Where is the sign located?

Daniel said...

Salem. I will get the exact street for you.

OFIR -

New sign? Public awarness campaign! Excellent!

[unfortunatly "tagging" will begin in 5...4...3...]

As a totaly OT afterthought: With so many posters being "anonymous", it sure makes it hard to "know" who I'm talking to.
C'mon...it's easy: make up some stupid nic, like I did, at least the reader will be able to imagin a "personality" behind what is being said, and know who to answer.
All ya gotta do is click the choice "Other", type in a name and...viola !
Anyway, that's my un-asked for and sure-to-be-ignored suggestion, but it would make it more fun, besides you've probably already said some thing stupid so, what the hell, eh?

Thank you.
/sits down quietly

OFIR has whatever citizens contribute to it. I would highly encourage all of you to use the link that I provide on my sidebar to donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can afford. You will see the results of your donation!

RE: Mullets comment
I allow anonymous posting to increase participation but strongly recommend that people come up with a nickname so we can see a pattern of your comments and know who we are talking to. Take the extra two seconds guys.

M.M.:"Wow, that billboard has made me want to fight the flow of illegal immigration. Good work comrades, can we go hunting and listen to Nugent yet? Oh also, if I join your group do I have to be irrational and ignorant or is that just a common trait?"

Hiya, Mickey!

"...it would make it more fun, besides you've probably already said some thing stupid so, what the hell, eh?"

I rest my case.

I'll have to check it out Monday. Need a sign in Cornelius, Hillsboro, and Woodburn.

Anonymous said...

Michael Mayhemington my lad, you already possess
the character traits you mentioned; oh and after visiting your blog, you might add full of himself, so much so that you should consider changing the color of your photo graphic from red to brown...

Anonymous said...

Yeah, come'on everybody, lets have a huge anti-immigrant circle jerk at the Capitol so all of Oregon can see how so few numbers OFIR/Minuteklan can muster. Anyways, good to see Bruce the KKK Barber crawled out from under his rock. Anytime he can get all the rednecks to come down to his trailer so they can bink his dog he wakes up. Go figure.

Yeah that sign is a real big motivator. Signs like this are a weak attempt to make an organization look bigger than it is. Look, Hickey loses OFIR more supporters with his big mouth than they gain. I suspect a sign like this might offset the loss, but hey, nice try.

davidhamilton said...

I'm with I-invented-the-mullet. I like the sign, but I woouldn't be a bit surprised if it acquired some graffiti soon.

MAX Redline said...

I don't understand why they chose a Monday for this shindig. I mean, it's nice that Lars wil be there and all, but most of us have to work. It's not like Teddy's going to come out and say "hi", so it seems that in terms of drawing sheer numbers to the event, it would have been better to hold it on a Saturday.

By the way, Mayhem - I'd LOVE to go hunting with you! Although I must say that, judging from your photo, you look an awful lot like a quail....

Daniel said...

Do you hunt Max? Cause I'm looking for someone to go to Sauvie with for ducks...

And of course Mayhem is invited, that would make for some interesting coversation.

Anonymous said...

Thank you to all donors of the cause.
Sorry about a Monday but we wanted the event to be on statewide radio and the Capitol open.

We were hoping that some Employers would allow their non Illegal immigrant workers to have some time off to go to a Rally for a change.

If you can't make it please listen to Lars (not in radio range? go to www.kxl.com)

I have arranged Experts to call in to include;

Col. Al Rodriguez, Founder of "You don't speak for me" A group of Hispanic-Americans that understand the difference between immigration and Illegal Aliens.

Sheriff John Trumbo of Umatilla County. He sent a bill to Mexico for the costs of Jailing Illegal Aliens. 2 were recently given life in Prison, he said that alone will cost us over $2 Million and another Homocide by an Illegal just happened.

Dr. Rosalie Porter, Author "Forked Tongue-the Politics of Bi-Lingual education". For over 25 years she has taught mostly Spanish speaking Students wioth Immersion, successfully in 1 or 2 years. She also worked for the U.S. State dept. for language acquisition.

Glenn Spencer of Amwerican Patrol.
He flew the 1st U.A.V. over the southern Border and now flies a plane with I.R./Nightvision to help the Border Patrol. his website with over 17 million hits, has news reports from all over on illegal immigration.

BILLBOARD is at the N.W. corner of Lancaster & Market in Salem next to Skippers restaurant.

Donate with plastic on website as next goal is Billboard in Portland off I-5.

Within 1st hour of sign going up, calls were already coming in.

See you Monday!

