Reed College still Godless

The Princeton Review college rankings are out and yet again Oregon's own Reed College tops the list of schools where "Students Ignore God On A Regular Basis." Oregon actually has the pleasure of having two schools in the top five on this list with Lewis & Clark being number five.

We should be so proud...

The who's who of liberal on-campus student groups at Reed...

You know you're doing good work when the trolls come after you so hard and so fast, Daniel!

BTW, GREAT job on the previous article on providing services to illegal aliens!

Jesus Daniel,

These people can't spell either. Probably from one of our prestious institutions, working for the criminals at the SPLC.

I'm sure U of O was an honorable mention.

But Lane Community College is the absolute worst of all--just not listed because it is only a 2 year school.

Surprisingly, Gully, U of O isn't as bad as people think.

First Baptist has some great outreach down there, and I see a lot more people talking about God there than I do at Portland State or Oregon State.

The issue is a silly one.

Are you going to college for an education, or are you going there to talk to God? These are secular schools, for crying out loud. The alternative would be to enroll in one of the religious schools if you are looking for God on campus.

Secular schools don't tell you that you can't believe in a particular religion, but you certainly can't expect them to mandate or endorse certain religious beliefs either.

I agree with the first anon. In addition, these are PRIVATE schools, not public. Private schools can do what they damn well wnat in that regard.

I'll second that. (starting my third year at a two year college)

With all the Foo Foo cources that I have to take for my degree, it is no wonder why students that are coming out of college don't know any thing.

I have three more terms more to go and can say that it was the biggest waste of money and time in my life.

You must not know that these "open minded" institutions allow for all views (as long as the view fits their agenda). God is not socially acceptable any more in the hallowed halls of Academia. Only poor, ignorant, fragile southern blacks who need to be taken care of by the government believe in God.

To be on the faculty at Reed, simply obtain a PhD in something worthless, profess a hatred for every member of the Bush Administration and a hatred for God. Support NAMBLA. Your "open-mindedness" will land you a Faculty Chair "position."

Congratulations posters!

None of you, not one, has the brains, writing talent or grammar skills needed to even be allowed to take the campus tour at Reed College, much less to matriculate there.

God, you folks are funny!

Oh, U R SO ryte! Why, those of us with the guts to post under our own names can't hold a candle against the winds of the Reedies.

Feel free to crawl back into your hole and quietly feed upon our stupidity.

How do you get a Reed Grad off your porch?

Pay for the pizza and turn out the light.

Of course not! I am a community college student.

90% of Reed College kids were valedictorians at their school.

That means they were the smartest student at their high school.

Imagine that, "Jay" bird and crew!

Not only am I too stupid to go to Reed, but I'm also to religious.

Have fun with your book smarts anonymous. They won't do you any good in Hell.

And while we're on the subject of book smarts, care to share your IQ with the rest of us?

Wow...just means that the quality of education in our public schools must be THAT DAMN FRICKIN' PATHETIC!

Glad to be an Oregon Duck, Reed is the school that on our webbed feet they shall suck.
