Godless: The Church of Liberalism
GODLESS is the most explosive book yet from #1 New York Times bestselling author Ann Coulter. In this completely original and thoroughly controversial work, Coulter writes, “Liberals love to boast that they are not ‘religious,’ which is what one would expect to hear from the state-sanctioned religion. Of course liberalism is a religion. It has its own cosmology, its own miracles, its own beliefs in the supernatural, its own churches, its own high priests, its own saints, its own total worldview, and its own explanation of the existence of the universe. In other words, liberalism contains all the attributes of what is generally known as ‘religion.’ ”

I have "Godless" sitting in my stack of "to read" books. I have listened to various shows where she talks about the comment.
I believe she didn't see this criticism coming...although she did expect to get criticized in some manner.
I think the problem is that she has already said this about those women before, but liberals didn't seem to care because they know she speaks this way all the time. Now that the book is out in all its glory, liberals are trying to discredit her. Where were the liberals when the Fahrenheit fiction movie came out trashing Americans? Thank you!
I'm just waiting for my copy from American Compass Book Club to arrive!!!!
Mayhem,
"I'm sorry, I don't dig people who cash in by trashing the families of 9/11 victims."
She is trashing the 4 "Jersey Girls" who, after receiving their 1 million dollars (paid to them by the Government), have "cashed in" on their husbands deaths. Using their loss as a soapbox to spout their hatred of the President's policies, they have become celebraties on various talk shows and as such wish to further the political agenda of the Left. While I can understand their feelings of personal loss; when you put it out in the political arena - as they have - it should come as no surprise when you are bashed in return.
They have become four more voices in the choir of Cindy Shehan and Michael Moore. (Do you sing bass or tenor?)
BTW - Ward Churchill isn't fit to breath the same air as Ann!
That is all.
Um, *tap tap* hello, wall?
"[T]o generate revenue from her book." Yes - there is a problem with "capitalism", isn't there? She plys her trade and is paid for it. Just like Michael Moore. Oh, wait he's the only one allowed to do that. I get so confused.
"... except for having political ideals, which last time I checked didn't deserve ridicule or character slander."
And George Bush, having "political ideals", does. Right?
I'm learning. I'm learning.
and, 'i invented the mullet', while we're pondering the endless list of double standards used by the anti-Americans on the left, don't forget they all "support the troops," too......sheesh.
Oh, yeah. Thanks, Bear!
/picks up pen and scribbles furiously..."they support the troops, but..."
