Daniel criticizes Mexico as "disgraceful" and "shameful"

Mexican President Criticizes U.S. Border Wall
Mexico's president on Wednesday criticized the U.S. decision to complete a wall along the border and use drones to increase security, calling it "disgraceful and shameful."

"This situation we're seeing, a disgraceful and shameful moment where walls are being built, security systems are being reinforced, and human and labor rights are being violated more and more, won't protect the economy of the United States," President Vicente Fox said.

"It would be hard to know what would happen to the economy of the United States if it wasn't for the enormous contribution, the productivity, the quality of work of our countrymen in that country," Fox added.

Of all the things that are "disgraceful" and "shameful" about our immigration situation, the border wall and increased security is not one of them.

What's disgraceful is that the president of Mexico can still hold his head up when it's clear that there is a mass exodus of his citizens to a better country. That condidtions in his own country are so bad that his main job seems to be encouraging illegal migration. Mexican citizens are voting with their feet, obviously they don't think too highly of Mexico and by extension, you Mr. Fox.

What's shameful is that our president allows a foreign government to encourage the invasion of our country, the violation of our laws and then claim that it's neccessary for our economic viability. President Bush should rebuke Fox's statements that our society is dependent on illegal labor. The point should be made that Mexico's economy is dependent on illegal labor as their second largest source of (documented) income is remittance from America. I say "documented" because they make quite a bit off of narcotics as well.

Daniel... I think it is "disgraceful and shameful" that she put up a fence around your house and lock your front door to prevent somebody that is unauthorized from entering your home.

This is the attitude that Fox seems to be taking... we are invading your country, how dare you try to do something about it!

Perhaps, since we have been on the defensive for such a long time regarding the immigration issue in Mexico, maybe we should consider the US changing our strategy and taking offense measures.

Apparently, the people of Mexico are crying for help to save their country as evident by the millions of people that leave it every year claiming how bad their lives are.

Shouldn't that mean that the US should liberate the Mexican people so that we can return the poor Mexican nationals back to their homeland.

See, we have been approaching this all wrong.

Large corporations and the US government see the undocumented worker has a large source of revenue, well taking over Mexico will solve that as well because it would create a huge tax base.

To sum up: people living in Mexico are miserable and are coming here, where greedy and we need money... invade Mexico.

There you go, problem solved.

I would like to see FOX get rid of that fence around his mansion. and then get rid of that fence around the White House and his Ranch in Texas, Mr. Bush. After all the White House IS a public building.
Illegal labor is about 5% of our workforce, they can ALL leave and it won't effect jack!

I like Robin's idea. We need to work harder to help those Mexican refugees get their country back!

Fox knows his country will fall further when we shut down "their second largest source of (documented) income".
Fox is worried for his future.
Mexico has declared on America and the invasion has begun.
To hell with the fence.
Dig a ditch, fill it with land mines and grab some scotch for the show.

Mexico is like the rich person who shoplifts, their country is so rich in natural resources yet they choose to rely on criminal income instead.

Mexico has always been a pain in our butt. It's high time we have another war with Mexico.
