BofA aims new credit card at illegal immigrants: report
Bank of America Corp. has begun offering credit cards to customers without Social Security numbers, typically illegal immigrants, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.
In recent years, banks across the country have been offering checking accounts and even mortgages to the nation's fast-growing ranks of undocumented immigrants, most of whom are Hispanic, the paper said, adding these immigrants generally have not been able to get major credit cards.
You traiterous bastards. I look forward to you reaping what you sow. Offering criminals a line of credit is not only something shameful from a moral and patriotic standpoint but a business one as well. I hope you lose money hand over fist and that real Americans will no longer do business with you.
I spit on your figurative grave.

But I thought you were a capitalist.
I changed my account from Wells Fargo to my local credit union because of their desire to facilitate the transfer of illegal money to Mexico. They even brag about the fact that they were "...the first major financial services company in the U.S. to accept the Matricula card, a primary form of identification for Mexican nationals to open bank accounts helping Mexican nationals reduce the risks associated with a cash economy."
The U.S. Treasury is even involved in making it easier and less risky for these criminals.
The unfortunate fact about this is that when they loose money on bad debt loan to the Illegal Alien...the Legitimate Citizen/Immigrant pays for it. I pray God collapse they're business and anyone else who supports the aiding and abetting of such criminal/human pollution in our land.
Seriously, what moron was sitting in a meeting and said "I know, let's give a line of credit to people who fraudulently identify themselves!"
Daniel, the answers is: a politically correct liberal.
B of A is setting themselves up for a disaster. Late payments, late fees, default interest rates these illegal immigrants will accrue and the bank will suffer the loss.
That's a dangerous move on Bank of America, but sadly, the bank's losses will just be passed right along to the good, law abiding, legal citizen B of A consumers.
By the way, check out today's (2/13) Fish Wrap (The O, that is) in the Metro Section about the unions with illegal immigrants, and today's "The Edge" about a fence company hired to build the "wall" along the Mexico border, fined for hiring illegal immigrants!
So everybody go to Bank of America and get a Credit Card. Don't worry about your Credit report, use a false name. Don't worry about making those payments, no S.S.# required so make up any name.
When this is offered in Oregon, I will get a bunch of my friends to go to B.of Mex-Amerika & get Credit Cards and have a good time and then NOT pay the monthly statement and teach them a lesson as they try to collect on someone that does not exist.
LETS PARTY! on Bank of Mex.-Amerika
I tried to find the article on the WSJ website, but have to be a paying member to read the whole article. Does anyone else know where it may be posted or referenced?
I guess if the illegal aliens default on their loans the bank can always garnish their wages... oh wait, you need a social security number for that.
Here are all the articles regarding this story.
And BofA contact info.
"Traiterous bastards ... spitting on graves." What are you, five years old?
The world is changing. It always has and always will. Most people accept that and go with the flow. Meanwhile, little Daniel cries and pouts in the corner, thumbing his nose at the world and spitting on the graves of "traitorous bastards."
Grow up, you little prick.
As I write the sub-prime mortgage lenders are very nervous as their loans are on shaky ground and repos are falling like snow in Buffalo.
What is, many of the inde mortgage lenders helped the borrowers dummy up credit histories and work records.
Remember the .com crash of 2000?
Well brace up for the credit crash of 2007 when these adjustable balloon bombs start to fall.
Saw your blog about mortgage company - as it is along the same lines I thought I would share this link with you. We were paying far too much for family things like clothes for us and the kids, games consoles inc the new Wii and soon to be PS3, car insurance/home insurance/pet insurance, broadband, mobile phones, landline calls, home and garden items, camping equipment and utilities/loans etc - you name it, we were spending too much on it.
Then a friend of mine recommended a site called www.bargainplace.co.uk. We were able to get cheaper electricity, gas, mobile phone, broadband and loan deals at bargainplace. Thanks to my friend (and the site) I am saving something like £100 a month and can afford an extra holiday abroard each year. Booked of course on www.bargainplace.co.uk. Thanks bargainplace ;-) !!
