1000 Enemies of Property Owners: Where they live

1000 Enemies of Property Owners (commonly referred to as 1000 Friends of Oregon) works to "Promote compact, livable cities with affordable housing, greenspaces and transportation choices" which in English means they want all of us to live in sardine cans, have no car, no yard, and ride the MAX in the rain to get our groceries.

But how do the 1000 Enemies live? Are they leading by example? Uh... no. Simply go to http://maps.google.com/, copy and paste the address (provided by Superpages.com) and click "satellite."

Board of Directors
Vice President
Rajiv Batra
Town Planner, Portland
2419 SW Montgomery Dr, Portland, OR 97201-1729
http://maps.google.com/

Rajiv lives in an area that in no way could be called "compact."

Nancie Peacock Fadeley
Community Leader, Eugene
260 Sunset Dr Eugene, OR 97403-2121

Ms. Peacock doesn't live in a condo either.

Mike Houck
Urban Naturalist, Portland
2433 NW Quimby St, Portland, OR 97210-2644

The "Urban Naturalist" doesn't seem to have to park his car on the street...

Where, just out of curiosity, are you getting these addresses?

Superpages.com

I obviously can't look up names like Bob Smith but I'm pretty confident that there isn't more than one Rajiv Batra in Portland.

The address from the last post, Robert Liberty, is off his website. (same as the address listed on Superpages.com)

This is so good, Daniel. Great work.

Suggestion, we should get blog participants to go take a picture of these hypocrite's properties/houses and post them here. Then we can not only see where and what they live in, but *how* they live as well.

Every proponent of "smart growth" and "GHETTO" style living IE: Metro Councilors (Burkholder, McLain, etc.)as well as 1000 Fiends members should have:

a: their picture posted
b. their home picture posted
c. their source(s)of income posted

I'd love to get a picture of one of them driving an SUV. Or maybe I could go Michael Moore style and wait outside their house in the rain and yell "why aren't you taking the bus?" when they drive by...
