It's time to get rid of

181.850. (1) No law enforcement agency of the State of Oregon or of any political subdivision of the state shall use agency moneys, equipment or personnel for the purpose of detecting or apprehending persons whose only violation of law is that they are persons of foreign citizenship [residing] present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws.

Men held in death are illegal immigrants
Two cousins accused of killing a teenager during her visit to Oregon acknowledged entering the country illegally from Mexico, a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement official said.

One of the men, Alejandro Rivera Gamboa, 24, went unnoticed by immigration officials even though he was arrested four times on drunken driving charges since 2000, The Oregonian newspaper reported.

ORS 181.850 needs to be repealed in the "emergency" session that the Oregon legislature will be convening next year. Making law eforcement cover their eyes to crime is not keep our community safe. This is a horrible statute that is only supported by criminals and those who make excuses for them.

I would also argue to any potential rogue public officials/law enforcement that by definition someone who is in this country illegaly is violating more than just that law. Just by getting a job they break numerous other laws. Arrest them, deny them services, call ICE, do something.

But they'll use that money to specifically set up employment for them by creating day labor sites.

Hypocrites.

There is a story in today's edition of The Seattle Times about some Russian and Armenian immigrants, some illegal, who stole credit card numbers, used them to program gift cards and bought post stamps, which they later resold. Identity theft is an awful crime that can screw up your credit for years. But at least you are still alive. I'd like to know if illegal immigrants who are not from Mexico, Latin or South America commit the same amount of serious crimes as out friends from the South. We are all against illegal immigration for one reason or another but maybe there is some truth to the complaint coming from the illegal immigrants’ defenders that we specifically target Latinos. It could be their number -- they are just the most visible at least around here -- but it could also be the fact that the crimes they commit are of the most atrocious kind. Personally, I would deport any LEGAL immigrant for any felony he commits before becoming a citizen but maybe some people are more tolerant of some crimes and let illegals from Poland, Russia and other non-latin countries off the hook.

Any legal immigrant who is not a citizen should absolutely be deported for any felony no matter where they are from. We don't need to bring those kind of people.

I agree whole heartedly. One of the reasons that I chose to resign my commission as a Police Officer was for just this reason.

The jurisdiction in California where I was employed, was absolutely RIFE with illegal aliens. The department I was with had a policy that amounted to a don't ask policy. I wasn't even allowed to contact immigration when I had an admitted illegal alien in custody on other charges.

THis allowed the suspect to slip through the revolving door of the local judicial system, and promptly go about targeting new victims. I can't count the number of repeat offenders that I dealt with on a nightly basis who admit that they are in the country illegally. I distinctly remember one scrote-sac whom I arrested 27 times within a one year period for car prowl.

It made me nuts to think that he would be gone if I could just get INS involved. At least he'd be out of the loop for a couple of weeks, and maybe some of the good citizens wouldn't have to deal with stolen stereos, speakers, and air bags.

This is a BAD law that needs to be abandoned and repealed before one more innocent is made a victim at the hands of an illegal alien.

" ... persons whose only violation of law is that they are persons of foreign citizenship [residing] present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws."

Honestly? If that really is their only violation, then I really can't bring myself to give a shit. Live and let live, baby. The only laws that ought to be repealed are those that keep human beings from moving from one country to another without the governments of either fucking with them. A true conservative ought to feel the same way.

Yes, yes, let's not fry the big fish. Let's go after the poor, the sick, the women and children and elderly. That's what Jesus would have us do, after all.

Let me understand this. Are we now blaming the girl who was raped and killed? Are we willing to defend illegal Latinos no matter what they do? This is eerily similar to what the left says about Muslims: it's our fault they do bad things.

OK ... Republicans are soft on pedophiles AND illegal aliens. "Birds of a feather" y'know. I hope none of the leftist assholes who post here think we're all fans of the Republican party. Cause that would be ... well, stupid.

This was somebody's child I don't care what your political beliefs are. Maybe we should let them out so they can rape and murder a member of your family and then maybe you'll get your head out. By the way being latino is not illegal being here illegally is or don't you understand the differance.

Woodburn is loaded with Illegal Aliens from Russia and they are more dangerous as they have greater intelligence and can thus more easily avoid detection.

Using drugs and going drunk crazy as do the Indigenous people of Mexico is not a problem for them.

Convicted molester Curtin says his attackers should be charged

STROUDSBURG — Former Monroe County Republican state committeeman John Curtin was convicted of molesting a 17-year-old boy outside a Stroudsburg hotel in August 2005, but charges have not been filed against the victim and another man for assaulting Curtin on the night of the incident.