"Rick Hickey told me it is located in the parking lot of (believe it or not- IRONICALLY) a Mexican restaurant. HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA. I LOVE IT.....right under their illegal noses!!!!."

I'm just a little concerned that there are some people associated with OFIR who are a little bit racist (but I'm not pointing fingers).

Anonymous said...

You guys seem like a bunch of pussies - what the hell are you so scared of? Oh no! Brown people are coming!!!!! Better get out there and, er...protest?
Classic dumb-ass crazy conservative crap. Have fun at your little "rally." What time is Hitler gonna get there?

Anonymous said...

The brown people & legal immigrants from all over of OFIR, think people that associate illegal immigration only with hispanics and say OFIR members are friends of Hitler are really hurtful to the many brown people & legal immigrants that are proud to be an American, legally.
Amazing how only white communists are the ones that fight (Gilchrist Columbia U.) and use Bullhorns and throw rocks and spit (day labor protests) and throw frozen cans of soda at little old ladies (rally in Ca. last year)and demand rights that legal immigrants do not have, YET they call people that want a secure border, irrational or ignorant.
Illegal immigration is not a race, it is a law.
Thank God for OFIR & Daniel.

Bryan & Mike & others that still don't understand, you could just move to Mexico and actually help, be a part of the solution not the problem, you know?

Anonymous said...

Hey, you didn't answer my question! What time is Hitler showing up???

Anonymous said...

That's quite moving, "Thank God for OFIR & Daniel." Let me wipe the tear away from my eye, I'm just feeling so darned emotional after reading you comment...

davidhamilton said...

Anonymous 1 and Anonymous 2, why don't you pick a moniker and sign your comments? Would that be too frightening for you?

Anonymous said...

With the skinheads on this blog? You're damn right it's too scary!!!!!!!!!!

Bryan said...

Thank you, anon 4:10, for making yet another round of overgeneralized accusations without addressing the content of the comments left.

Anyway, I know this is a complete tangent, but I would like to know the specifics of Daniel's stance on guest workers (I know he is opposed to it, but I don't have "why" yet).

Anonymous said...

I find it quite ironic that ya'll are planning to vote for Saxton - the man housed illegal workers on his "cherry farm" for years.

What makes you excited about a candidate who goes against the very issue that seems to be the most important to you?

Anonymous said...

If Ron Saxton makes ideas in his campaign, then does an about-face, we'll just recall him like California did with governor Gray Davis.

Did anyone see this morning's (28 Oct.) fishwrap Metro section with Kulongoski has no sides on driver licenses for illegal immigrants? After all, he was asked this question on a Spanish radio in Woodburn, Mexico--er--Oregon.

Daniel said...

"Classic dumb-ass crazy conservative crap."

Yes us conservatives and our belief in the rule of law and all that nonsense. Have you guys come up with a real counter-argument or are you just going to continue to call us racists and skin heads? MAX Redline said...

did max redline just threaten my life?

Mayhem, you're even more self-aggrandizing than I'd given you credit for being. You're a freakin' nutcase.

On the off-chance that your short-term memory has been destroyed, let me fill you in, sonny:

You said:

Good work comrades, can we go hunting and listen to Nugent yet?

I simply noted that I'd love to go hunting with you. I also mentioned that you kinda look like a quail.

Hardly a threat upon your life. Although as you've amply demonstrated, leftist dorks will automatically choose any interpretation of remarks that allows them to portray themselves as aggrieved.

Daniel: I apologize for any miscommunication. I have gone hunting and fishing with folks, but in general, it seems not to be a good idea for me. I've found that many people are great at hunting. They're just not so good at finding. Many are good at fishing - but not so good at catching.

I prefer to find or catch, then kill and eat. I also prefer not to spend an entire day in the process.

I'd make an exception in Mayhem's case, simply because watching him stumble around in the woods would be so entertaining. Actually, I'd enjoy a fly-fishing trip with him as well - so long as we were separated by a good distance. Seeing him hook himself on the back-cast, then subsequently dumping himself into the river - well, for sure it'd mess up the fishing in the area, but I think the humor would make up for that.

Bryan said...

A) I didn't say all are racist. I'm not even saying some are racist. I'm just saying SOME may have racist tendencies.

B) Just because your wife is Latino, it doesn't mean you're not racist. It just means your wife is latino.

C) I have many reasons why we should either not be so concerned about illegal immigration or increase guest worker programs, but I'm saving that for a relevent post (which is why I'd be interested in seeing a post on guest workers).

Daniel said...

"B) Just because your wife is Latino, it doesn't mean you're not racist. It just means your wife is latino."

