Agency Nabs Illegal Immigrants Across U.S.
In a blitz that began May 26, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has arrested nearly 2,100 illegal immigrants across the country. Officials said the raids are aimed at child molesters, gang members and other violent criminals, as well as people like Da Silva who sneaked back into the country after a judge threw them out.
The crackdown is called Operation Return to Sender.
I look forward to seeing some familiar faces being deported.
Or, more accurately, I look forward to seeing some people who hid their faces from my camera being deported. Take your matricula card with you.

I also really like the name of the operation. It's a good thing all 'round.
Gotcha'! Gotcha' good!
Or: "Se Su tengo!" (Si, SE puede!)
only 11,997,900 to go! Does this mean our idiot governor will help I.C.E.? Didn't think so.
BTW, all you illegals......GOOD RIDDANCE!!!
And we're coming 4 U!
Signed,
La Raza
Ironically, I'm going to be annoying now by supporting some of your philosophies: they're not going to solve the problem two thousand illegals at a time.
Me thinks that the anti-immigrant crowd might see a few undocumented immigrants get deported, but I bet in the end those undocumented immigrants will become citizens and deport the anti-immigrants.
Starting with the Worst First!
A step in the right direction and enough to cause a stir in the Illegal's ranks.
Next!
hey, kaelri, si se puede!
Hey La Raza, when you come for me please use proper English, not numbers or single letters to make words.
A Kaelri, one step at a time. These deportations have a ripple effect. If we do them regularly then people will realize that they can't just thumb their noses at our laws without any response.
You stupid redneck bigots. They are coming over the border faster than they can be deported. Like anon says all the undocs are soon to be citizens under comprehensive immigration reform.
The fact is if the House doesn't pass the Senate plan, nothing will be done. Immigrants will still be flushing the border faster than they can be sent back home. So my advice, support the current the Senate bill or nothing changes.
pipe dreams and nonsense, anon 12:02.
"If the senate bill doesn't pass nothing will get done."
Uh, sorry, when our useless federal government does nothing then citizens will demand that their local representatives at the state level do something. We will have tighter laws and illegal aliens will not be able to operate freely.
is just drop in the bucket. nothing is going to change until we decide to take the problem seriously and stop supporting and encouraging illegal aliens.
we have been invaded and government officials take it as a joke.
Channel 4 in Tucson ran this story
A couple of quotes from it
"The [Humane Borders] volunteers, however, say the border crossers are innocent, crossing in search of a better life."
"[Russ] Dove says Humane Borders is helping illegal immigrants, some he calls criminals, cross the border safely.
"These are robbers, rapists, murders. This is simply aiding and abetting criminal activity".
"
The first story I saw had this information:
"The operation has caught more than 140 immigrants with convictions for sexual offenses against children; 367 known gang members, including street soldiers in the deadly Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13; and about 640 people who had already been deported once, immigration officials said."
(emphasis added)
The Minuteman Project has been labeled as a bunch of Vigilantes.
But this other group ... "hundreds of other Humane Borders volunteers, travels into the wilderness each day"
are what heros?!
I say, we must support the guys on the front lines - that includes keeping in contact with our elected officials.
Does anyone recall the theme song for "Cops"? "What are you gonna do when they come for you? Bad Boy! Bad Boy!"
Kaelri apparently doesn't understand the concept that every little bit helps.
Anon #2, these illegals may be "undocumented workers", but in their case, "undocumented" translates to "illegal". "Illegal" therefore translates into "criminal". Do you understand this basic fact?
I didn't think so.
Well,I wish ICE would come to where I live, I see those illegal gang bangers and dealing their drugs every day, yet the Gresham police will do nothing to round them up, even when you see a crime happening. And on another point about these "poor immigrants". If they are SO poor, and routinely denied their wages, then how come they have nicer cars and more electronics than the avergae working American? Want pictures of it all Daniel? I can send you pictures of these "poor immigrants", next to their brand new vehicles, they most likely got financing for under someone else's Social Security Number!!
"Kaelri apparently doesn't understand the concept that every little bit helps."
I do. I simply think that time and money would be better spent on curing the disease than treating the symptoms.
What's the disease?
Where did you take these people's pictures and why are they hiding their faces?
"What's the disease?"
A gigantic chasm between the Mexican and American economies that makes border-hopping worth the risk.
Mike, I have no idea where Daniel took those pictures, but the reason they are covering their faces is because they are so proud of what they are doing here and how they got here. Kind of like those Hamas hoodlums over in Israel and Palestine.
