CAUSA and PCUN are calling on supporters to write letters to the editor to the Register Guard in support of the Op-Ed and to ask Peter Defazio to reject enforcement-only proposals and support Comprehensive Immigration Reform that provides a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented immigrants currently in the U.S.
But as long as it's not an "automatic" pathway it's not amnesty.
PCUN is the same group who supports the Carousels at the expense of actual citizens who don't break the law.

Well.....what the hell did you expect!!! The PCUN represents the new thinking of the illegals coming in now....which is TAKE OVER THE COUNTRY AT ALL COSTS. They see we are a PC dominated nation and it will be easy to get what they want. If you just hand over a country to an invasion force...of course they will take advantage of it.

As I understand the "guest worker" proposal by President Bush, it takes illegal aliens and gives them legal status(if they ask for it). Mr.Atkinson to my knowlege supports Mr. Bush's proposal.This proposal is "amnesty". I can't vote for a candidate who supports a "guest worker" provision which in my mind is amnesty."amnesty" is wrong for too many reasons.
Mr. Atkinson has released a official position 2-6-06.He "will support a limited, tempory guest worker proram". Changing non-legal status to legal status is amnesty.
"LEGAL" Immigrants may pay taxes BUT how many ILLEGAL Immigrants pay taxes?
Maybe she was refering to them paying taxes to Mexico, after all, it was a Mexican flag.