You are absolutely right. That's what's so great about the racist charge: it can't be disproved!

Racism is something that is in your heart. Racist people do exist but that's not what this is about. To cry "racist" every time someone takes a position that you disagree with (I'm not saying that you do this Bryan) is absurd and most of the time I don't bother acknowleging the charge anymore because it's pointless.

Me: My position is X and here is why...

Liberal: You're a racist!

Me: And your position is? And why?

Anonymous said...

My postion is that there is something wrong with you mentally -not because you're a racist (which I believe you are, but you're not as bad as others)but because there is so much fear in your writings.
I think it's silly for people who's ancestors came to the united states and took the land from the indians to say that this is their God given country. Were you really here "first" or did your ancestors also come here illegally? I mean let's all be honest with ourselves. Unless you're an American indian you really can't pretend this is your rightful country.
The most telling point of 99% of the posts and comments on this blog is the fear you are all feeling of people coming into your land and taking your jobs and services. This is America people, whatever happened to "give us your tired, your poor - your huddled masses yearning to be free?"
Seriously, how do you think your great grandparents got here and why do think they sought this country out?
You should be proud that people want to come here instead of going to rallies telling people they can no longer come to America, because in your view the country no longer stand for the very principles it was founded upon.

davidhamilton said...

shane: It isn't true that this nation was founded on a principle of "y'all come on in!" For at least the years 1924 - 1965 the immigration policy was quite selective, one of the main concerns being that the immigrant not become a financial burden on the public. Other concerns were (and are) not having been convicted of serious crimes and not being diseased. Of course illegals avoid this screening process. Yet another concern was simply limiting the numbers so that this country does not start looking like part of Asia, Africa or Latin America.

For many Latinos and their white leftist admirers, racial solidarity trumps every other consideration. And yet they have the chutzpa to accuse the whites of racism.

Anonymous said...

I said the principles that this country was founded upon, not what happened between the years 1924 and 1965.

Liberal white admirers? What the heck is that supposed to mean?

Anonymous said...

"Not being diseased?"
You do realize you're talking about human beings and not cattle, right?
If you're read Shane's post you would know that he didn't say anything about the years you're talking about, he said the founding principles of our nations - it's a little different that a few years that you pull out of your ass to make a non-point.

Daniel said...

Shane:

It would seem that you advocate for completely open borders with no regulation of who comes across. (as opposed to our current laws)

So why do we have any limits or regulations about immigration if it's contradictory to what our nation was founded on?

Because it's safe, smart and fair.

What's not fair is too let (mostly) one country (Mexico) enjoy the fruits of it's neighbor simply because of geographic location. What about people from India? Or Latvia? They don't get the same chance to come here under the "as long as you can walk here you are welcome" immigration plan.

I also think that you have to be concious of who you let in just like you are concious of who comes into your house. People who feel more loyalty to the country that they left behind (which is absurd, they voted for the better country with their feet) should not be here. If you come here it should be because you want to become an American, not just enjoy the spoils of our economic and social freedom.

Anonymous said...

I'm not advocating for completely open borders, and our founding fathers never advocated for that either. C'mon, you know that. When you say thing like that it weakens your argument.
I wrote earlier, what ever happened to "give us your tired your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free?" and I still haven't got an answer. At least the concept is still with us, no? If not, what does America stand for anymore?

It's ridiculous that someone would feel loyal to their homeland? Wouldn't you? Or would you be able to turn those feelings off? You need to learn about empathy - it's the ability to, at the very least, be able to imagine what it would be like to walk in someone else's shoes.
It kinda seems like you don't really give a crap about anybody but yourself.

Anonymous said...

Personaly I think there is a stigma behind taking a stand on the immigration isssue. In fact I know there is because after I joined Daniel and the people from OFIR at the Woodburn protest, peoples view of me changed. I know every cop in woodburn and am on a friendly first name basis, and now some of them won't even acknowledge me. Someone found my cell number and I received 15 or so phone calls in the following two weeks telling me I was racist and to get out of Woodburn. So because I have a political opinion I'm a racist and I think that's why you don't see more people come to the protests and stand up for what they believe. I know there are many more then what show up at the ralleys and protests and the billboard proves it. That's not done by the few. Its done by the many many contributers in support of stopping the flow of illegal immigrants be it from mexico, canada or any other country.

Anonymous said...

anon 10:59- Yes the law breakers and their profiteers have made it a stigma to speak out, with their blatant lies of racism.
glad you do not fall for it.

Bryan said...

Ok, so explain Bruce's comment.

Also...

