes to his firm's smoking area for another after he gets to the office. By day's end, he usually has smoked more than a half-dozen joints -- and handled millions of dollars' in clients' holdings.

There's nothing illegal about it. Rosenfeld, 54, of Fort Lauderdale, has a condition that causes benign tumors in the long bones of his body. After trying to control pain by taking narcotics such as Dilaudid, he persuaded the U.S. government to put him in a test program that gives marijuana to people with certain illnesses. His pain is now manageable, he says.

This guy lives in Florida but the news story talks about Oregon as well. When did we become such a backwards society where these people aren't shunned? This man should be mocked and ridiculed at his work until he quits.

Granted he probably has no sense of shame so the quiting thing might not work but he should be ostracized and his clients should be made aware of his drug use.

Celebrate by going home

I was at the liquor store today and noticed that the displays were very tequila oriented. That's when I realized that Cinco de Crapo is coming again.

I hope that before you make that purchase of Jose Quervo or Cornona you think twice, we have enough in this country that is "hencho de Mexico" and they are already sending enough dollars down south, we don't need to be buying the products made in that corrupt country that actively encourages the invasion of the United States.

Boycott Cinco de Crapo.

Quick, hit "spacebar"

I'm going to need your guys' help with something. Can someone leave a comment every few hours reminding me that I'm in "real life" as opposed to "Counter-Strike."

I need these reminders because as has been breathlessly reported in the media about 10,000 times, subhuman murderer Cho played the game Counter-Strike.

I play Counter-Strike. I didn't realize it was a problem until I kept hearing the news reports that explained it all to me. Now I'm very worried that I could be at the local Albertson's and suddenly forget that I went to buy cat food and instead imagine that I'm in a computer game.

But I think that I'm safe because I have been leaving yellow post-its around the house with the message "you are in real life NOT Counter-Strike" and my wife sends me regular text messages of the same.

This is just in time too, the other day when I had to hop over an object in front of me I attempted to hit "spacebar" instead of actually jumping and I tripped...

Seen today

Today I saw something that made me really wish I had my camera. Two guys with signs, one of whom was begging while the other was holding a sign advertising "workers needed, call this number" They were kitty corner...

Black Panthers, Klansmen feeling "scorned"

Hillary Picks La Raza Leader As Campaign Co Chair
The former president of an extremist group that organized many of the country’s disruptive pro illegal immigration marches and advocates the return of the American Southwest to Mexico will co-chair Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Best known for his radical pro Chicano work during 30 years as president of the National Council of La Raza, Raul Yzaguirre is being promoted by the Clinton campaign as a prominent Hispanic activist who will lead the New York senator’s outreach to Hispanic voters.

This is the guy who said "U.S. English is to Hispanics as the Ku Klux Klan is to blacks." Great, I hope that you conduct your campaign in spanish.

Another great one: "From a Latino perspective, the debate over how to restore growth in the U.S. economy has everything to do with status and outlook of the federal budget."

This racist spends his time making sweeping statements about hispanics as if everyone with the same ethinicity wears the same shoes.

I would gloat that it's good for conservatives to see the democrats run with racists but I'm guessing that the leading republican candidates wish they could have gotten this guy first. So sad.

You defend us from "global warming", we'll protect the women and children

Can you stupid liberals go back to pretending to defend us from made up problems like global warming and let the men of this country defend our wives, children, parents, neighbors and fellow students from homicidal maniacs?

No man I know would prefer to be powerless to defend another human being in danger, no man I know would cede that the defense should come from a government agent instead of himself. (perhaps wives will start asking beauraucrats to open pickle jars for them as well)

And no one who has even a faint grasp of our Bill of Rights and Constitution thinks that guns are going to be taken away from the citizens of this country. While the courts may be willing participants in any and all restrictions against gun owners (while allowing absolutely no restrictions on killing babies) the general population understands that gun ownership puts personal defense, as well as defense of those around you, in the hands of the individual.

This is not only common sense it is actually a matter of law. Courts have rules that it is a "fundamental principle of American law that a government and its agents are under no general duty to provide public services, such as police protection, to any individual citizen."

And as much as you want to sissify future generations in the re-education camps with "no dodgeball" and "conflict resolution" that refuses to acknowledge that force is sometimes neccessary you can't take away what God has given us: the urge to protect ourselves and our loved ones.

You can't take away the biological fascination that young boys have with guns. Without congnitively realizing it, they know that the gun represents power. Obviously with power comes responsibility but having fewer than 16 bullets in my clip does not make me more or less responsible.

If the best you can offer us is grief counselors and candlelight vigils after the fact then just get out of the way because real Americans, individuals, are here to make sure that their loved ones aren't left childless/fatherless/windowed.

