Real supporters don't hide

Hmmmm, which side to you think the majority of Americans identify with:

1. The people holding American flags and supporting the law or

2. The folks wearing bandanas over their faces to hide their identity

I would also contend that is says something about your position if you aren't willing to be identified publicly supporting it. I'm sure that some of you cowards consider yourselves true believers but the masks show how much pride you have in your cause... about the same amount of "Mexican pride" that citizens of that country show by abandoning their country in droves!

If you guys want to come protest us then by all means do so. But if you are worried that mom and dad are going to kick you out of the basement when then find pictures of you protesting in favor of illegal aliens when you told them you were out looking for a job then maybe you should stay away.

These clowns hide their faces because they are so "proud" of themselves and what they stand for that they really do not want public recognition. Someone might recognize them and remember that they had seen their picture on the wall at the Post Office. They are trying to be just like the fanatics in Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Syria, and elsewhere. The fanatics in these countries are their heroes and our radical fanatics are doing all they can to emulate them, except our nut cases haven't got several pounds of C-4 strapped on like the nut cases in the Middle East ---- yet.
How long before that happens is anybody's guess. But don't be surprised when it happens.

Daniel, there is a story from FGNT that I haven't seen anywhere else. Look at the last comment: the reader is asking the question you know answer to.
Considering other stories in FGNT regarding gang activities, graffiti, and our schools being bi-lingual, I wonder if the last safety levy failed because voters' apathy that made them "stay home" was caused by latinification of our area.

Yeah, I identify with the racists from OFIR and the Minutekkklan.

But really, taking your logic into account, why can't OFIR seem to muster the thousands they say are with them on this issue. Even on the weekend they can't get more than 40 people. Why? Because no Oregonian would ever want to be caught dead stacking up with a bunch of racists.

One need not look any further than Polish Bigot's comment. Although he is probably just drunk again, his scapegoating "latinification" comment looks suspicious. He must have learned alot from German History Class

As for the "folks" holding American flags "supporting the law", what do you have to say about the many of the OFIR members that have been identified by name that have criminal histories. Besides the host of this blog, you would be surprised how many DUIIs, domestic violence and public drunkiness charges OFIR members have. Like Johnny says, "GO CHECK IT OUT!"

Well too chicken to leave a name.... The reason that I am unable to show up is that I have to work. I don't know about you, but I need to make sure that I pay my taxes for the illegals here so that they can get their anchors thru school. Oh and not to mention the poor little girl that can't become a doctor (front page, daily dead fish wrapper). I'm not "anti-immigrant". I just want people to "sign" the book on the way across the border. What is so wrong with that???????

We can't have constructive discussion of this issue if call each other names.

I mentioned "latinification" because even Liberals I know have expressed reservation about what is happening to public schools in Forest Grove. I am lucky enough to be able to afford private schools for my children (although I think most people would be able to if they changed their priorities) but many Liberals, convinced that the right thing to do is to send their precious ones to public schools they so much believe in, say in private they would prefer if those schools didn't cater so much to a minority.

If you actually read the articles I mentioned, you would understand why some of us are concerned. It is one thing to accept the price we pay for living in a free society; it's quite another to pay for something we didn't ask for.

The country has changed a lot since I came here 19 years ago as a LEGAL immigrant. If nothing is done about what's happening I will have no choice but to protect my family and move away.

As far as drinking is concerned, most of the names of drinking-while-driving in Forest Grove and Cornelius are Latin. At least I know where and when to drink.

Yes, the unwashed and unshaven crawled out from under their cardboard tent and whined about the mayor supporting even lower wages with a flood of glad to be paid anything illegals being encouraged even more.
They actually support Potter, that tells you the intelligence level of the "Everbody is welcome in Oregon" crowd.

But if you are worried that mom and dad are going to kick you out of the basement when then find pictures of you protesting ...

That's one possibility. Another possibility is that these are people who, unlike yourself, have the intelligence and foresight to see that the American political establishment is setting up the scaffolding of a police state, and they'd prefer to not have their faces known to authorities.

People with that level of intelligence might ask, too, what it is about capitalism at this stage of its development that forces so many adults to do just that -- live with their parents. I don't, but a hell of a lot of people do, more than ever before in U.S. history, and they can't all be anti-American anarchists. What's going on here? Is this the sign of a healthy economic system?

Of course, you're entitled to your ignorance, and your fantasies ...

It is so very interesting how European immigrants want to shut the door to anyone that isn't a white anglo saxon protestant. They complain about the decline of society because of minorities. And that is not racism? You should examine your mind.

BTW: "Polish Immigrant", so what job did you steal from an American?

Crap, you've finally pinned us anti-border liberals as cowards and "traiters". But on the other hand,

quick, look over there, 9/11. Anyone who supports undocumented immigrants supports 9/11

wait, wait, look over there, the latinos are moving in. Their culture is different than ours.

Whew, that was close, I almost had to talk about an issue of human decency and compassion for a moment. We're no minutemen when it comes to issue-obscuring, but goddamnit, we're gonna give it our all.

