"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

Not to beat a dead horse, but I found this amusing. Im sure many of you have seen it but thought I'd share.

Are you advocating an overthrow of the U.S. government? How ironic. The Republican Party's terrorist funders advocate for the same thing. You must have got the talking points from the RNC today.

Who knows what he meant by posting the comment by Thomas Jefferson? Miglavs is so disoriented, I doubt he knows himself. Other than the Declaration of Independence, it's highly unlikely that Miglavs has taken the time to read any of Jefferson's voluminous writings, or do more than glance at the dust jacket of a biography. Probably found the quote on a web site somewhere. The irony is that if Jefferson were alive today, he'd be speaking and writing eloquently against the excesses and crimes of the Bush administration, and little Daniel Miglavs, drawing on the vast wealth of political wisdom one absorbs from listening to Lars Larson for several hours a day and reading "books" by Ann Coulter, would be accusing Mr. Jefferson of treason.

Hey Daniel. You might already have seen this, but I found it interesting: a collective of women in Mexico who are urging their husbands (illegally in America) to return home, and urging the U.S. government to close the borders and boot their AWOL husbands back to Mexico. You don't hear much about this from the press for some reason...

If the lefties are such fans of Jefferson and the other founding fathers, why do they want to take our guns? More bs from the friends of Bryan Saxton. Hey, BS, tell your pals not to call us names....it sooo hurts our feelings! Well, maybe not. We're pretty much used to it. Perhaps, if you geniuses could choose another debate technique.....Didn't think so. At least one thing is certain....the larger the number of goofy liberals that respond, the larger the truth Mr. Daniel has shed light upon. Works every time!

Lefties like, um, Arnold Schwarzeneggar? Careful, Bear. I remember a time not that long ago when my district was represented by a "Democrat" who MIGHT have drawn a line at owning your own aircraft carrier. We don't want to "take away" your guns, asshole. Me, I'm gearing up for the inevitable fight against right-wing nuts who think that citizens in a healthy, sane society ought to be able to buy AK-47s from vending machines.

Bobkatt said...

Arnold has found out that the only way to compromise with the left is to give in to them. Bi-partisanship=give them what they want. The first amendment is worthless without the second.

hey, tigger, and all you lefty cartoon characters out there; gun control by vera katz...democrat, gun control by ginny burdick...democrat, gun control by Congress...all democrats, gun control by rinos...democrat wannabes. If liberals don't want unconstitutional gun controls, why are they the only ones pushing for them?......sheesh.

What's wrong with buying AK47's from a vending machine?

BTW, I was honored to have been invited to the funeral of a member of the "greatest generation," which took place today. This man was a patriot, a Christian, a father, and a humanitarian. When I watched his son accept the proffered American flag "On behalf of the President of the United States, a grateful nation, and the United States Navy," my thoughts went briefly to the anti-American liberals and ungrateful democrats who are clueless about what it takes to ensure their own freedom, and the fact that they actively undermine the efforts of those are protecting those freedoms......shame on them.

Bear, regarding the fact that you recently had "thoughts" about "anti-American" liberals who "actively undermine" the efforts of those who are protecting our freedoms:

Is Chuck Hegel an "anti-American" liberal? Is Mary Starrett? Is Kevin Phillips? John Dean? Is Margie Thomas, who marched against the war in 2003 holding a "Republicans Against the War" sign? How about Paul Craig Roberts? Is James Baker, who just chaired a commission that told Bush he ought to do the exact OPPOSITE of what he is now doing? Is the Libertarian Party made up of "Anti-American" and "Bush-bashing" liberals? Are the millions of Americans who have marched against the war all American-haters? Are the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Bush administration "anti-American?" Are they liberals? Most of them, according to a report in the current New Yorker, think Bush and Cheney are out of their minds for wanting to attack Iran. Should they be telling Seymour Hersh such things, or does this open them to the charge of being an "anti-American liberal"? Most of all, how about the brave men and women of our armed forces who have stood up in public, facing the prospect of being insulted by brainless turds like you, and called the war in Iraq what it is -- an outrageous, illegal, immoral atrocity? How is it that THEY are able to do this, to say many of the SAME THINGS that the "anti-American liberals" say without "undermining" those who are "protecting our freedoms?

yes, they are liberals, and the traitor lieutenant in Wash. State is, too. Posing as a patriot does not make you one. Libertarians are for open borders, and legalizing meth and heroin. Both are foolish and undermine our society. Disagreeing with policy is one thing....actively sabotaging our troops while claiming to "support" them is not patriotic. It is seditious....look it up. Denounce cindy sheehan, the democrat "leadership," ward churchill, al qaida, islamo-fascists, open borders, the idiots on the left who tried to get patty (osama mama) murray arrested for war crimes, the self-described peaceniks who cheer the attempted assassination of our Vice-President, and the nice folks who claim 911 was a Jewish plot, and you might gain some credibility. Until then, your arguments (and your head) remain empty. Your profanity speaks volumes re your hatred for all things American......sheesh.

Anonymous said...

Bear, two follow-up questions:

1) How does my using the word "turd" in reference to YOU "speak volumes" about my "hatred for all things American"?

2) Do you think we should just round up all these "traitors" and imprison them for life for their crimes, or should they be gassed?

Finally, two comments:

1) Cindy Sheehan has more character, brains and integrity than you will EVER have.

2) You can have my patriotism when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

P.S. I think I'll drop a line to Mary Starrett, who also has more brains, integrity and character than you will ever have, and tell her that she's an American-hating liberal. She'd appreciate the laugh.

Bear is a turd. Whoever doesn't believe that is an un-american scum.

Not all Libertarians are open border people. Ron Paul from Texas is considering running as a Republican for president but he is really a Libertarian. He has a B+ voting record on NumbersUSA. He doesn't vote for any law that is not authorized by the Constitution.

Bobkatt said...

P.S. Ron Paul has always been against the war because it was not declared by Congress and because he feels it is not in our nations interest. Please watch this short video interview if you are inclined. His position on the border is very good.

I agree with Daniel. AK47s and other firearms should be readily available and vending machines do sound like a great idea. In fact everyone should carry the largest caliber handgun they are capable of handling comfortably. I prefer the .45 ACP and the Remington .44 Magnum. For a backup I recommend a .357 Magnum or .38 Special. I’m not a big fan of the 9 MM mostly because it is underpowered and originated in Europe (underpowered? Europe? Is this a coincidence?).

So get out there and start enjoying the pleasures of firearm ownership today! Remember, an armed society is a polite society. All you pussy-assed libs out there please ignore this post.

Bear -- Please turn to page B4 of this morning's Oregonian. Read David Sarasohn's column. THINK about David Sarasohn's column. Scribble your name alongside the names of Bush, Mitch McConnell, Stephen Pearce, Peter King and Tony Snow. Use a pair of scissors to clip the article from the page. Fold the column repeatedly until it's a 1-inch square. Then shove the column into your stupid, hypocritical ass.

Hey, Bear, Isn't it nice to see that the Anons are out in force again preaching their own brand of "patriotism"? And they have such a genteel way of expressing it, too. I would have to agree with Patrick Henry on these Anons. To Paraphrase _ "If this be patriotism, then give me death". Even that would be better than having to read these clowns' crap every time I open Daniel's blogspot. I would not be surprised to see that the various and sundry Anons are pissed that the Taliban missed Dick Cheney a couple of nights ago.