"What's not fair is too let (mostly) one country (Mexico) enjoy the fruits of it's neighbor simply because of geographic location. What about people from India? Or Latvia? They don't get the same chance to come here under the "as long as you can walk here you are welcome" immigration plan."

Let Mexico enjoy the fruits of our labor? Have you heard of NAFTA? If so, you would know that it's been the United States who's been screwing Mexico. But that's ok, as long as the US' interest are kept in tact...

Also, I seem to recall you ripping other countries for bringing immigrants here.

Anonymous said...

Of course there's a stigma. The U.S. is the supposed to be the "land of immigrants."
I'm embarrassed to share this country with people like you.

Anonymous said...

What we see today in the USA is the product of ethnic cleansing on the part of Mexico's elite.

The Illegal Immigrants we see are not Mexico's best and brightest. Not even close.

Wouldn't we love to dump our welfare class on Mexico?

Yes, IQ is hereditary.

Great to see the OFIR Billboard Up!

It is also great to see the emotion in this thread.

When immigrants landed on Ellis Island, the gates were not thrown open and the folks allowed to pass freely without documentation. It was and still is the law. Its not a Republican law or a Democratic law. It is the law of this country.

We that wish to stop Illegal Immigration are the same as people that want to stop murder, rape and robbery. Laws are being broken en masse and we would like it stopped.

The solution is not to change the law so that what is now considered illegal would then be legal, but to strongly enforce the existing law.

You wouldn’t change the laws regarding rape to make it legal just because rape is a problem as long as its illegal.

Through spirited exchange of intellectual discourse comes resolution.

A) First, I don't think and are not assuming you are racist but...

B) "...a Mexican restaurant. HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA,HA. I LOVE IT.....right under their illegal noses!!!!." You make some pretty strong implications. One may assume that you beleive all Mexican immigrants are illegal and should be deported.

Funny, have you ever been to an OFIR meeting? They've set a new standard for inbred.

I've read them all ... and will remain Anon... I agree with the members of OFIR; your reasoning is sound and your concern is valid. I will support you, and advocate family and friends do the same.

Illegal immigration is detrimental to our society; it's time that was acknowledged and seriously acted upon.

Those of you headed to Salem tomorrow - be good, you're speaking for the majority.

I think that shows quite a bit of intent. You can't talk your way out of a crime, you should know that you law loving conservative you, come on.

Two problems there, Mikey m'boy:

(1) "I think" - this is clearly an oxymoron (no worries; you can look up the word).

(2) I'm not trying to talk my way out of a crime, as I have committed none. You're simply demonstrating once again that you're a self-absorbed nutcase.

"By the way, Mayhem - I'd LOVE to go hunting with you! Although I must say that, judging from your photo, you look an awful lot like a quail.... "

So explain that last part about looking like a quail.

MAX Redline said...

Bryan, have you forgot so soon?

Cheney had a gun. went huntin' with someone.

To refresh what passes for your memory, he shot his partner rather than a passing quail. This required removing some birdshot from his partner, who was seventy-plus years old. Not a life-threatening set of injuries, but generally embarrassing all around.

Leftists like you and your buddy Mikey are so humorless that, to me anyway, it's amusing.

Good golly, I mention that he sort of looks like a quail. Suddenly, you dorks come out of the woodwork and claim I'm threatening his life. Cheney's buddy did okay, at pretty much point-blank range. Get a grip - well, okay, I know you folks can't really do that. Sorry, my bad on that.

So get a life! Oh, sorry again - you folks can't do that either.

Is there anything that yo can do? Other than whine, I mean?

Bryan said...

But he still shot his partner. And it doesn't detract from the fact that you implied that you might shoot mike. Go ahead and try to talk your way out of it. I mean, I seriously doubt mike is going to attempt to take any sort of legal action, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm pretty sure I've only lived half as long as you have, and have had more of a "life" than you ever will. But whatever.

MAX Redline said...

Are you still talking law breaker?

Long as you keep whining, then yes.

But he still shot his partner. And it doesn't detract from the fact that you implied that you might shoot mike.

Oooh! So if you and Mikey decide that you don't like what I say, you figure you can make an issue of it?

It doesn't work that way.

You chose to decide that I implied something.

You're both weenies. That's not an "implied" statement, little boys. That's a direct statement of fact, as I view the facts as presented in your statements.

So sue me.

Oh, this would be great! I'd like nothing better than to get your buns seated in a court of law. It seems clear that neither you nor Mikey have any significant understanding of jurisprudence in the USA, but I'll be happy to help you learn.

Bryan said...

"I'd like nothing better than to get your buns seated in a court of law."
