*Update* Drug dealing illegal has INS hold

From the Clark County Jail Records Unit:

Mr. David Camarena-Delgado was booked into the Clark County Jail on 05/02/05 at 9:16 pm. He is being held on the following 2 charges:

* 1 count of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine
no bail authorized / return court date is 05/13/05

* 1 count of Misdemeanor Fugitive From Justice-
$20,000 bail authorized / return court date is 06/02/05

We (Clark County Prosecutor's Office) are charging David as a Fugitive from Justice because there is a warrant out of Marion County, Oregon- that is extraditable from the State of Washington. Currently, he is fighting extradition. Because a bail was set, David may post bail and be released on this specific charge. Please be advised that because NO BAIL status of the drug charge, David will NOT be released from custody upon receiving the bail on the Fugitive charge.

Currently, there is a "detainer" or "hold" placed on David by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency. This means that David would NOT be eligible for release from jail- if a release is generated, David will be transferred into Immigration's custody.

The illegal alien is fighting extradition back to Oregon. Nice. He broke the law to come to our state to sell meth and rape young girls but now he doesn't want to come back to face justice. Now that's a real man for ya.

There is a noticeable lack of a rape and child endangerment charges. The rape would be difficult to prove if the victim is uncooperative but I would think that having a 14 year old girl in a motel room with drugs is prima facie evidence of endangerment.
