Kudos to ODFW

It's so nice when a government agency gets with the times. (No, DMV still does not accept debit cards) But ODFW now offers the Permit Goose testing ONLINE. (I am taking it tonight after the kids go down)

This really is a nice conveniance that will save hunter's some time and ODFW some money, money that can instead go towards wildlife management.

On that subject, quick question for you tree hugging libs: Who has done more for wetlands conservation?

a) Ducks Unlimited
b) Tre Arrow

I know! I know!, but since I'm a tree cutter and a murderer of delicious furry animals, I can't steal the thunder of our lefty "friends."

Daniel-

Will you host an Immigration forum in the hillsboro area??? I want to know where the candidates for state and local races stand on this issue. Because this issue relates to everything i think that it is important to have a setting to hear what the candidates think!

Anonymous, I would definitely encourage you to sign up with OFIR.

http://oregonir.org

If immigration is your issue then they have a great endorsement list based on voting record and questionaire answers. There will be another OFIR meeting in November I believe.

Daniel,
Such a simple mind, you have. You are comparing apples and oranges. Tre Arrow is a single individual and Ducks Unlimited is an international organization. It is like comparing you as a lowlife drug dealer with a Columbian Drug Cartel. Who has made the most money in the drug trade out of Daniel Miglavs and the Cali Drug Cartel?

hey, roger, I guess we can stop calling you wackos on the loony left "tree huggers," and just start referring to you as "knotheads." To make it easy for you, kid, what has that whole bunch of eco-terrorists and their enablers done to actually put wings over water? I know that one, too.....nothing. Their gig is destruction and anarchy. Go ask tre....on visiting day, of course.

Ok, who has done more for wetlands: Greenpeace or Ducks Unlimited?

who more than who is not the question. we all are working to inprove our lives and that of wildlife. that takes tax dollars to oversee the process. I thought you of all people were against taxes??

I'm not against taxes. Some of them do fun worthy programs. I'm just against my taxes being used for illegals or any other shiftless lay about that wants a free handout. I'm againt my tax dollars subsidising low income rent for "farm workers" when the real reason they are getting it is because they are are here illegaly. Example two is right here on this very blog. Our gas tax providing ODOT funds to make videos for the same group of illegal immigrants and they don't even understand the videos. And I'm sure Daneil,Rick, Bear, and other could provides more examples. Nuff said. I pay my taxes but I'd like a little more say I'm where they go

anon 10:20, you (and many others) get it. Doublespeak and hiding actual purposes in order to cover criminal behavior and outright waste are standard practice in Oregon government. There are now more planners in this state than police. Ted the knothead wants to eliminate the State Police altogether! BTW, anon 7:41, the state is now trying to figure out how to eliminate THOUSANDS of cougars, due to the demented meddling of the feel good liberals. tre arrow and his buddies can't help with that problem due to the fact that vegetarian is another way of saying lousy hunter. More taxes can't fix stupid......sheesh.

Hey, Bear: What do you think about using tre arrow and his buddie-pals as bait for hunting cougars?

No, that wouldn't work. Cougars are fussier than that about their food.
