How about: would you like to use my SSN?

Seattle Speaks: What would you ask Hispanic day laborers?
Many stories have been written about the immigration issue. The goal of this series is to get to the people behind that issue.

So I won't be pressing them on their immigration status if they don't want to share it. I won't be interrogating them about taxes or social services. This is not to say these are not important questions. They are. But we want to show who they are as human beings, not as documented or undocumented immigrants.

Right now we have such hard hitting questions such as:

What would you like done to improve living and working conditions in your home country?

How different do you think your life is from the lives of the people driving by in luxury cars?

How happy are you here?

The author is asking for suggestions for other questions. I'm liking the suggestions that I already see posted there:

How do you feel when undocumented workers wave the Mexican flag or turn the US flag upside down?

Not that Monica will be asking such things but at least the Seattle PI will get the general sentiment of the people.

Thank you to Orbusmax (my homepage) for bringing my attention to this story.

Q:
Why don't you go home and try to improve the conditions there, rather than coming here and causing conditions to deteriorate?

Q. Do you teach your children that it's good to break the law for money?

SUGGESTION: Until these "invaders" obtain full US Naturalized status, tax them at 50 percent above the normal income tax rate ..that money going to an "untouchable Social security fund " to pay back the "services" thay have depeleted.

There is no debate...THEY CONSUME THESE SERVICES!
