I learned it in school

Medical Marijuana Class Offered at UCC
Those interested in learning more about medical marijuana can take a five-week class at Umpqua Community College starting Oct. 4.

The class, from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, will teach topics such as the history of the Oregon Medical Marijuana Act, state and federal laws, patient-caregiver relationships and safety and security matters.

Good use of a taxpayer funded institution.

From UCC website:
UCC is a two-year public, comprehensive institution that offers educational programs in adult basic education, technical, vocational, liberal arts, and pre-professional transfer courses.

Most of the population is trying to keep drugs out of the public schools. But here in Oregon we make sure our students are well versed in all matters relating to the hippie lettuce.

Daniel, using that argument, law schools wouldn't be allowed to study Oregon's marijuana law either. Shame shame :)

If you want to live in Oregon where Pot and Prozac Prevail, you gotta be informed.

I'm guessing they won't be having any "How to spot and ice a terrorist" classes anytime soon.

hey, if they can teach kids about anal sex, why not pot?

C'mon Don, these are not legal scholars teaching this class, they are pot activists who define themselves by their drug use.

Gullyborg has given me an idea for a new children's book for the schools:

Heather has two mommy's and a funny smelling plant growing in her closet.

Let me see if I understand this correctly. You (right wing wacko)and your narrow minded, flag waving friends are that worked up over ciriculum that discusses marijuana laws and somehow are able to make a tie to terrorism and same sex issues. What you fail to understand is that without education and the ability to think for ourselves - we all start to think the same. The last thing this world needs is more people with your point of view where the decline of civilization is always someone elses fault. Open your mind, see the possibility in not being a pawn of an administration who has failed to make improvements to the system. Stop talking about the effects and ignoring the cause. Educate yourself and while you are at it - load the pipe, take a hit and RELAX!

As the original post did not include entire story - this does NOT appear to be a class on "how to grow pot and not get caught".

Attendees will find out how to register for the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program.

(READ: PATIENTS WILL HAVE TO REGISTER WITH A GOVERNMENT RUNNED PROGRAM)

The class is recommended for patients who could benefit from medical marijuana and their families.

(READ: PATIENTS. PEOPLE WITH EXISTING CONDITIONS WHICH GOVERNMENT TAXED PHARMACUDICALS CAN NOT ALIEVE)

Medical professionals are also encouraged to attend.

(READ: DOCTORS WHO UNDERSTAND THE MEDICAL BENEFITS OF A NATURAL "GOD CREATED" PLANT)

Relaxed yet?!?

If I did? What are you attempting to prove with the question Daniel?