Arm yourself

Virginia Tech Campus Reels From Shooting That Leaves at Least 33 Dead
By the end of the spree, 33 people, including the gunman, were dead and authorities warned the toll could rise because several more were critically injured.

The students at this university do not now need counseling or ritalin, they need concealed carry classes and self-defense training.

If student number 5 had been able to shoot back then maybe students 6-32 (I don't count "number 33" since that seems to be the subhuman gunman) would not have been murdered.

This glossary was developed as part of the division’s community outreach information pilot efforts in coordination with the PHD’s Spanish Translation Accuracy Team, comprised of a cross-section of bilingual staff representing all major public health offices, the Office of Multicultural Health and the Migrant Health Coordinator. The team chosen represents various Hispanic origins and backgrounds.

Liberals frame the argument

You know that we've been letting liberals define the argument for too long when requiring a 15 year old child, who wants to kill her baby so she doesn't get stretch marks, to tell her parents before she gets an abortion is seen as an "unconstitutional restriction" but republicans will gladly let liberals restrict how many bullets can be in my gun, where the clip should be located on my gun and whether or not I can stand on my front porch with it.

Boo hoo you horrible parents

Immigration rally emphasizes kids
In the weeks since her husband was stopped at the airport on his way to Ohio to look for work and then deported to Mexico, Berenice Louis has struggled alone to support her family.

Her husband, Juan Louis, 23, had been the breadwinner since they came illegally to the Seattle area from Mexico four years ago. He worked construction jobs while Berenice stayed home to care for their two young children.

So they both came here illegaly...

Wednesday, she and her two girls were among an estimated 250 to 350 people — most children — who rallied at Westlake Park in downtown Seattle.

Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels, who joined the march, talked about his own family's immigrant roots and said those marching wanted for themselves and their families no less than his own ancestors did when they came from Germany in the 1880s.

Seattle must be so proud of it's "leader."

You have to be some kind of dirtbag parent to put your own children in this situation. It's no one's fault but your own. You broke the law.

Anyone who thinks that we can pass a "comprehensive" immigration bill that will result in anyone going home/leaving after 5 years/paying fines without more endless sob stories such as this has not been paying attention.

We are either a country of laws and we will enforce those laws or we are a country where mayors march hand in hand with criminals and the media will help them shamelessly wave children in an attempt to distract from their lawbreaking and the consequences.

Pay more for illegal aliens part 2

School Based Health Centers: An Overview
Services are available to students regardless of their ability to pay, insurance status, race, color, national origin, religion, immigration status, sexual orientation, handicap, or gender.

So it's just like other taxpayer services... except here instead of simply looking the other way the folks who steal your money openly admit to helping illegal aliens.

Pay more for illegal aliens

2007 Legislative Session
Approximately 17,100 clients receive CAWEM coverage. The CAWEM program
provides limited medical assistance to people who are ineligible for OHP Plus or OHP
Standard coverage solely because they do not meet the Medicaid citizenship or
immigration status requirements.

(search terms highlighted)

Now CAWEM is the program for illegal aliens who are to stupid to lie on their Oregon Health Plan application. Either that or they were going into labor as they ran across the border and went straight to the hospital to have their anchor baby and needed the health care coverage after the fact.

And don't worry, the child who was born 2 days after the border crossing will be eligible for OHP without the parent even having to lie.

Even scarier: the Oregon healthy kids plan which will give Cadillac coverage to "all kids" regardless of immigration status.

Plan on getting arrested

When you go into a situation planning on getting arrested you aren't doing your civic duty, you are just being a criminal.

And when you make up stats like "95% of the earth disagree with our regime" no one takes you seriously.

No one "had you arrested," you broke the law and got arrested. Try wearing some personal responsibility instead of that stupid sign.

Fine, prove it

The liberals are abuzz with talk of a "gay rights" bill in the legislature. And here I was thinking that people who choose to be gay had the same God-given rights as you and I. The same right to free speech, free excercise of religion, the right to bear arms and so forth.

So I guess what they mean is "special" rights. They want something different than what you or I have. Fine, but here's the rule: prove that you are gay.

That's the real catch here. It's not provable. (or disprovable *cough* John Edwards) At least with the other "special rights" folks you can say with scientific certainty that yes, this person is black, hispanic, etc.

And what about those folks who are married for twenty years to a member of the opposite sex and then "discover" (not a mid-life crisis, no sir) that they are gay? Would these new "rights" be conferred on them at the age of 45? Rights that were unavailable to them before?

But the important thing that we must remember, this is about not stigmatizing freaks. SEE "transgender"

Day labor protest Part 5

Our success with the illegal alien day labor protests is undeniable. I have a different folder for each protest we have done (I have a lot of folders) and the pictures in the intial protests include vehicles with major company names on the side. And lot's more vehicles.

