Gordon "Sombrero" Smith

It's Super Smith! Defender of the illegal alien! Apologist for crime! Able to leap the tallest obstacles to screwing this country!
And did anyone read the Fishwrapper piece on him today?
At the company the Oregon Republican has owned for 25 years, most of the workers are Latino.
"It's hard for me to share in some of the vitriol I hear being spoken about them," he said after Thursday's vote. "I don't feel that because I know these people."
Know what "people" Senator? Latinos or illegal aliens? Or are all Latinos illegal aliens to you?
I'm so sick of people associating Latinos/Hispanics/immigrants with illegal aliens. It's like saying that because you know a guy who has a beer when he bar-b-ques that you know how a drunk driver feels. There is no connection.
I for one will work hard to support an opposition candidate in the primary and if Smith is in the general then I will not vote for him, I'll watch his democrat opponent win.

Ya Senator Smith knows all 15 MILLION illegal aliens.
I like your photo. Can I steal it and put it on my blog?
yip yip
Help yourself!
I would say that usually no senator would know any illegal alien but I guess that is who cleans their large houses, landscapes their large yards and cooks in their large kitchens.
It's us Americans that they don't know.
or care about.
What elected official does give a damn about the legal citizen? None I can name here in the PNW.

Sorry, I just thought that needed repeating. So many people just don't seem to get it.
It's not about ethnicity - it's about respect.
This is a direct quote from El Gordo himself in a reply to a letter I sent him on illegal immigration: "While I support the creation of a limited guest worker program to keep our economy growing, I oppose broad amnesty for illegal immigrants. Anyone who wants to come to live in the United States must abide by our laws while paying taxes and learning the English language.
We cannot continue to absorb the unregulated flow of illegal immigrants, many of whom benefit from government services that American citizens and companies provide....You can rest assured that I will continue working to protect the rights and the safety of Americans."
Please El Gordo, don't help anymore. Or, no mas, no mas!
And no mas el presidente Bush!
Senator Smith quote "I'm so sick of people associating Latinos/Hispanics/immigrants with illegal aliens. It's like saying that because you know a guy who has a beer when he bar-b-ques that you know how a drunk driver feels. There is no connection." Ok Gordo, who do you suspect are coming across our border with Mexico, Liputians? You pandering pinhead!!
Why is it Liberals and Turn Coats can't count past 11,000,000 while Conservatives and Realists can pass 20,000,000 with ease?
Still whimpering, whinning and bitching??? I thought maybe I would have heard the end of it from from you nativists by now. I am so glad that Senator Smith and Senator Wyden didn't listen to you fools. Shows that at least Oregon's Senators have some common sense.
It is really funny that Sen. Smith layed you mother f'ers out. I have to say, I have a new found respect for him not being even bothered in the least by you pinheads. I just might volunteer for his campaign when he is up for re-election.
... the company Senator Smith has owned for 25 years. And what company is that? Is the name being kept secret from angry voters?
I thought they were sworn to uphold the law and the Constitution of the United States in addition to being a representative of the people.
perhaps, the next measure would be a recall based.
but wait... how can you recall a senator when our own president is setting an example of supporting illegals.
what you wanna bet that they will NOT be any increase in the enrollment of England immersion classes?
When do we see the NRP (National Revolutionary Party)?
Hey, dodge-ball boy!
Still stuck on stupid, I see.
I was going to refute you, but it would be a waste of Daniels bandwidth to try. Your "mind" is made up, and that's that. I wouldn't want to give you any facts that might get in the way of your prejudice.
Enjoy the kool-aid.
Doger Roger - I guess you can't comprehend a representative Government.
Please ease your thrills about elected officials NOT doing what they are paid to do via NOT voting for the interests of Americans.
Cuba, N. Korea or most places in the Middle East will give you a chance to hang out with 'like" others.
This will ease your apparent lack of ability to understand a free market society with rules to keep things more on a level playing field.
In other Countries of your obvious preference, there is no level playing field and you will live in a 12th Century enviroment and not have to worry about expressing your views with a non acceptance stance from others.
You will not have a choice in representation, instead they will make sure you spend most of your time, just surviving.
Meanwhile your "leaders" utilize & live like Kings from the Capitolist profit making ventures that they tell you are BAD & don't Work, as you are convinced as well.
Good point. Is Smith representing his constituents with this vote? Polling says he isn't!
Roger Dodger would like us to be like Mexico, a corrupt oligarcy. When you challenge him and his ilk point by point, they can't keep up, nor are they really interested in a logical debate with starting points being protection of sovereignty or limited government. They are elites, focused on self-benifiting power. Roger would subvert democracy much as it has been done in Mexico for decades. Roger may not even benifit himself, but identifies with this ruthless elite based on either deluded dogma or some belief that an illegal horde made legal can be controlled much as the elite think they can control the United States Senate, through money and governmental favortism at critical moments. If it changes the United States beyound recognition, too bad, nothing can stand in the way of their open border policy promulgated by the United States Senate.

It 'taint no secret anymore....
Smith’s Frozen Foods
Wow, I read the speech by Jeff Sessions, United States Senator(R-AL). This bill passed by the United States Senate is a sick evisceration of our sovereignty, any meaningful enforcement of our borders, and a huge entitlement. The bill will expand government in a most corrupt way because all the mechanisms are designed to cancel all the outward provisions of the bill. The bill demonstrates how arrogant and cynical are these corrupt senators.
This is a rank stench eminating from The United States Senate, a blot on the history of the Senate, equal or greater than the Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854 which opened the territories to slavory, split the Country, divided the Democrats, killed the Whigs, and gave birth the Republicans, and led to the greatest tragedy and danger Our Republic has known...The Civil War. Yes, the stakes are that high, for our future will be irrepably changed by any passage of a bill remotely like the Senate bill.
Senator Smith received more calls, emails and letters urging him to support the immigration bill than he did telling him to oppose it. The fact is he did the job Oregonians wanted him to do--support comprehensive immigration reform.
Bullshit! Prove it!
Ditto on the Bullshit anon 5:53! This man's voice mail was swamped by patriotic American's wanting him to protect our borders and vote against the Guest Worker/Amnesty that Bush is trying to shove down our throats.
Not more than those wanting comprehensive immigration reform. If you don't believe it call their offices. These decisions aren't made in a vaccuum, you fools.
Anon 5:53, so you think that a majority of Oregonians support amnesty? Hah. No one has any data to support that claim.
Every poll/survey done has conclusively proved otherwise.
Maybe all those calls that Smith got supporting "comprehensive immigration reform" (amnesty) came from the employees of Smith Frozen Foods. Now I know why he (Smith) voted the way he did. Screw the people he was elected to represent, he has a company to run.
Oh, and Anon, might you have inside info that you're not sharing with us? Obviously you're in the know.
Right behind you, sue k..
