Used as a noun, not an adjective

Couple charged in Seattle with gay immigration fraud
A federal grand jury in Seattle has charged two people in an alleged immigration fraud conspiracy, saying they advised straight immigrants to claim homosexuality in applying for political asylum.

According to an indictment unsealed Tuesday, the Mahoneys in at least three cases advised immigrants to falsely claim that they feared persecution for homosexuality if they returned to their home country.

It's kind of like that office joke that says when the boss calls you into his office and you know you are about to get fired you just need to quickly blurt out "I'm gay" before he says anything.

This is the problem with treating a behavior as a civil right. How do you prove or disprove a claim? Do you demand to see a homosexual act?

They are like "guest worker" programs except they don't give amnesty to current criminals.

And do we really need the "gay visa" when we already have the following:

Visas:
B-1 Business Visitor Visa
B-2 Tourist Visitor Visa
B-1/B-2 Visa Extension
E-1 Treaty Trader Visa
E-2 Treaty Investor Visa
E-3 Visa for Australians
F-1 Student Visa
H-1B Work Visa
H-2B Work Visa
H-3 Trainee Visa
J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa
K-1 Fiancee Visa
L-1 Intracompany Visa
P Visa Athlete/Entertainer
R-1 Religious Visa
TN Nafta Work Visa

Green Cards:
Green Card Lottery
Marriage to U.S. Citizen
Through Adoption
Through Employment
Through Investment
Through Relatives
As a Special Immigrant
Green Card Renewal

The problem is not that we don't allow enough immigrants, the problem is that the reward of living in America is so desirable that people are willing to lie, cheat and steal their way in.

Ambrose Bierce, back in the late 1800s, described amnesty as the State's magnanimity to those offenders whom it would be too expensive to punish.

That is true today with the Federal and States' governments all pushing for amnesty for the illegals that are already here. And to all Daniel's detractors (a polite word for "enemies") here, it is not limited to Mexicans or others from Central America, as these detractors would like it to be, but to all the illegals regardless of where they are from.

Rounding up some 12- to 20-million people, depending on whose figures are being used, would be all but impossible, not to mention financially prohibitive.

Hey scottie.
I would have to beg to differ with your opinion. We are Americans, we do the impossible. Ike did it with about one thousand border agents. He rounded and convince about two million or more to hit the road. How come we can't round up 12-20 million? The financial savings would be realized in the first year. It would save over nine thousand lives a year. It would prevent the raping of over three thousand people per year. I guess you call these facts insignificant.
This bullshit will not stop until a top politician family member is killed by an illegal or more family members like yours are killed and then the citizens of this country rising up and telling our government in no uncertain terms, get them the fuck out of here.

Ask California how the illegal aliens are so good for their state. They are on the verge of bankruptcy and Arnold says the illegals are not the problem. He is very confused on this issue or is lying out his ass. Probably the latter.

Hispanics are the largest group of illegals, mexicans are the largest group of hispanic offenders of our immigration laws. I believe there are several tens of thousands of Irish illegals. I want them booted out too. I am part Irish.

Scottiebill and Dave01-dream on. I don't think you will ever be able to shake off the charge of racism when discussing this issue. It is too powerful of a tool that has been effectively used by the open borders supporters to sway those of us suffering from White-guilt or averse to national pride. They have even been successful in convincing some that breaking the law is a civil rights issue and managed to suck in many black leaders to their cause even though low income blacks often suffer the most from this invasion through increased crime in their neighborhoods and increased competition for low skilled jobs. They also suffer from illegals using the limited resources available to help low income legal citizens. Unfortunately you are never going to reach those who believe that the U.S. reached this state of success and fortune because of greed and corruption or just luck and owe it to the rest of the world to take care of them.
Charity is a wonderful and recommended thing but to insist that everyone else must fund these overcrowded schools, hospitals, jails, neighborhoods, etc. is nothing short of theft.

Dave and Bobkatt: While it is true that Ike deported some 2-million illegals, that was about 55 years ago and the attitude toward illegals was much more negative then than it is now. Nowhere in my posting did I say I was against kicking them out. I merely said that its would be nearly impossible to round them all up, and, in today's economy, financially prohibitive, especially since our new incoming Commissar wants to add about a trillion dollars to the National debt to give us all a few bucks. While I am no economist, it would likely take ANOTHER trillion dollars to round up and deport the 12- to 20-million illegals that are already here.

Scottie, I don't think it would take a trillion dollars to boot the illegals out. You also need to start somewhere. If I remember correctly, Arizona, Georgia, and Missouri, (I could be wrong on those states) have enacted some pretty good anti-illegal employment laws. We could also stop all benefits to them. I recommend we also stop the anchor baby stuff. They would leave if they did not have jobs, medical, education and their kids would not be Americans. Basically, remove ALL the incentives for them to come here. I would also seize all their assets to pay for what they have taken from us. I just read today Harry Reid is trying to shove another amnesty bill down our throats. If we get that amnesty and more bailouts, I think our country is done.I can't believe more democrats got elected after the worst congress in history is being run by the democrats. Americans are truly ignorant and lazy.
