Support Saxton!

Reformers pick Saxton
Oregonians for Immigration Reform, which opposes illegal immigration, has endorsed Republican Ron Saxton in the May primary election.
In a new release circulated Friday, OFIR president Jim Ludwick says: "Four years ago we were unable to get any of the candidates for governor to even comment about the impact of illegal immigration on Oregon."
Not so in 2006. Republicans Saxtion, Jason Atkinson and Kevin Mannix all completed OFIR questionnaires.
According to the news release, all three candidates were outspoken about the need for immigration reform. But Saxton won the group's unanimous endorsement. --Michelle Cole
