Our fearless leader

Caption contest: (click picture to enlarge)

Actual caption from Kulongoski site:
Governor Kulongoski meets with Governor Juan Carlos Romero Hicks, Governor of Guanajuato, Mexico.

[EDIT] Ok, already getting the "how dare you call them rapists and drug dealers" comments. So I'll put this one up front:

The Mexican consul calls them rapists and the DEA calls them drug dealers.

Now does Juan Carlos look more like a typical drunken rapist that sells meth to your kids or a European elitists from Spain.

Looking through the county jail roster I can't find any by the last name of Hicks or Fox for that matter that are tagged Hispanic.

I have more respect for a white supremacist who is at least honest about the fact that he is a racist. You're a bottom-feeder, Daniel, posting a nasty piece of shit like that on your site while claiming that racism has nothing to do with it. Obviously, it has EVERYTHING to do with it. So every Latino worker who comes up here is a potential meth dealer and rapist? Is that how you see our neighbors to the south, Daniel? We're about to be overrun with brown hordes of drug dealers and rapists? Jesus! You're a real piece of work. A disgusting, dishonest, hypocritical, smarmy little right-wing pea-brained racist twerp.

Wow! All the adjectives. I need a lesson or two from that person there when I write on Jane and the pachulli oils blog.

Daniel,

Take a look at RinoWatch blog..what a riot that guy is. Not to mention right.

Anon 9:05, well I don't have respect for white supremacists. As for who is calling the Mexican citizens living in America rapists, that would be there representative, the Mexican consul.
See here

And who says that the drugs are coming from Mexico... hmmm, that would be the DEA!
See here

Apology accepted in advance anon.

Gee, Daniel, you must be right! All Mexicans who come to the U.S. are obviously rapists and drug-dealing scum. How foolish of me. What the hell was I thinking? In fact, I'll bet the Mexican consul is a meth-dealing rapist himself! How clever of him to hide in plain sight.

No apology is offered, but consider my middle finger extended.

By the way, you'd look better in that photograph with a brown shirt, if you know what I mean. ;-)

It's because people like Anonymous 9:05/10:38 are nothing more than force-neutered idiots who cannot seem to get it through their thick skulls that they are contributing to the crime that is inhabiting our state.

They're sad...coming here and showing how stupid they are. Especially when you have the ability to see their IP Addresses and find out where they live.

Sorry Anon, you're gonna be getting a visit.

Daniel,

We are all racists I guess? It doesn't matter if we are not white, it doesnt matter if or spouse is not white..it just doesn't matter. The little minds club say racist to blacks if they stand with us, orientals,(like last protest) or even hispanics. AMAZING.!!

I am called a racist when I am darker than most of the screamers. I have 7 black neices and nephews that I adore. One is half balck half hispanic. My brother is married to a Asian girl. And my daughter is engaged to GORGEOUS hispanic military man.

Yeah, that's me....racist

el razonador... I've searched numerous articles and have found nothnig to say that he isn't an illegal alien. If you know something we don't please provide a link.

How about "innocent until proven guilty"?

Well, Axe01 is the one who made the claim that he is, so why don't you ask him? But, since it's likely that you are Axe01 in disguise, someone who apparently equates Hispanic surname with illegal, maybe these links will clear up the dispute.

There's a number at the Minnesota Department of Corrections site. You could call and find out.

In the grand forks herald piece it states:

"Alfonso Rodriguez Sr., a farm laborer who left school after the third grade, moved his wife and children from Texas to Crookston in 1963. Dolores found work cooking at the University of Minnesota's campus there, and by 1972 she and her husband had saved enough to build a house in a new addition on the southern edge of town."

I'm not sure the credibility of the first link stating a U.S. nationality, but based on the news story, if Rodriguez's father was not from Texas, but rather from Mexico, it's likely that he came, as a farm worker, legally under the auspices of the Bracero Program, or authorized his status under IRCA.

Nonetheless, if he was unauthorized, you'd think someone would have latched onto that little tidbit and made it newsworthy, or that the Minnesota Department of Corrections would have had him deported after his first 20 year stint in jail.

I feel safe assuming that he's authorized if not native-born. But then again, Axe01 seemed so sure of himself. Why don't you ask him for his information?

Good post, Daniel. Keep using the facts and evidence to back up your argument, while the liberals use their emotions and name-calling.

Let's make sure we don't offend any criminals today! hahahahaha

el razonador... Looks like the first link was good enough. The rest really didn't confirm anything one way or the other. He appears to be an anchor baby of either illegal aliens, or a product of the Bracero Program.

This is a good reason to clarify the 14th Amendment of the Constitution. Children to illegal aliens or other guest in our country should not be getting citizenship just because their born here. This should be reserved for children of U.S. citizens only.

We've got to get this fixed before it kills us. Literally.

"We've got to get this fixed before it kills us. Literally."

You underestimate the apathy of the American public. Both in terms of motivation for the fixing and in willingness to be killed.