This weekend we had a few trucks and they look more like this:

He's licensed, bonded and 'nsured. What we had were some illegal aliens hiring other illegal aliens. The big boys now know that to show up at this site means bad publicity for their bussiness.

So maybe someone gets a job for the day mowing a lawn, not much to attract illegal aliens to the town when that is there best prospect.

And we have the added bonus of the nutty socialists showing up with their "mainstream" signs alerting the general public to their intentions:

As long as great Americans continue to join us at these events we can help make Oregon unfriendly to illegal aliens. If you want to get invovled check out Oregonians for Immigration Reform and the Oregon Minutemen.

Special note: You will notice a new link on my right sidebar to My YouTube Videos. I'm uploading the videos from this weekend's protest as well as videos from previous episodes. Not all these videos will make it to my blog but you can always check at that link to get the full deal. I'm also toying with the idea of doing some video blogging...

Day labor protest Part 4

"The few, the shameful."

Trucks that had intended to pick up at the illegal alien day labor site would slow down, stare incredulously at us with our signs and then notice me running towards their vehicle with a camera and then most of them would continue driving down the street without stopping to hire an illegal alien.

Unfortunately a few did. Here is there shame:

That's Luna Landservice 503-357-7023 or 503-849-8754.

These shameful two weren't interested in even taking the Labor Ready card I offered. (at Labor Ready you can hire a day laborer who has had a drug screen, has liability insurance, filled out paperwork including an I-9 eligibility form and W-4 for taxes)

The man in the hooded sweatshirt also isn't interested in having a worker who is drug free, insured, pays taxes and is a legal citizen. The guy in the hat is dutifuly fulfilling his role of standing in front of the license plate. (which I also have a picture of)

But despite these few shameful lawbreakers the day was a success. The illegal aliens have figure out that this is not a place to come to get a job on a Saturday. (unless they "job" is to volunteer to carry a counterprotest sign that indicates they are "radical women.")

"The many, the proud"

The "most creative protestor of the day" award

Faced with "free speech propents" for oppsition who would attempt to stand very close to him and cover his sign, this OFIR member brought himself an extra long stick and rose above the crowd! Classic.

Stay tuned for more videos/pics/narrative.

Day labor protest Part 3

The socialist song: Unemployment and inflation are not caused by immigration, bullshit, get of it, the enemy is profit.

It's a regular Socialist Idol competition out there.

Day labor protest Part 2

This is video that I took today during our illegal alien day labor protest in Cornelius. I show the counter-protestors and us stopping a person from hiring an illegal alien.

Many more videos to come.

Day labor protest Part 1

Again we had Oregonians for Immigration Reform and the Oregon chapter of the Minutemen protesting an illegal alien day labor site in Cornelius. (this is where you kook liberals and Bush Republicans whine "how do you know that they are illegal?")

Hmmm... what do you suppose those signs mean? (this is from a previous protest in the same spot)

So this was the second week in a row that we did this particular site and so a (hold on, I'm laughing to myself) more (now it's more of a snicker) organized response showed up.

By "organized" I mean pathetic. This lone woman was the only person to stick up for the illegal workers for the first while.

More intelligent discourse from the other side. I'm "number 1" it would seem.

But the important thing that I want to really stress is this:

This is the first picture I took when we arrived at 7am. Notice the presence of illegal alien day laborers...

This is picture 32 part way through the day. There were three laborers still hanging out. (NOTE: They are hiding their faces because they are doing nothing wrong, not because they are illegal aliens... they literally run behind that column when I approach)

And 45 pictures in we have, as indicated by Rick, just one illegal alien day laborer left. Where did the other ones go? Not to work. (picture of the few pick-ups will be in the next post) They realized that there were no jobs to be had here. They could pick up a protest sign (and how many guys aren't anxious to pick up a sign that says "radical woman" on it) or leave.

This is how you shut these places down. Ok, I just watched some of the video clips I took and they are GREAT. I'm going to upload them and they will be the next post. Stay tuned. It may not be until later tonight.

Illegal alien protest

RALLY TIME! STOP ILLEGAL DAY LABORERS! SAVE THE AMERICAN WORKER!

Where:
Centro Cultural
1110 N. Adair St
Cornelius, OR 97113

When:
Saturday April 7th
7am - 12pm

Ready to step up and make a difference? Come help us keep illegal alien day laborers from working under the table and taking American jobs. Day labor sites provide a magnet for illegal aliens to come to our communities! Help us inform the public and document unethical hiring practices.

You can hold a sign, take pictures and sign an English Immersion ballot initiative sheet. The public response is overwhelmingly positive and the illegal aliens do not find tax-free work so they can send money out of our local economy to foreign countries!
We are making a difference.

predict... could... might... can't say... some

The sky could fall
"Climate Change and Oregon"

But scientists can´t say exactly how these gases will affect the world or when their levels will reach a crisis point.
They "can't say?" Then let's just make things up and tell people they are "facts."

