No one is safe

Oregon Senate puts illegal workers, bosses on notice
Lawmakers are set to crack down on businesses that hire illegal workers, don't pay taxes, or otherwise make it harder for law-abiding employers to compete.

The Senate, in a marathon afternoon session on Monday, approved House Bill 2815, which requires the departments of justice, revenue, employment, and other agencies to work together to track businesses that pay employees in cash.

Sen. Floyd Prozanski, D-Eugene, said that investment should bring in an estimated $7 million this biennium in increased income, unemployment, and workers' compensation taxes.

Getting between The State and "it's money" is like standing between a mother bear and it's cubs. At this point your protected class status evaporates as the voracious appetite of the legislature will throw anyone and everyone under the bus to get another nickel.

Wonderful! Now the illegals will claim their "hurt on the job" under workers comp. One fraud seeking help from another fraud!

Speaking of fraud Anon 9:47, you should sue the school system you attended. They clearly failed to teach you the difference between "their", "they're" and "there".

Or maybe they taught you just fine and, being a typical right-winger, you simply possess a genetic inability to ever use the correct form of "your", "to" or "there".

Ya fell for the bait by picking on grammar rather than arguing the point.
From one anon to another, "F-off"

The claim that anti-immigrants make that "illegals" are sucking the system dry by using "services" is a horseshit lie that has been exposed 1,000 times.

anon 1:48- please give a couple of examples of the 1000's. Logic would dictate that there is no way that a low wage illegal could possibly make up the cost of having just one child that is paid for by the state. Not to mention the continuing expense of schooling and health care.
Mexicans are very vocal about their reproduction rates often having 3-5 children causing the population to increase as the local population decreases. Ever increasing population is not sustainable. More people equates to water shortages, increased dependencies on fossil fuels, environmental degradation, increased traffic and housing congestion, etc. Please explain how any of this is a benefit.

Bobkatt, anon 1:48 PM is probably a wannabe politician like Al Gore. He cannot use facts. I like to use one simple sentence for simple folks like him/her.

If illegal aliens are so good for an economy, why is California in the shitter? I would have to think with his reasoning that California is flooded with money. It is for the illegals. Sooner or later California will have to realize the truth. It will hurt. Their citizens have been very lazy.

In Miglavia, if something goes wrong, or if something makes you uncomfortable, it is the fault of an "illegal alien." Example: Holy shit! Is that a pimple on my pecker? Fucking Mexica -- er, fucking illegal aliens!

Welcome to Miglavia, where "illegal aliens" threaten the very existence of the universe and the time-space continuum.

anon 5:30-no not everything is the fault of illegal aliens, you are a big part of the problem. You are so self satisfied with your snarky little comments that you don't bother answering any questions posed to your ridiculous rants.
