Pictures the capitol

A real force to be reckoned with, a man with a passion for the issue of illegal immigration and someone that I consider a friend: Rick Hickey (VP of OFIR)

The media can't ignore us anymore:

And uh, this is for those of you who came here illegaly from Mexico and need a little help understanding the geography...

(I'm just picture happy lately, I can't help it)

Many more pictures can be found at (frequent commentor) bjdorr's site

I have some additional OFIR rally photos at www.bjdorr.com

It was a good turn-out considering the bitter cold wind and with knowing a good many plan to speak with their ballot.

Wow, looks like there are about 20 people there?
"Speak with their ballot." Just keep telling yourself that.

Thanks for pointing out the additional photos. Sorry I couldn't make it. (damn my gainful employment...)

It was a fabulous gathering of like-minded folks. It was cold particularly in the shade where the podium was. I was dressed for it, but many speakers came dressed in just a business suit and I’m sure they were freezing. They should know, I appreciate them being there in spite of the cold.

On the other hand, there was supposed to be a massive amount of pro-illegal alien folks there protesting OFIR and law abiding citizens in general. I didn’t see one (uno). That’s right, not one.

Over all it was a great day for those of us that want to curb Illegal Immigration.

I too have voiced my opinion with my ballot.

Anon 7:51 – That means I voted!

Have a nice day :)

"There were supposed to be a massive amount of pro-illegal alien folks there?"

Huh. Where did you hear that? Maybe you made it up?

The OFIR event didn't even have a blurb on portland.indymedia.org. Nonetheless, the OFIR event wasn't even on Portland Indymedia's calendar. It was announced by OFIR over a week ago.

Greg's right, there were no pro-illegal immigrant protestors present. It was a real pleasure to meet and chat with Jim, Rick, and Lars.

Thenorm said there were way more then 20 people. I will agree the turn out was great considering the cold. I'm guesing at leat 70 to 90 people.

Yes ... we have to work at it to get 20 people there ... we all work for a living and have our own lives to live.

Getting a big crowd of "anarchists" together is easy ... they don't have jobs ( or good jobs ), and they have little individuality ... they will show up to act stupid and fuck things up just because some socialist said it was cool.

Ha! Classic. A big crowd of anarchists. So funny.
So you guys all have jobs? How is you sit around on this blog all day long?

Out of the 20+/- that showed, Ron Saxton was nowhere to be seen. The champion to fight illegal immigration couldn't make it down for an event on a topic he has made part of his platform? Odd. Mary Starrett was there. Why not Saxton?

Seems Saxton loves being a RINO Demoncat so much he will only be seen with Gov. Tax-n-gouge-me. At this point Mary deserves an "A" for attendance and will get my vote, as well, for Governor. Ron Saxton is too cowardly and certainly too damn liberal to get my vote.

Gov. Ted wasn't at the rally. He wasn't even in his office upstairs inside the building behind the rally (I checked)! Probably off somewhere taking a nap.

Not everyone has a Monday through Friday nine-to-five job. Some of us are off on the weekdays.

Actually, he was here at the UofO speaking to us.

Statesman-Journal, usually a low counter of us, said over 200 attended.

THANK YOU to ALL for coming.

We knew Ron Saxton would be in Eastern Oregon, speaking to the rest of Oregon and did not need to come Preach to the Choir.
Ted K. spent that whole 4 hours at another local College? preaching to the young and naive, his Choir? Sounds desperate to me.

We were also on CH# 2 & 8 BOTH News spots, last night. And today Front Page, S/J Local and Mr. Ludwick did a Q & A via the S/J today @ noon.

WOW, The Media is Finally addressing this important issue, like they are running for Office too? (or maybe that %7 DROP in readers, has scared them to wake up).

Tomorrow 7:30-9 am KBOO Radio 90.7 FM, LIVE Debate, tune in.

Victoria Taft tonight and Willamette Weekly soon!

The PEOPLE ARE SPEAKING!

CHANGE IS HAPPENING!

almost Forgot!

WSJ/Zogby has Ron & TED within 1%!

NO MORE TED...NO MORE TED...NO MORE TED...

AKA, people who actually study politics. Naive...

Saxton hasn't made it to ANY OFIR rallies. There were many other times on Saturday that he was sitting at his house twiddling his weener. That is a lib 4 ya.

It'll be nice to see Ron as Governor, and it's looking good for Erikson defeating Darlene "Do Nothing" Hooley. Sweet!

We have other ways of supporting anti-illegal immigration. Many of us have to work (like Daniel) on Monday, but for those of us who had a day off from work on Monday attended, as I did. I give support through donations, letters to elected officials or newspapers, or attending rallys (if possible). By the way, no counter-protester showed up.

Mike, cut the crap. If this is such a big joke to you, then why are you on the site? Surely you must have so much to do other than waste your time on a joke. Oops, I guess not. Loser.