Curtin, his attorney and supporters call this a double-injustice and are demanding the police and District Attorney's Office charge his attackers.

Curtin remains free on bail, with his sentencing stayed for possibly a year pending his appeal of the March jury conviction.

I wonder if people, especially people on the left who are defenders of the illegal scum like the 2 in Milwaukie, would be blaming the victim if she were a minority who was in a similar situation and the 2 attackers were white trashers who were out on parole when they should have been in jail?

No.....you would be hearing all of their sob stories and vigils being held and fingers being pointed all around as there should be. The bottom line is that these 2 scum should not have been in the country to begin with. And Teddy and Tom and politicians like them make it a lot easier for them to work, and kill in this case, under the radar.

Bear, I am perfectly aware of what "illegal" means. I also know that at various times in our history, it has been "legal" for one human being to "own" other human beings, it was legal for the King of England to tax "his" colonies, it was illegal for women to vote, it was legal to discriminate based on race and it was illegal to make or consume alcohol. I also know that if you scour the statute books of various American cities, you will find all sorts of ridiculous laws. Until the 1970s, for example, it was illegal to show movies in Eugene on Sunday nights. In Oregon, it is illegal to pump your own gas.

Here's a fair and balanced news flash for you, pal: Times change. Societies evolve. If you read my post carefully (although I've given up hope, frankly, that conservatives read anything carefully) you ought to be able to reasonably deduce that I DO object to those crimes committed by undocumented workers (as I would if they were committed by anyone else) that actually HARM other people -- assault, theft, DUII, etc. And if you aren't reasonable enough to deduce that on your own, then let me just say, for the record, that I DO.

But if their only "crime" is walking from point A on the Mexican side of the border to point B on the American side -- and that, by the way, isn't even a crime, technically, it's an infraction -- then I think that's worthy of the same amount of attention as someone in Eugene showing a movie on Sunday night. What the fuck do you care where people live and work, as long as they don't bother others and mind their own business?

Wallace, the problem is not so much that the illegals are working here. It is that they are not very good guests. Imagine a uninvited guest in your house that eats all of your food, fills your living room with all of their numerous relatives, refuses to speak your language, sends all of their money back to their homeland while pledging allegiance to wherever they came from, insists on you paying for their medical care and their schooling, asks you to bail them out of jail and to pay for their lawyer, etc.

Get the point??

95 percent of the world's wealth is owned by 5 percent of the world's population, and yet you've worked yourself into a cold sweat because "illegal aliens" are -- pardon me while I laugh out loud -- eating "all" of our food, sending "all" of their pay to Mexico, etc.

Listen up, pal: The VAST majority of "illegal aliens" never go to jail because they are never arrested because they never do any of the horrible shit that Miglavs posts on his blog every day, crimes that a tiny minority of the whole commit. They never ASK you to pay for their attorneys because they don't NEED an attorney. And, I don't know what the situation is in your neck of the woods, but I have never had the experience of going to a grocery store and being told that they're all out of an item because "illegal aliens" bought them. Give me a fucking break!

Nevertheless, if we're going to react to the whole based on the actions of a few, I'll take you up on it: I propose that we ban the Republican Party in the United States. Being a Republican ought to be illegal. Why? Look at the list above. You motherfuckers obviously are out of control: Raping our kids, sexual assault, molestation, child pornography. I've had it with you assholes. You're a threat to society.

Another Republican Pedophile, Ted Klaudt, to deport. Developing story:

New evidence surfaces against former lawmaker Ted Klaudt
By The Associated Press

SIOUX FALLS -- State investigators who have analyzed a computer used by a former state lawmaker accused of rape and other sex crimes say Ted Klaudt, 49, attempted the online solicitation of young girls.

Ted Klaudt leaves the Meade County Courthouse on July 20 after being arraigned on a variety of rape charges. (Journal file photo)

The Walker rancher allegedly used the name "studman" in one instance to ask a 14-year-old girl to send webcam photos of herself.

And he allegedly used the name "thephotoman" while pretending to be a 21-year-old modeling agent, supposedly asking a 15-year-old girl to send photos for a pornographic movie.

Authorities say those allegations are given credence by an interview with an 18-year-old female who said Klaudt offered to take photos of her and a 16-year-old sister with sex toys in order to build modeling portfolios.

The charges against Klaudt, both in Corson County, where he lives, and Hughes County while he was in the Legislature, involve girls in foster care. At least one of the allegations involved a girl when she was a page during a lawmaking session.

