Things they spend our money on

[NOTE: table removed as it was messing with overall blog appearance]

I find this junk spending 5 minutes on the Oregon transparency website. Are you telling me that legislators and agency heads can't find things to cut prior to closing prisons?

If you really want a shocker you should see how much the OLCC spends on travel and meals!

Memo to Dave: If you're looking for someone to explain to you Miglavian bigotry, see example above.

DANIEL, when you get home from work PLZ delete anon, 4:45 racist wasted drunk middle of the night blabbering post.

I am against illegal immigration not a member of KKK or any Racist group like nat'l council of la raza.

Anon 7:48 you skipped a step: you need to explain to the Miglavians (except for Anon 8 am, who gets it) why "n---er" is offensive.

By the way, speaking of racist groups, no Miglavian a couple of posts ago had the balls to respond to this:

http://www.newnation.org/OIR/oir.html

If conservatives can make hay of Obama's old friendship with Bill Ayers, it's fair game to ask what the hell OFIR was doing storing its archives on the blatantly racist New Nation's web site for several years. Oh, that's right, New Nation was doing it as a "public service." Or are we supposed to believe that New Nation started publishing racist filth (they use the "N" word all the time) only after OFIR's stuff was moved off their site? Or are one of you guys actually going to argue, with a straight face, that New Nation somehow isn't racist?

I'm looking forward to a serious explanation. Should I mark my calendar to check back in ... what, say 2019?

anon 7:48- your constant racial attack against everyone on this blog that disagrees with open borders and immigration control is boring. For all we know you are the one that wrote anon 4:45 or maybe it was me. Most of us could care less about OFIR except that they are in the forefront against the illegal invasion in Oregon.
I won't bother to defend OFIR or NewNation because I don't read their websites and they play no part in my life. Get over it and come up with a real argument.

The beauty of it, Bob, is that I don't have to make an argument. The words speak for themselves. The relationship between Miglavs and OFIR is a cozy one: They link to him, he links to them, and he has a function on his web site to contribute money to them. And no, I am not the Anon 4:45 who posted that. So as long as OFIR is at the "forefront against the illegal alien invasion," their ties to New Nation mean nothing to you? Fine. Your apathy is on the record. Anyone else?

And after you're done marking your calendar, you can start holding your breath.

Honestly, what does your comment have to do with this post?

Anonymous said...

Interesting that you didn't ask 4:45 that question ... or (unless you're also Anon 8 a.m.) object to what he said.

Anonymous said...

Of course nobody responded to the New Nation's Oregonians for Immigration Reform. Didn't you know that silence is golden? What they foget is "my eyes (and other's eyes) still see".

Honestly, that was my reaction to Anon 4:45 a.m.'s comment. It seemed (to me) to lead naturally to the New Nation question, which the Miglavians are clearly determined to ignore and dismiss.

The inconvenient truth: Ignoring it doesn't make it go away.

There’s a crucial distinction between the Ayers/Obama connection and the OFIR/New Nation connection:

Ayers and Obama were never close. They were at the same party once, and they served on a couple of non-profit boards together in the early 1990s. Ayers did not endorse Obama, and Obama, after being hounded by idiots like Sean Hannity, denounced Ayers’ radical past.

I have seen no denunciation of New Nation by OFIR or any of its supporters.

844 my ass. Will wrote Dreams of my father you dipshit!

Anonymous said...

In the first place, that's a bunch of rightwing blogosphere bullshit.

In the second, Ayers could have written every word of it while Obama was sucking his dick ... it STILL does not change the fact that Obama did denounce Ayers' radical political activity, and it also does not change the fact that Miglvian dipshits will not denounce New Nation.

And now, you've joined them.

Looks like the Miglavians aren't going to touch this one with a 10-foot pole.

Looks like the Miglavians have stood down.

Cowards.

Dave, what do I keep telling you about your meds? You can't miss a dose, man. Get back on it.

Nice to see a Miglavian finally denounce New Nation. Sort of like trying to get a python to cough up a goat it swallowed three weeks earlier, but at least you did it, though not without the obligatory Miglavian dig at La Raza. News for you, Dave: Nobody gives a shit about La Raza. It's a fringe organization that has about as much influence as ... well, Daniel Miglavs has on government in Oregon. Seriously. I wouldn't worry about them.

