Cheaper healthcare

Illegals threaten closure of emergency rooms
Hospital emergency rooms in Florida may soon be closing their doors as a result of increased demands by uninsured and under-insured patients – many of them illegal aliens.

As a result, hospitals in Florida have lost surgeons and stand to lose entire surgical departments. Some hospitals are having a hard time getting physicians to work because they are choosing to work in other areas where they will be fully compensated for the treatment they give.

With hospitals closing and raising prices for patients who do have insurance is it any wonder why the health care system is seen as having a problem?

Illegal aliens are taking advantage of our country, these criminals come here and expect free care while citizens pay for it.

Take your pick, a barrier on the border between us and Mexico or a barrier between us and cheaper health care.

the article also mentions...
"Certain diseases that we thought we had vanquished years ago are coming back, and other diseases that we've never seen or rarely seen in America, because they've always been the diseases of poverty and the third world, are coming in now," she said.

so maybe if the state and federal government will not do anything, the CDC might!

The left's response to this is socialized medicine. Don't hold anyone accountable. Don't stop the flow of illegals. We, the government, will just take over health care and distribute to whomever we see fit. In your case, you can get in the back of the line, whitey. You are no better than a felon or an illegal alien. If they happen to be in line before you, for whatever reason, tough. Deal with it. Don't like it? Too bad. What are you going to do about it? Can't get private medical care in Canada anymomre either, so you are stuck with your lot in life. If you die while waiting for medical services, that is your problem, even if you would otherwise have the means to take care of yourself. Have a nice day. :)

Yes, I have been to the Salem ER 3 times in the last month and yes we were the only ones speaking English! and yes we waited a long time for what is supposedly an "Emergency"

Robin, CDC is the federal government. They do some good things, but they are ineffective with other things.
