Would any of you from the "Get-Government-Out-of-Our-Lives" camp care to explain why the government is even in the business of regulating what citizens can and can't put in their bodies? How many "Wars on Drugs" need to be declared (and lost) before you people get it through your thick skulls that not only can you NOT win this one, you shouldn't win this one? And if you come back with the argument about how the government has to "protect" us from ourselves (an argument that you mock when liberals make it about other things) then please say whether you support a prohibition against all alcoholic beverages and tobacco products.

And spare me any knee-jerk speculations about my own personal lifestyle, because, no, I'm NOT a dealer or user of ANY illegal drugs. I do, however, smoke a cigar once in a while.

Hypocrisy Police,

Simply because we have a different take on a variety of subjects than you do, doesn't mean that we have "Thick Skulls" (an insinuation that we are somehow WRONG because we disagree with your point of view).

Well, I've said it before, and I'll say it again The difference between Liberal minds and Conservative minds is simple....Liberals believe that if someone is of a differing opinion...that someone is obviously stupid or simply a Facist pig (or any other Liberal slogan)and therefore that someone must be wrong.

While Conservatives on the other hand simply think that Conservative thoughts and views are what they truly believe is best for the population as a whole, and if someone is in disagreement, so be it. Let's put it to a vote and the majority wins.

When I see, read, hear Liberal comments come from Far Left folks like Rosie O'Donell, George Soros, Ted Kennedy....It's obvious to me that they think that they correct in everything they say and do.

When I see, read, hear Far Right comments from folks like Michael Savage, Tom Tancredo, Bill O'Rielly, etc. All I get from those comments is that they are doing what they believe is the right thing.

Basically....the Left is full of hateful people, and the Right is full of folks who want to help the country.

Never mind the super-kooks who inhabit the left and the right. I'm talking about the every day folks, and the pundits.

So, self imposed hypocrisy police.....don't tell me we SHOULD'T win the war on drugs....simply explain to me WHY we shouldn't win.

The drug Cartels are major stakeholders in the illegal alien/border security debate. The jihadists will lose their porous conduit through mehico,......and so will the Cartels! Whoopsie!! No wonder the open borders crowd is afraid. BTW, hypocrisy cop, the cigar is ok, if you don't do a "monica lewinski" on it.

Really? Tell that to the "conservatives" who resort to hauling out the "anti-American" cannon when there is a disagreement. "So be it" my ass! LOL. You're either new to the board, or you have a mighty short memory.

Conservatives to my knowledge have never tried to change tue will of the voters through lawsuits.

Liberals do it on a daily basis. Especially here in Oregon.

Measure 37, twice? Measure 36? Measure 11? I am sorry, remind me who was circumventing the will of the voters? Anyone?
