So much money that they give it away!

Exceptional Performance Recognition Leave With Pay
It is the policy of the Department of Administrative Services to award up to 40 hours of Exceptional Performance Recognition leave per fiscal year to employees who do not qualify for overtime compensation but who merit being recognized for their extraordinary efforts, achievements or performance.

Paid time off is not just for "snow days" anymore! Wow! I'll just call this incentive the "kiss up to the boss so you can have a week off without using your vacation time, sick days, personal days, holidays, or, if Dianne Linn is your boss, the days that it snows" rule.
