If druggies can get food stamps why can't I get an OMHS grant?

OMHS Sponsorships (.DOC)
Sponsorship Request Review
Sponsorship Requests will be reviewed on the fourth Wednesday of each month by OMHS staff.

Requests will be reviewed based on the following criteria:

Racial/ethnic diversity of organizations requesting sponsorship

Geographic location (within Oregon), representation of urban/rural organizations

Alignment with equity and/or diversity concepts

Prior awards to the same organization within the last 12 months

Amount of request in relations to activity sponsored (reasonable cost for activity)

They literally make you break down by percentage the number of each racial group that you serve, that you have on staff, that you have in management and that you have on your board of directors.

Then, assuming that you are aligned with the diversity concepts prescribed by the state, you will be awarded taxpayer money to do race-based programs!

Honestly, more than anything, I'm pissed that a state government website is still publishing content in Microsoft Word documents. It's called "HTML," you Luddites.

An American first, an Oregonian second. I find it disheartening to find that those appellations aren't sufficient for the purposed of our government types.

I guess "content of character" is an anachronism these days.

Daniel sees bigotry and racism everywhere and yet none whatsoever in Miglavia. Meet the Inspector Clouseau of the Republican Party.

Can we apply this to the Portland Trailblazers. Clearly there is racism on that team. Lets kick off those excess over represented ethnicities and put players on the team based on population reprersentation. Fair is fair!!!

No racism in Miglavia, though! A bigotry-free environment. I keep saying it, so it must be true. ;-)
