I don't suppose they would let the American Family Association teach the class

Eugene Parent Urges Citizen Action Against Planned Parenthood In Eugene Schools
Something very disturbing is taking place at schools throughout the 4J School District. Beginning in 5th grade, Planned Parenthood is allowed to co-present the health education curriculum in the classroom.

Letter from a parent to The Oregon Conservative

Spencer Butte Middle School website confirms this.

The double standard: It never fails that anything that liberals don't agree with gets the label "controversial." Just look at recent newspaper articles talking about "controversial judicial nominees" or "controversial interogation techniques." But it would never occur to liberals that Planned Parenthood could be called a "controversial group" and that their placement in charge of educating children could be a "controversial move."

Oh come on, this isn't as bad as the OR Legislature appropriating $3 million for abortions for poor people. Help stop the scam by going to http://www.lifesupportoregon.org/index.htm

Dead fetus pictures vs. Planned Parenthood? Are we kidding? We all learned health without all these extremes! I personally would like abstinence educationa and anti-abortion education, but I understand this is public education. Good grief...

The schools website show it under the heading: 8th Grade Health
"Classes will be presented by community agencies including Planned Parenthood..."

It's about halfway down.

I agree with antideath though, the government has no bussiness giving tax money to baby killers. It is not a "constitutional right" that needs government support.

A more logical idea would be that government would buy guns for poor people because that right really is in the Consitution.
