Stop accepting the Matricula!

Kulongoski whines about Saxton rightly accusing him of aiding illegal aliens in getting drivers licenses. But whining is all that Kulongoski will do.

DMV still accepts the Mexican and Guatemalan consular cards as primary ID.

Keep in mind that the Oregon notary will not accept a Mexican consular card because they know that it is not a secure or reliable form of ID.

The Saxton ad

(and not to brag or anything but Google puts me at number one for a search of 'Saxton ad')

Kulongowski says it's not his fault because he's not working the DMV counter...

So I guess that by his logic, Iraq can't be blamed on Bush or Rumsfeld, since they're not the ones fighting on the frontlines.

Talk about a joke. Kulongowski is no leader, he's not even a good manager! If I worked for the DMV I'd be pissed! (of course, if I worked for the DMV I sure as hell wouldn't give any licenses to illegals, either)...

Teddy can't defend himself right now as he is bathing the dog, again.

The Mrs. said the first bath wasn't good enough, but not to worry as he is accustomed to complaints.

When the Federal Real ID act passed over 2 years ago, Ted could have made an Executive order, for our ID security, to comply immediately. (or replaced Youngs with someone that would)
He did NOT & Will not.

Also Ted could have asked/requested that all State Agenices use the Basic Pilot Program to assure that OUR Tax monies were not paying Illegal Aliens State workers.
He has NOT & will not.

Saxton WILL do this and more.

Rick:

You need to send Tom Peterson down to Teddy Kulongoski's office and wake him up. Teddy was asleep when the REAL ID Act passed two years ago. Any governor whose interest is in the noncitizens and ignoring the good legal citizens of our state should be voted out of the Governor's mansion.

Bjdorr, that's funny. I can see Tom going "Wake up" "Wake up", from when I had to watch Portland TV many years ago (living in Tumalo no satellite or cable). Does he still have those commercials?

Mike w/Miunteman and I spent 2 hours this week at the phone banks for Ron Saxton.
I hope other supporters are calling or putting up signs.

From Daniel's 2004 appeal:

"Finally, the police executed a search warrant at defendant's residence in December 1999 and seized evidence that led to defendant being charged separately with seven other weapon and drug-related crimes. Defendant moved to suppress that evidence as well, and the trial court denied that motion."

A timeline?

Daniel, the beacon of personal reponsibility serves exactly zero days in prison for his crimes stemming from December 1999, yet claims to have paid his debt to society. How, exactly?

Februrary 2003 - Daniel wastes your and my tax dollars to pay for court costs arguing that he was unjustly arrested. DENIED.

May 2004 - Daniel appeals AGAIN. DENIED.

Daniel, I want my money back. Hypocrite!

But Ronny Saxton hired illegal aliens and that is OK.

Saxton ads fuel scrutiny of farm's labor
Immigration - Attacks on Gov. Ted Kulongoski over illegal migrants draw attention to the GOP hopeful's past

HARRY ESTEVE and ALEX PULASKI
The Republican candidate for governor, Ron Saxton, has run ads saying illegal immigrants are "pouring in" to Oregon and criticizing Democratic Gov. Ted Kulongoski for his handling of the issue.

But Saxton, who was part owner of a farm near Salem until about 2000, acknowledges that he used migrant workers on his farm and that he can't say for sure whether some of them were undocumented.

In a September interview with The Oregonian, Saxton responded, "I don't know," when asked whether illegal immigrants worked on the farm. Illegal immigration wasn't such a big issue in the 1990s, he said. ...Continue

We know Ron, it is just an issue when you need to lie to get the OFIR and Minutemen vote. Disturbing how Ron Saxton is everything to everybody. One more reason I will be voting for Starrett.

I live in Yamhill County and if I want a Washington County library card I need to pay a $70.00 annual fee. Yet, an illegal alien may obtain a card using a Matricular Card.

This is unfair and another example of "hispandering".

Chris, you obviously don't know about LaVar Jefferies the DMV employee that was fired by Sleepy Ted's minion Lorna Young head of Oregon DMV for doing his job and not giving a license to a ring of illegal aliens.
These local officials like the mayor of Springfield Sid Leiken complain that there is nothing they can do because it is a federal problem are on the other side. They create this climate of acceptance that fuels this invasion. When push comes to shove these appeasers are as much of a part of the problem as the overt open border crowd. In the sixties vernacular, if you're not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. They all have to go away.

You're right, I didn't know about that. Just adds more fuel to the argument that Ted is either lying about his control or is just too lazy to use it.

Bobkatt

Give me a break and quit screaming fire in a crowded theatre. Read the ORS and then have Speaker Minnis and Wayne Scott change it. When finished, make sure the state and the fed's supply the cities with the money to enforce and then no problem. I know you have the ability to be a one issue focus individual and that is great but I don't have the luxory.

Don't worry I only have 2 years left on my term and then you will be rid of me as mayor. Don't forget though, under my time as mayor we have seen over $1 billion of new investment and over the next 10 years we will have created 10,000 new jobs that require high skill level.

If I ever decide to run for a state or federal office you will know my actual position.

Sid Leiken
Mayor, Springfield who has never met Bobkatt to the best of knowledge. I look forward to maybe meeting you face to face instead of over a blog network.