All of you've got it wrong. The people had scarves covering their faces because Oregonians Against Immigrants and the OR/WA Minuteklansmen smell so bad. They should take up a collection to not only take some some english classes to learn how to spell simple words like "traitor" and "illegal", but to buy some soap.

So funny that they were outnumbered 2-1. Great video: http://www.katu.com/news/local/8095762.html?video=YHI&t=a

You are making a lot of inferences from my comments. I didn't say I didn't want (legal) immigration from Latin America. I had to go through all kinds of checks before coming here. Those checks, in theory, would prevent most bad element from coming here. Tell me why it is that most gangs in the US are Hispanic? Do you need votes so badly that you will accept just anybody? As far as immigrants from Europe are concerned, most of them would be Democrats, as it has been the history, so I'd rather stop all of them, not just Latinos. But there is a difference between just stupid (immigrants voting for Democrats) and dangerous.
I came here with only high-school education and put myself through college with no help from any Democrat politicians. I've earned my job; not stolen it from anybody.

Anon 10:48- I happen to agree with your assessment that the government is rapidly moving to become a police state. However you don't seem to see the invasion of 20-30 million as the catalyst that is the pretext for the implementation of marshal law. By constantly refusing to enforce our laws, jailing border guards for doing their duty, allowing drugs to flow almost uninterrupted, devastating our economy and Mexico's they are creating a powder keg that almost guarantees civil unrest that the president, with directive 51, has said gives him the power to suspend the constitution and assume all federal, state, local and territorial control. The camps have been built and are ready for occupants. The only ignorance involved is that you can't see your contribution to the problem.

PI--
Are you assuming that gang members are in this country illegally? Gang banger/meth dealer Daniel Miglavs wasn't in this country illegally--he is a citizen. What about Russian, Asian, and Jamaican gang members? Many of them come into this country as immigrants and overstay visas and/or jump the border.

As for your comment on European Democrats, I suspect you might be the only European whom I have ever heard that is part of the "know-nothing" party. Could be the alcohol that you have consumed over the years that has made you a little backwards. Or maybe you were just picked on and/or abused when you were young. Still the same, the fact that you came to the U.S. and stole an American job makes you no better than those you hate.

You know, I was looking at that picture for a while and I think I finally realized why it is that these people do the bandana over the face thing. I think it gives them some sort of feeling of importance. "OOOOOooooo, Im so bad I better cover my face because Im so dangerous the government is after me, yeah man, living on the fringe is hard, you know, like I had to go underground, watch my back."

That said, the more I look at it, the more I kind of like the bandana over the face look. Now I have about as much in common with bandana faces as I do face painters at a hockey game. In a way, they are kind of the same thing - people who want to yell really loud at an event for some reason seem to be driven to facial costuming. The thing is, for some reason some crazy commie babe ranting and raving doing the bandana thing is kind of hot in its own weird twisted way. Don't know why, but ranting commie babe has always done it for me. The switch from the beret of the past to the bandana face that seems to be in vogue now took some time to adjust to, but its growing on me.

How predictable. We've moved from discussion, to name calling and mud slinging.

Simple Statistic: almost 90% of the Murder Warrants in Los Angeles County are for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. 75%+ of known gang members in Los Angeles County are Illegal Immigrants.

Don't believe me?? Take a look at the FBI/ICE crime stats report. (Look it up...I found it on my own and so can you)

Here are the stats:

2006 (First Quarter) INS/FBI Statistical Report on Undocumented Immigrants

CRIME STATISTICS 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.

86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens.

75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.

24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally

40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally

48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally

29% (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons fill our state and federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually

53% plus of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.

50% plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens from south of the border.

71% plus of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were stolen by Illegal aliens or "transport coyotes".

47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 47%, 92% are illegal aliens.

63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 63%, 97% are illegal aliens

66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66% 98% are illegal aliens.

BIRTH STATISTICS 380,000 plus "anchor babies" were born in the U.S. in 2005 to illegal alien parents, making 380,000 babies automatically U.S.citizens.

97.2% of all costs incurred from those births were paid by the American taxpayers.

66% plus of all births in California are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers

JUST ONE QUESTION: How are open borders and amnesty for those (including some of the above) good for America and its citizens??

If anyone out there can convince me otherwise, I'd LOVE to hear your intelligent, non-conspiritorial, no-name calling view.

Wow... Ugly stats! But this responsible parent only wanted to comment on the obvious difference between the City Hall protesters and their alien adversaries. Day & Night! And thank again those of you who did more than emerge from your parents basements and flash a bus pass to get there.

That publicity couldn't have been good for Potter... my Mom's looking at it in a different light … after noticing who supports the alien's and who supports the rest of us.

Don't think this issue isn't ripping apart the Left. There are progressives, and there are radicals; progressives hold down jobs - radicals feed off society. Note to radicals: this progressive's never hid - and never will!

The FGNT article only mentioned Latino gangs.

Give me one good reason to be a Democrat.

I'm used to name calling. In fact, I like. I know when I win an argument.