Also:

1) Spare us the stories about your army days. We've all heard it many times, now. Nobody gives a shit about that either, although:

2) Have you considered that you were not a "victim of racism," but that your black platoon sergeant was treating you the way he did because you're incompetent? Something to think about.

3) I swear to you, on the life of my children, with my hand on a stack of Bibles, I did not write the 4:45 a.m. post.

4) I'm not a Democrat and I did not vote for Obama, and will not vote for him, although the fact that your brainless rant against "you clowns" and "you whiney pussies" is your standard boilerplate response to pretty much everyone you disagree with does raise a question: When someone says something you don't like, why do you basically assign that person an entire laundry list of positions and opinions they may have never had in the first place?

Maybe because you're a knuckle-dragging idiot? Your sergeant may have been on to something.

anon- you are the most twisted, constipated, illogical fool I have read on this blog. You claim that no one cares about La Raza but they have a national presence, huge funding and chapters in many of the countries universities. They are even treated to speeches from prominent politicians. OFIR, not so much. Last year La Raza raked in 15.2 million dollars in Federal grants but you claim it is a fringe group,. Key among the secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.
"Chicano is our identity; it defines who we are as people. It rejects the notion that we...should assimilate into the Anglo-American melting pot...Aztlan was the legendary homeland of the Aztecas ... It became synonymous with the vast territories of the Southwest, brutally stolen from a Mexican people marginalized and betrayed by the hostile custodians of the Manifest Destiny." (Statement on University of Oregon MEChA Website, Jan. 3, 2006)

"Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlan. For La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada."

That closing two-sentence motto is chilling to everyone who values equal rights for all. It says: "For The Race everything. Outside The Race, nothing." You're inability to acknowledge this shows you either care nothing about facts or that you are as ignorant as you are obsessed with Daniel.

You also state: "why do you basically assign that person an entire laundry list of positions and opinions they may have never had in the first place?" My question is why do you attempt to lump every dissenter into the same group even trying to coin a new word, "Miglavian", in order to smear and marginalize them.

The racism horse is dead you can stop beating it now.

Give me the meds!

You say nobody gives a shit about La Raza. I'm sorry, but you are lacking in knowledge in that department. You are dead wrong. In fact Arizona passed and signed HB2281 which will ban La Raza studies. La Raza is a racist enemy organization which exists in this country. Actually I had never heard of newnation before you folks brought it up on Daniel's site. I think you are making a big deal about nothing.

When I refer to my service days I point out that whites are not the only racist people on the planet. These days it seems as if only white people can be racist. As far as my sergeant, he was the knuckle dragger. I think he dropped out of school from kindergarten. A brick had more brain cells than this idiot. He caused a group of US military to be tossed out of Yemen in 87 or 88 if I remember correctly. He was screwing around with a 14 yr old girl over there.

We had a lot of idiots left over from the Carter days in my unit. We also had a lot of sergeants come over from infantry and artillery. I was an electronic technician on the VULCAN. I was way smarter than any of my immediate superiors or peers. My black squad leader tried for a year to get me into trouble. I was kind wild in those days. He would write me counseling statements to get me into trouble. He couldn't write two words together that would make any sense.

I will trust you when you say you didn't write the n word in the first post. I do not call people whiney pussies for nothing. I call them that when they whine about name calling. Like the n and sp words. Calling somebody racist is losing its shock effect.

The illegals time is over. I think we are at the tipping point. People everywhere are tired of them. Almost 60% in Oregon agree with the Arizona law. Our current government will not fix the economic and job problems. The limited social services and school monies are running out and people want those resources for Americans, not some criminal alien.

Bobkatt, you said it with a lot more facts and eloquence.

Thanks Dave. I just wish we could have a decent discussion on the topic without all the vitriol. Some people claim that I am just afraid of the changes that unlimited immigration will bring. Damn straight, but it's not as though my fears are irrational. We have glaring examples of how these other cultures continue to mess up their own countries and when their numbers are sufficient here they demand that we accommodate their lifestyle.
