OSU to dedicate La Raza Conference Room
Oregon State University will dedicate the La Raza Conference Room in the campus Memorial Union at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 29.
La raza is a Spanish term meaning the race or ethnic group, said Ines Ruiz-Huston, an OSU master's candidate from Portland.
But don't worry, George Bush thinks "La Raza" is just peachy.

"La Raza" (The Race) is a broad term which refers to those whose ancestry is indigenous to the area of Mexico (or "Aztlan"). MEChA members refer to themselves as "La Raza" or "Raza," but the term itself is used to indicate camaraderie among those in different organizations with the same objectives. There are a number of organizations who consider themselves to be La Raza.

And let them know how sick you are that they honor racism.
Racism in any form is unacceptable in this country and needs to be stopped before there is another civil war.
All races need to stand against La Raza and make it known that it is the Mexican KKK and nobody gets special rights.
This is America and we speak English, we solute the American flag and we honor this country.
You should be humbled to be in such a great nation and show it respect for allowing you the freedoms every human desires.
All Americans need to stand strong and demand that racism be stopped.
OSU can not be allowed to honor racism.
GEE WHIZ, bobkatt, and I thought they just came here to clean toilets....I told my wife we won't have to do it anymore and she's getting impatient. Apparently la raza IS doing a job Americans WON'T do......carrying on the ignoble tradition of racism.