Klaudt, a Republican, has pleaded not guilty to all of the charges. Each rape count carries a maximum punishment of 25 years in prison.

The teenage girls told authorities that Klaudt touched their breasts and penetrated their vaginas during exams for a scheme in which he said they could make money by selling their reproductive eggs.

Oct. 30 has been set as the start of Klaudt's trial in Hughes County. No trial date has yet been established on the Corson County charges.

The list of things liberals must do to be taken seriously:

1) Learn that endless cutting and pasting from wacko left wing sites only reinforces the conclusion that you are incapable of original thought.

2) Visit a foreign land, see how far tolerance goes elsewhere as far as handouts for illegal aliens. You would be surprised.

3) Understand that if coming to a country illegally, working illegally, and getting government benefits illegally is no big deal to you, then it will be very hard to understand your anger at businesses maintaining hazardous working conditions or not following minimum wage laws. Stupid is as stupid does.

4) Figure out that no matter how you slice it the left owns pedophilia, after defending Gerry Studs, Mel Reynolds, Neil Goldschmidt et. al. its all yours baby!

Hey Refuse,

Are you just in denial about your party being the party of pedophiles or are you just a stupid backwater hick nativist that molests children too and needs the cover of railing against undocumented Americans?

Is there a point to all of the left leaning troll posts? Is the point to prove that you are JUST smart enough to cut and paste a post that's been cut and pasted here about a dozen times?

Do us all a favor and go back to eating your bowl of Fruit Loops and watching the Cartoon Network.

Maybe they don't need attorneys for commiting a felony, but if there in the country illegal they most likely are not paying any taxes for anything which means they are stealing money.I guess a good solution to that problem is you give them you bank account number and they can use your money from now on.

And the award for the weekend's dumbest insult goes to Anthony DeLucca, for his entry:

Do us all a favor and go back to eating your bowl of Fruit Loops and watching the Cartoon Network.

Congratulations, Anthony!

Anthony "Fast Tony" DeLucca, do us all a favor and go back to selling your cheap used cars to the white trash of Gresham.

When it comes to these left-wing idiots coming in here with their garbage, you basically have two choices. The first is to ignore it. If you ignore these idiots, they will eventually go away. By responding to them, you allow them to deflect the issue and hijack the discussion. Now, if you really can't ignore them, then the second option is to give them a hearty FUCK YOU. Why? Well, you can't argue with their stupidity and if you can't ignore them, you might as well as tell them what you really think, succinctly. So instead of engaging them, just give them them the mighty FUCK YOU and be done with it. I still recommend ignoring them, however.

Hmm...jeez you liberal screwups, you would think that all the criminals in world are Republicans, and there is some connection between Republicanism and pedophilia. I suppose you could argue that there is actually a SCANDAL when a Republican does what your party openly advocates, but I digress.

In case you were thinking you are the vanguard of some sort of Party of Holiness, a simple web search will tell you of such notables as Gary Condit, who likely murdered his young intern mistress, Ted Kennedy, who drunkenly killed a young woman and is now the face of the party when they want to drum out some ridiculous left wing attack, or congressman William Jefferson who had a bunch of "cold" cash hidden in his freezer from bribes, or Alcee Hastings, only the 6th federal judge to ever be impeached by Congress (a Democrat congress) for corruption and perjury - only to later be elected as a Democrat congressman.

And we shant discuss Robert KKK Byrd, former high official in the Klan, who only a couple of years ago used the word "nigger" on Fox News (so don't go thinking he is reformed), who the Democrats refer to as the "conscience of hte Senate".

And we probably shoudln't mention congressman Barney Frank, who allowed a gay prostitute he hired to live with him and run a gay prostitution ring out his house. What is he now...a committee chair?

Or Neil Goldscmidt, who corrupted the entire Democrat party of Oregon, and who was using the government for his own ATM machine. Oh, and who also raped a 14 year old girl and caused her to be a drug addict the rest of her life.

IF you are proud of all that, you probably also should be proud of your Party being opposed to every major REAL civil rights achievement in history. Look it up. That's why none of those people with landmark civil rights achievements were Dems. The Democrats were the ones with the silly white sheets on their heads.

In case, though, you need an Internet cut n paste of Democrat scandals similar to the list you gave us (and I know a number of the things said in htat list are crap, but a lot of them are also true and that disgusts me), here you go.

I'm sure being a member of the party or ideology of open mindedness you will repent and apologize for generalizing about people in the manner you did.
