They all start to look the same

Whether you are talking about a march to give amnesty to illegal aliens or a march to legalize marijuana, they all have the same type of signs:

No human being is illegal

We are patients not criminals

The funny thing is, those signs could apply to anything. A child molestor could claim that "no human being is illegal" and a meth user could claim to be a "patient not a criminal."

Sorry guys, we have laws and you are expected to follow them.

From yesterday's "Million Marijuana March" in Portland:

hey, Daniel, with ANOTHER Kennedy having trouble keeping a car on the road late at night, claiming to be a "patient," not a criminal, just like his dad (remember Ted's neck brace?), we are all in possession of the perfect alibi.

No wonder they want to legalize that stuff. Calling us the problem validates their character flaws.

Looks as the Million Pot march could only muster about 15 people in Salem and a scraggy bunch at that.

I guess the majority either over slept of simply forgot what day it was.

What is it with you red diaper doper babies? The illegal aliens entered illegally, they're working illegally, they're using false documentation to exist here... which is a crime. Everything about their presence is illegal. You bet it’s personal. I understand that you liberal commies are a tad obtuse, but this is ridiculous.

We used to lock you communist bastards up, now you have blogsites. You're pathetic mayhem.

I think the idea is to persuade people to change the laws.

"You're not calling their action illegal, you're making a personal statement and calling their state of being illegal."

I think Daniel is calling their state of being [in this country] illegal. Which, simply put, it is. Whether or not it should be that way, and whether or not it should be forgiven, a nation-state has the collective right to exclude citizens of other nation-states from crossing their borders. If they want to come in they need our permission.

The part where I start disagreeing with Daniel is how and to whom we should give it.

"What is it with you red diaper doper babies?"

...no, just... I know you won't listen but I strongly recommend that you find a better guiding light than Michael Savage.

I think those chicks have been spending too much time satiating their munchies.

An illegal alien is a criminal because of his/her actions. Crossing border illegaly, working illegaly, using someone else's SSN illegaly, selling drugs illegaly...

And Kaelri, they want the laws changed to legalize their current law breaking after the fact.

"And Kaelri, they want the laws changed to legalize their current law breaking after the fact."

Of course they do. Stupid laws should be repealed.

Kaelri said...

"You don't get to decide which laws are stupid and which ones aren't. The people COLLECTIVELY get to VOTE on these sorts of things."

And before they vote, they try to convince each other as to how they should vote. This is a fundamental element of democracy, yes?

"They have no one to blame except themselves. Knowing this, they have the balls to march in the streets and DEMAND that the US change the laws so that they can stay here, and reap the rewards that they have been receiving Illegally.

"Now THAT's stupid."

It might be spiteful and immoral, but it would only be stupid if they didn't have a chance of success and knew it. As it is, they happen to have the ear of certain persons like the President of the United States of America, who still has until next Inauguration Day or his impeachment trial, whichever comes first.

First Anon, or should I say Savage Cabbage Head. Get your own idiot phrase. The RDDB thing is stupid. Besides, the only one that qualifies to envoke Savage is Bruce the Klan Barber. He at least has him blaring at the barbershop while he sweeps up dust from the corners.

Secondly anon, as for the pot chicks "satiating their munchies", I would say by looking at the anti-immigrant fat assed ugly bitches you guys bring to your nazi rallies, I would say shave those dogs and teach em' to hunt.

Finally, all you immigrant hating nativists need to get over yourselves. Our immigrant brothers and sisters are staying put. In the end, congress will side with the immigrants over you whinning wimps. Now go back to your cheap glasses of Coors beer at your favorite tavern in east county and find a new group of people to hate.

sue,
would you be one of those "anti-immigrant fat assed ugly bitches" mr. doger mentioned?

Ah, Dodgy Rogie's at it again. Unable to come up with rational statements, he resorts to his time-honored fallback position of mis-characterization.

We like immigrants; we don't like illegal aliens. The inept sot knows this, yet continues to attempt to perpetuate his lie, because he has nothing of substance to add.

Notice that he's unable to concede his mistakes. Recently, he referred to someone here as a "felon"; an accusation that he of course is unable to substantiate - and as is the case with virtually everything he spews, falls under the heading of: (YAWN).

Golly, Dishonest Abe.

You dredge up the same old stuff as though it somehow justifies your allegations.

I've read it before. Nowhere is your target of preference listed as a "felon".

I think my name for you is a lot more accurate.

Question for Mike Mayhem, one I have asked before: You keep referring to the illegal aliens as "undocumented". If you were to hold up a bank at gunpoint, would that be an "undocumented withdrawal"? Your logic here, as usual, is all screwed up. You are sounding more like roger doger every time you post something. When you get to that point, it is time to sit back and reevaluate yourself and your own values -- if you have any.

Kaelri: Of course stupid laws should be repealed. But that doesn't happen over night, and until it does happen, we all have to abide by them. We do not get to pick and choose which ones we will follow and which ones we won't. Unless, of course, you want to go to the slammer. Maybe you do. That way you would get three hots and a cot, all at the government's expense. Typical liberal thinking - letting the government take care of you. Maybe, if you were lucky, they would give you Massaoui as your cell mate.

One other thing: Roger doger is complaining about Michael Savage. Granted, Savage does get a bit carried away once in a while. But he is absolutely right about one thing - Liberalism is a social disease. And roger doger , kaelri, and mike mayhem, along with anonymous the ultra-liberal pontificator, are badly infected with it. But, at least it isn't too contagious, at least to right-thinking conservatives, like Sue and Daniel and Bruce the Barber.

I agree.

Unless, of course, the constitutionality of the law can be disproven, and thus someone can break the law, get arrested, sue the United States, and win. I'm not entirely sure whether anti-drug legislation applies here - need to have another look at Article I soon.

"Unless, of course, you want to go to the slammer. Maybe you do. That way you would get three hots and a cot, all at the government's expense. Typical liberal thinking - letting the government take care of you."

Being a lazy brick-in-the-wall has nothing to do with liberalism.

"Maybe, if you were lucky, they would give you Massaoui as your cell mate."

I assume you were just looking for a way to throw a Zacarias Moussaoui allusion into the post to derail the topic?

"Liberalism is a social disease. And roger doger , kaelri, and mike mayhem, along with anonymous the ultra-liberal pontificator, are badly infected with it."

Yeah. We're diseased. Absolute lepers, keep your distance. I'll be over in the other corner with Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln.

If you do an OJIN search on Daniel Miglavs, he certainly is a convicted felon.

Hey dan, have you ever even seen marijuana in your life aside from pictures? have you ever used it? if you answered no to either of those questions, you have no legitimate position on the topic and are probabaly just stating what you've been told through anti-marijuana rhetoric. Seriously, have you EVER researched the subject for yourself? Go read about Nixon's failed attempt to find a reason to make marijuana justifiably illegal: "The Report of the National Commission on Marihuana and Drug Abuse" AKA The Schaffer Report. You will see that while marijuana can indeed be abused like any other material object(you as a child perhaps?j/k), based on its long and short-term effects, there is no reason why it should remain illegal if alcohol and nictoine(known poisons, unlike marijuana) remain legal. Go make cyanide-fortified milk legal if you want to add to your hypocritical stance, but don't venture into territory you don't know anything about because it will only make you look like a total douche. Read the report and refute me if you'd like...
