Don't be sheeple

I send the emails, the faxes and make the phone calls. I've made my opinion about this amnesty bill in the senate known to everyone I can think of (although if someone else comes to me then rest assured they will hear from me).

So this afternoon I decided to do something different. I uprooted my yard sign that says "Illegal immigration is a crime"... and proudly waved it while standing on the corner of HWY99 and Tualatin-Sherwood road from 5-6pm.

The response was overwhelmingly positive and hopefully some people who had intended to email/call their representatives (a term I use lightly) will be inspired/reminded to actually do so.

We can't let up the pressure. This is do or die for America. There is no remedy if this amnesty bill passes. We won't have to worry about "drivers licenses for illegals" because there won't be any illegals.

If you get upset about a $0.30 increase in gas prices just think about the $3,000 annual increase in your medical costs due to illegal immigration. Time to get upset and make your voice heard.

I appreciate everyone who takes the time to send a fax/email or make a phone call. Every little bit helps. But America is worth more than two minutes of your time. The rule of law is worth more than one phone call.

If standing (or walking back and forth) on a street corner with a sign that inspires the right people, makes the illegal alien supporters angry enough to flip you off and makes any illegal aliens driving by very uncomfortable then I will continue to do it.

I'm open to suggestions for more ways that we can defeat this bill and wake up the American Idol watching sheeple of this country to the fact that their homeland has been invaded and their politicians are ready to sell them out.

When recently talking with some younger adults about their lack of concern with the Illegal Alien question they explained they are aware of the problem yet see the whole US as a hopeless mess that is beyond their control and the best they can do is ignore the negative and enjoy the today.

They believe that as individuals they have no ability to bring about change, or so they have been taught by their socialist teachers.

All we need to do is show them what we have accomplished with OFIR where we were once a small group that has now grown to number in the thousands.

Yes we can!

I faxed both senators and called both. To tell you the truth, I think their minds are made up no matter how many calls they get. They are bought and paid for with special interest monies.

I told both of their offices that if they are going to vote for this amnesty, that they should get on TV and tell us how it is going to benefit us and that it is not going to bankrupt social security for the people who have been paying into it for 30 years or so.

Then what's the problem?

anon 8:37, in many ways, the kids are right. I feel the same way. Only difference might be that I still vote. Beyond that, I have similar feelings. Life is too short for me to worry about all this crap, but I do what I can where I figure I am useful. To that end, I'll shoot off some emails, and then I'll go back to my normal daily demands of work and family.

Anon 10:14, are you as dumb as your post or are you just an internet troll?

"Private PRO AMNESTY Senate Hotlines
The pro-open borders group Coalition for Comprehensive Immigration Reform is circling a hotline that allows pro-amnesty supporters to bypass the Senate switchboard and get directly to their Senators

Why should you be concerned? Because if like the millions of other American citizens you have called the Senate switchboard to urge your Senators to vote NO on the new bill that will be voted on next week and provide amnesty to nearly 20 million illegal immigrants, you have most likely been met with a busy signal.

1-800-882-2005. (Spanish number) 1-800-417-7666. (English number)

So while, you a concerned citizen, is having his/her voice silenced, illegal immigrants and their supports have a direct line to your government representatives. Fortunately for us these numbers have been leaked to the public. We highly urge you to use them to call your senators if you are having trouble getting through. With the holiday weekend upon us and the vote coming up early next week time is running very short for you to make your voice heard."

Ronnie and Gordy are both signed on to creation of the North American Union and ASAP.

They believe that using manure from Mexico will stimulate the USA and the need resulting from the Greedy Union's over-harvesting.

This is foolish as the Chinese own us lock-stock and barrel.

That is unless we erase our debt to them of Trillions upon Trillions of dollars which would result in a war.

They have a plan and believe we can't handle the truth.

Too late, those "representatives" have already sold out for whatever their reason. Do you really believe they care about the common citizen?

Senator Ron Wyden is going to hold two town hall meetings this Sunday, May 27. The first meeting will be in Rufus at 1:00. Rufus is on I-84 just east of The Dalles. The

second will be at 3:30 in The Dalles. The Dalles is about 83 miles east of Portland on I-84.

