If Mexico doesn't like it... you know it's good

Mexico criticizes Georgia's newly approved anti-immigrant law
The Mexican government slammed a newly approved immigrant enforcement law in the U.S. state of Georgia, saying the legislation discriminates against Mexicans while failing to resolve the migration issue.

Ruben Aguilar, the spokesman for President Vicente Fox, told a news conference Tuesday that Mexican consular officials will closely watch the application of the law, which gives Georgia some of the toughest measures against illegal immigrants in the United States.

Boo hoo.

I'm trying to remember, how did Mexico respond to our requests to help in the war on terror? They gave us the finger. How do they respond when we ask them to extradite cop-killers? They give us the finger. How does Daniel respond when they cry about us enforcing our laws? I give them the finger.

It's about time some of our state leaders start to acknowledge that we have a very serious problem that has been overlooked and ignored for way too long and get with the program, when it comes to getting tough on "Illegal Aliens", not this so-called "Undocumented Workers" crap. I'm so tired of politicians and our so-called elected leaders hiding from an overly obvious and out of control situation, behind the demise of "We have not figured out what to do in this situation". All they have to do is uphold the laws of this country and that would be one hell of a good starting point.

I give them all the finger. I'd welcome them with open arms should they come here legally and assimilate into the American way of life. At least learn the language for gods sake. If I were a MethHead, I'd be pissed about "Anti Meth" legislation too. Let's put a stop to this crap once and for all. Screw Mexico! We don't tell them which laws to enforce, they should keep their noses out of our business.

I remember a time when Oregon used to be a leader.

Mexico is upset because Georgia is cutting off one of their biggest revenue sources to their country and they are scared that this will start a trend similar to the House bill 4437.

To me however I relate it to the criminal complaining that I just change the locks on my front door, or the same as the guy who stole our car six months ago complaining that we didn't put enough gas into it.

In either case, I do not so sorry for them.

WAY TO GO GEORGIA!!!!! Every provision of that bill should be enacted here. It should be made effective in July of THIS year, though.

Mexico criticizes Georgia's newly approved anti-immigrant law and at the same time "TULTITLAN, Mexico (AP) -- A state policeman fatally shot a local man whom he apparently mistook for a Central American immigrant during a raid on undocumented workers Monday"

MP-Great article. The quotes from the locals was informative also.

"Townspeople and Central American migrants interviewed around the scene of the shooting said Mexican police frequently rob and abuse undocumented migrants before releasing them without charges.

"If you're carrying any money, they take it from you; federal, local police, all of them," said Carlos Lopez, a 28-year-old undocumented migrant from Guatemala City. Sitting nearby, 18-year-old Jose Ramos, of El Salvador, agreed.

"If you're on a bus, they pull you off and search your pockets and if you have any money, they keep it and say 'Get out of here,"' Ramos said."

It's too bad we're the bad guys.

Good thing there are no corrupt cops here in America, huh?

Bruce, I don't take it personal, and I forgive you.

I believe it's spelled "intellectual".

Bless your soul Tim, I am glad that you took the time to correct me. I'll be sure to do the same for you.

B.M. said...

But Tom....

Why did you only correct me?
Seeing as how you are so into grammar and such. You should have corrected scottiebill, with his spelling of "initials".

You must not have caught it, because you were so busy trying to peg me, huh?

Yes my "initails" are not b.m. but my initials are.

This is no attack on you scottie, just a defense. So don't take it as an attack towards you.
Mistakes happen. At least for us imperfect people.

bm...your spelling is not so good either, also correct grammar for the last paragraph, would be...."This is NOT an attack on you scottiebill". This is no attack on you......sort of makes you sound like an illegal taco-bender. Did you take any ESL classes....if so, just like a lot of the illegals here...you didn't learn much either!!!!

Bruce you are so funny I am glad that you were able to pick out one of the many errors that were in that paragraph, but please, let's not compare grammar. At least I can write a paragraph without using insults of vulgar language.
