Peace protestors not sounding peaceful

Portland Indymedia has posted pictures of their suspected "snitch" in several anarchist arrests. Keep in mind that these are Democrat voters when you read the next quote:

"Such speculations have recently been confirmed, and I was told to make everyone aware of this person to watch out for her, and to, like one should do with every snitch, erradicate their prescense from the radical community."

Indy allows comments and the fist one starts like this:

"We're all going to have to keep our eyes out for places to hide cameras on one's person. Maybe it's time to expect anyone going to meetings to take off all head gear, sun-glasses and other unnecessary items."

Now I've gone to a few Republican meetings and we never seemed worried about cameras or "snitches." But then again, we weren't discussing breaking the law either.

If you vote Democrat you vote with these people. (and people like "Snoop Dogg") Think about that.

Works both ways, as usual. Vote Republican and you vote with Michael Savage and Pat Robertson.

For every lunatic "liberal" you showcase, there's a lunatic "conservative" who agrees with you.

kaelri-

Michael Savage and Pat Robertson weren't charged with murder and don't talk about b*tches and hoes.

I'd be ashamed to be compared to Snoop. Though I don't like Savage and don't care about Robertson, I'm fine being grouped with them.

Sounds like we need to out the nuts at Indy Media and shut it down.

I left comments on the positive side about Anna. "Great going Anna, at least we have more moles now thanks to her work on this front".
I see they (Earth first) (elf) Indy Media, whack jobs) won't publish it. I guess they only want to see hear and read only one side of the subject. Theirs

Kaelri-

Funny, your profile says you are a 16 year old from New York, with an England email address, and o ya, you work in government?

Why the f*ck are you posting comments on a Portland Oregon metro area local political blog?

Hm. Forgot to remove those lil' factoids from my profile the last time this happened.

"Michael Savage and Pat Robertson weren't charged with murder and don't talk about b*tches and hoes."

I congratulate them. But if you're at peace with having been grouped with a man who believed that the SEA tsunami was a punishment by God toward Muslim civilization and Christian leader who used his authority to call for the murder of another human being, then... well, enjoy.

"I'd be ashamed to be compared to Snoop."

That, at least, is good.

"Wow, Kaelri, that was a bunch of bullcrap. I'd expect better from you, but then I realize you're a teenager, and that I shouldn't."

Well, if I'm to accept the claim in you're profile that you're "here to piss me off," then I'm not entirely certain why your stereotyping dismissal should carry much weight with me.

"Funny, your profile says you are a 16 year old from New York, with an England email address, and o ya, you work in government?"

I'm sorry, you were expecting me to provide wholly-accurate personal information on a public profile?

"Why the f*ck are you posting comments on a Portland Oregon metro area local political blog?"

Why not?

(And that, of course, should be "your," not "you're." Curses.)

Uh...what?

Grammatical self-correction.

and thus you continue to discredit yourself.

What an idiot....

I'm having trouble locating the improper use of "you're" in your comments, kaelri.

Me: "Well, if I'm to accept the claim in you're profile..."

That's all.

You know, this info is nothing new.

I would suggest going to Protest Warrior and seeing the info they have on like situations.

http://www.protestwarrior.com

Yes, they do have a Portland chapter.

Kaelri, I missed you and the ire that you bring.

I would disgree that this is a "tit for tat" thing.

Generally speaking, people who smoke pot vote democrat. People who have jobs and go to church vote republican. (with the exception of southern blacks)

I feel that I'm in better company with the nuclear families who go to church than I am with anarchists and pot smokers.

Terrific -- Pat Robertson's an embarassing nutcase the Republicans would LOVE to unload on some unsuspecting and farflung site (possibly the Seychelle Islands?) and Michael Savage, while brilliant, is a threat to blow-up and leap off the tallest building in SanFranCity-By The Golden.......
And, to the somewhat idealistic Kaerli, remember: IT'S WHAT YOU LEARN AFTER YOU KNOW-IT-ALL THAT COUNTS.

I love the way people call terrorists Peace protestors. This is the same group that destroyed a building at the UW that contained 1/3 of the known plants(Trying to save several Plant Species from extinction) world wide that grow in our mountains. Years of research destroyed for the various research teams that used the building. They are criminals nothing peaceful about them. I guess to some democrats they are peace activists. The way various groups in the past few years have attacked spouses of Military Personal. Damage vehicles used by republicans for get out the vote during the 2004 election. We are looking at hundreds of people that do violence. And you can only point out Michael Savage and Pat Robertson. I see a nation wide trend of violence by democratic fringe groups. I don't see Michael or Pat destroying personal property. I see them wanting to start discussions on issues that are taboo to talk about in Democratic Circles and some Republican Circles. I like to discuss ideas not call names. When you call names you lose. I am glad this group has been caught. They need to figure out who has funded them and take those organizations to task for funding terrorists. Oh gee whiz that would mean even more democratic fringe groups would face charges and maybe block all movement of money from these groups to ensure they are not funding other groups that will continue this selective cycle of violence.
Oh yes on a side note I think this group is responsible for local fires that have happened within a few miles of my home. New home building and because 5 trees are cut down they fire bomb a home. I guess some democrats think this is a good thing. I dont.

Well, obviously, that means you've never been to a White House meeting.. "Snitches" are very much on their minds...

I wish you would post a link to this group. I'd like to look them over firsthand. Who are they?

And Bravo for kaelri. You are absolutely right when you say "works both ways." Furthermore, raspberries on the "experience" crowd... For some, every year is another year of growth - others just go to seed.

Don't go to seed...

The idea works both ways. Unfortunately the sheer numbers don't. Like Daniel said, it's hardly a tit for tat concept.

And stop giggling at "tit for tat".

"Kaelri, I missed you and the ire that you bring."

Ah, merci.

"And, to the somewhat idealistic Kaerli, remember: IT'S WHAT YOU LEARN AFTER YOU KNOW-IT-ALL THAT COUNTS.

Appreciate your concern, though I'm not unfamiliar with depressing disillusionment. Only three or four years ago, I wouldn't have expected otherwise conscientious, intelligent people to say things like this:

"Generally speaking, people who smoke pot vote democrat. People who have jobs and go to church vote republican. (with the exception of southern blacks)"

"The way various groups in the past few years have attacked spouses of Military Personal."

Valerie Plame might be encouraged to hear you acknowledge this.

"I don't see Michael or Pat destroying personal property. I see them wanting to start discussions on issues that are taboo to talk about in Democratic Circles and some Republican Circles."

Thomas Paine, on the other hand, might be discouraged by that.

"New home building and because 5 trees are cut down they fire bomb a home. I guess some democrats think this is a good thing. I dont."

Hi, neither do I. What I'd like you to remember is that the obsessive-cumpulsive psychotics we're talking about here constitute less than a percent of the population of the United States, and they do not represent the other ninety-nine.

Arguing this "tit for tat" business is nonsense for three reasons. First, people like this tend to operate in secrecy, making any statistics worthless to those of us who aren't Steven Levitt. Two, I don't care much if radicals outnumber reactionaries 3:1; their numbers are insignificant whatever the ration. And the third, I can't remember now, but it was the preceding pair that was important.

Head Cam

This GizModo is a few days late to the discussion, but how could you not bring something known as a 'head cam' to one of their meetings?
