Ironic

Mexican Grinch Halts Christmas Trees at Border
In one of the first actions under Operation Christmas Tree, Mexican environmental authorities have halted a shipment of Oregon-raised Douglas fir trees at the Mexico-US border.

According to the Profepa, Mexican inspectors seized a shipment of almost 2,000 Oregon-grown trees at the Colombia crossing on the Nuevo Leon-Texas border. Justifying its action, the environmental protection agency said the trees were detained after inspectors discovered live Douglas fir twig weevil larvae in the shipment. The trees will be returned to the US, the Profepa said.

Words fail me. But perhaps when we can discover illegal aliens doing something serious, like having "twig weevil larvae" in their pockets, instead of just carrying tuberculosis, meth, marijuana, cocaine and other benign things we can start "returning them to Mexico."

Well, we sure wouldn't want twig weevil larvae infecting their huge crops of Doug fir.

It's almost too stupid to be true. But alas, the government fails us again.

Maybe we can cut up the trees and use the wood for a fence... no, no, that's TOO easy...

They are just being piss-asses because we would not extradite Duane Chapman, and our cities are starting to enact their own laws to rid themselves of the invaders, where our federal government failed. Mexico is just being petty. "If you won't keep our un-educated, diseased crminal poor, then we won't let your tree's come into our country".

this is all part of the free trade agreement. they export labor to cut trees then we eat them

This is hilarious, yet very ironic!

Hey, Anon 7:09: If the Mexican Tape Worm eats liberal brains, surely it will starve itself into extinction.

But, then, some liberals will likely place it on the endangered species list.

And so it goes ----

Thank you for a giggle today.

they just need the trees for firewood, anyway. And if the brain-eating worms do their job, the liberals can be easily recognized by their tiny bottoms.