Snowpacks might melt faster, increasing flooding.

Coast towns could experience more flooding...

Oregon´s crops and livestock could be affected by warmer temperatures, less water availability and drier soils.

Some crops, such as wheat, might thrive in warmer temperatures, while others, such as potatoes, could be harmed.

Quick, amongst all these "could's" let's throw in an undeniable fact:
Less water available for irrigation would harm agriculture.

Way to go ladies, you might as well have said that "by waving this magic wand the oceans could dry up. A fish out of water will die."

Different trees would flourish and grasslands might replace some forest land.

Heat waves could increase, causing a rise in heat-related illnesses and deaths.

Some scientific models show Oregon average temperatures could increase by 5 degrees in winter and 4 degrees in summer.
Models such as the one that little Jimmy got an A+ on from his kook 6th grade science teacher.

Native species adapted to Oregon´s climate could suffer if temperatures rise.

This is really sounding like hard science here.

"Bush's Brain" is more like "Bush's Clown"

For those of you who haven't seen it yet:

Now I don't like Karl Rove (as indicated by all of these) but he has now sunk to a new low. (If selling out your country to illegal aliens and supporting Arlen Specter wasn't low enough.)

What could possibly make this moron jump around and act like an idiot? Does he think that he's impressing people? It isn't even funny or amusing. Don't ever darken the doorsteps of a "rap video" again Karl.

No trabajo for you today Part 5

I'm not sure which is worse: the media ignoring our (very effective) protests by not showing up or the media showing up and then ignoring everything they see.

The two "reporters" from The Oregonian went and talked to every person on the side of the illegal alien day laborers who could speak English. Those of us from our side (again, that's the side of following the law) who wanted to say something to the media had to approach them.

This guy says that "our work counts"... yes, it counts as another crime you've committed.

And when I did I was met with almost complete silence other than to be questioned about "is this as many protestors as you are going to have?"

It didn't matter that I explained that all it takes is one person with a camera and one person with a sign to stop this nonsense, it didn't matter that I pointed out that these workers had no drugscreen, no liability insurance, would pay no taxes, would send money out of the country, that statistically a majority of them are illegal aliens and there is a Labor Ready just down the street where workers actually have filled out paperwork and are waiting for a job.

The woman in the purple jacket and the man with the cameras are from The Oregonian.

These crack reporters watched as the illegal alien day laborers cursed at us, flipped us off, grabbed their crotches, made signs calling the USA "fascist", hid their faces from cameras and covered license plates up.

We were polite, respectful and effectively accomplished what we set out to do: keep illegal alien day laborers from getting work and bringing this issue to the public's attention.

I guess that isn't a story good enough for The Oregonian.

No trabajo for you today Part 4

A couple of fun mentionables from our illegal alien day labor protest. (I don't have time this morning to do a full bash of The Oregonian reporters, that will come this afternoon)

Did you realize that being a day laborer comes with an excellent benefits package? Yes, both medical and dental coverage is offered... at taxpayer expense of course!
This van, as well as two medical facilities are located just across the street from the day labor site. This program is funded through the Washington County Commission on Children and Families. A County building was leased to VGMHC at a cost of $1 per year, allowing their grant funds to be used for remodeling rather than land purchase and construction.

The other great thing is that, as part of their "we'll do whatever it takes to fill the pews including shower loving affection on criminals" program the local Catholic church decided to erect a border that could be crossed by illegal aliens... but not us.
Way to go guys, hypocrisy and disgusting irony are cleary worth it to keep those Spanish language sermons going. Open arms to criminals but closed off to citizens who have a different opinion.

No trabajo for you today Part 3

Scroll down for part 1 and 2)

One of the funnier things about the protests that Oregonians for Immigration Reform and the Oregon Minutemen do at illegal alien day labor sites is the fact that the potential workers, once they realize that no contractor in their right mind will pick them up, become sign-carrying, slogan chanting activists.

This poor guy doesn't seem to realize that union membership involves actually filling out paperwork (something that illegal aliens day laborers want to avoid) and having taxes withheld from your paycheck (something else that illegal alien day laborers want to avoid).

Nothing will endear you to the average American like refering to the USA as "fascist." Way to go guys.

Our signs make a great contrast to those of the illegal alien supporters.
Us: Fllow the law
Them: The USA is fascist

And since ours are in English the people driving by can actually understand them!

Again, our signs: follow the law. Their signs: support criminals.

NOTE: Not a word about this protest in the leftstream media today. Next post will be dedicated to bashing the illegal alien advocate, err, unbiased reporters from The Oregonian.
