One more service open to illegals

While doing one of my regular searches of Oregon government websites I ran across this:

Persons awaiting resident status (undocumented immigrants) have very limited options without insurance coverage.

Latino PLWH may not be aware that Ryan White Title I does not require proof of residency status to access services.

I had no clue what "Ryan White Title I" was so I looked it up. It's funding for HIV/AIDS. Taxpayer funding. And illegal aliens can get it. So what does it cost?

For FY 2001, the Portland-Vancouver OR-WA EMA received an award of $3,513,044 in Title I funds.

So that 3.5 million in taxpayer dollars potentially goes to help illegal aliens get housing. How nice.

There will always be federal or state dollars for illegal aliens as long as we put up with what our goverment is doing with our tax dollars. Alot of people say that they just want a better life but we get stuck paying for their better life. Let the people that feel sorry for the illegals pay the bill. Iam more interested in my own parents and all the elderly in this country getting the proper health care when they retire. It,s time we started taking care of our own people not illegals.

I agree anon 6:28. We need to start voting out the fools that are unwilling to get tough on the illegal aliens.

After looking at the NumbersUSA's Immigration Report Cards for our State Congressmen... whom are mostly showing failing grades. I was disgusted to say the least.

Here's the list:

Gordon Smith D+
Ron Wyden D
Earl Blumenauer F-
Darlene "do nothing" Hooley D+
Greg Walden B
David Wu F
Peter DeFazio B+

It looks like we keep DeFazio and Walden... and dump the rest of the worthless idiots.

Call Smith and Wyden, tell them how you expect them to vote on the immigration bill!

You're right Daniel. I've sent email after email to both of these so called Senator's, and not one a response back.

I think it is time for the personal touch and start making the phone calls. This is way to serious to just stick our heads in the sand and hope all will be better.

If the illegals want free housing, I'm sure the bums in Dignity Village will accomodate them. But they would probably bitch about the noise caused by arriving and departing planes.

Illegal aliens expect better than Dignity Village from our state government!