This is an opportunity to talk directly with the Senator and show your outrage about his voting to give amnesty to illegal aliens under the Senate amnesty bill, S. 1348.

I received this email:

"If you agree send it on, if you disagree delete it! Simple as that.....

Let's say I break into your house

Recently large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that Congress is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that
the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and,
once here, to stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand
the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hardworking
and honest,
(except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters:

You are Required to let me stay in your house.
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan.
You are Required to Educate my kids.
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family.

(My husband will do all of your yard work because he is also hardworking and honest, except for that breaking in part.)

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my
RIGHT to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have
a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm a hardworking and honest person, except for well, you know, I did break into your house.

And oh yeah, I get a free education, where you have to pay your own way through college.(TEEHEE)

And what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing you can do about it without being accused of cold,
uncaring, selfish, prejudiced, and
bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you to learn MY LANGUAGE!!! so you can communicate with me. And don't forget to

Make sure your forms are in MY language - I need to understand them...

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is?! Only in America.
if you agree, pass it on (in English ).
Share it if you see the value of it.

If not blow it off.........
Along with your future Social Security funds, and a lot of other things."

The largest employer of illegal aliens in PNW forests, by far, is the US Taxpayer.

During the past 30 years BLM and the USFS have hired tens of millions of dollars worth of migrant labor (illegal alien) crews to do tree planting, trail building, and firefighting jobs that had always beeen done by local citizens before.

Mike D is discussing current ramifications of this coyote funding method in his blog during the past week; before the 14 illegals were busted planting trees in Idaho. This is only one dozen of thousands of illegal people who have been drawn to the PNW to make high pay working on federal forest lands (and displacing local workers by doing so)

No matter what your opinion is on the Iraq war you have to giggle at the Surrender Monkeys. Now that's funny right there.

I saw you out there and you looked like a complete douche. When I was at the light I heard no honks or anything. I did see two guys in a pick-up flip you off though. The not-so-bright look on your face was classic to say the least.

As I got further down the highway I saw at about 40 immigrants, soon to be Americans, working the field. I suspect all you are doing is spinning your wheels or better yet, should I say blowing in the wind.

"Independent Task Force on North America
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

North American Union redirects here.

Map of the North American Economic and Security Community

Hypothetical flag of the North American Union
The Independent Task Force on North America was a project organized by the United States Council on Foreign Relations, the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, and the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations. It was chaired by former Canadian politician John Manley and advocates a greater economic and social integration between Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
It was launched in October 2004 and published two documents: Trinational Call for a North American Economic and Security Community by 2010 (March 2005) and its final report Building a North American Community[1] (May 2005).
The final report proposed increased international cooperation between the nations of Canada, the United States, and Mexico, similar in some respects to that of the European Union.
Some Internet sources claim that this report, despite its own language rejecting a political union, would create a North American Union, which would link the three North American countries into a political union in the model of the European Union. Some envision this new North American Union as having its own currency known as the amero, which would replace the Mexican peso, U.S. dollar and Canadian dollar."

Quote from the following website:

"The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) was launched in March of 2005 as a trilateral effort to increase security and enhance prosperity among the United States, Canada and Mexico through greater cooperation and information sharing.

This trilateral initiative is premised on our security and our economic prosperity being mutually reinforcing. The SPP recognizes that our three great nations are bound by a shared belief in freedom, economic opportunity, and strong democratic institutions.

The SPP provides the framework to ensure that North America is the safest and best place to live and do business. It includes ambitious security and prosperity programs to keep our borders closed to terrorism yet open to trade.

The SPP builds upon, but is separate from, our long-standing trade and economic relationships. It energizes other aspects of our cooperative relations, such as the protection of our environment, our food supply, and our public health.

Looking forward, President Bush, Prime Minister Harper and President Fox have identified emergency management; influenza pandemics, including avian influenza; energy security; and safe and secure gateways (border security and facilitation) as key priorities for the SPP. The Leaders also announced the creation of North American Competitiveness Council to fully incorporate the private sector into the SPP process."
