Lose money every sale, make up for it with volume

Ride the bus? Maybe not
With a shrinking budget, Lane Transit District is facing route cuts at its busiest time

Lane Transit District has proposed a plan to cut its total services by 15 percent, a move that could eliminate 13 routes, raise fares and affect thousands of University staff and students.

The cuts come at a time when more people are using LTD services than ever before, Eyster said. The LTD Board will vote on the proposed changes in November.

This is a perfect example of government running things. Offer up a service that is not paid for by the end user, run short of money, make life difficult for those people who chose to become dependent on government.

Depending on government for your transportation is a bad idea, depending on government for your health care could be fatal.

You need to understand the value of cash flow being greater than profit.

It worked for the .com folks.

Profit is a Bad thing. Just axe Obomba.

I think it is very interesting that LTD is thinking about cutting the Breeze buses instead of cutting back on their plans for the EmX.

Just think, eliminate one EmX bus which costs approximately just under one million dollars where that money could be used. In fact, eliminate one route (e.g. Construction for special bus lines) which can cost anywhere from $29,000,000 as in the Franklin boulevard route, and just think how much money could be applied towards the operating costs of the smaller buses.

And before you blast me, yes I know that there's Federal funding involved for the EmX project.
In either case, it's still taxpayer money.

Following this November's election, I have been assured that Democrats will move quickly to suspend the laws of supply and demand.

Once suspended, achieving the Vision will be much simpler. Free transportation, free energy, free health care.

Free, free, free! (Why does the Democrat party platform sound so much like those Saturday night mattress hucksters?)

Daniel, doesn't your wife WORK for the government? So then, the food on your table is paid for, in part, in a roundabout kind of way, by ... the government.

Interesting.

Swarm Theory announces its biggest target ever…DailyKos
Category: Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
Target acquisition: Acquired.
2 year timeline.
The Mitch & Sad Show’s sponsor.
DailyKos.
Swarm Theory anounces key points of acquisition.
The systematic dismantlement of its online presence.
The systematic disruption and destablizing of its annual conference.
It will achieve these goals by creating an environment in which the security costs of the annual conference will bankrupt the conference.
The vanity of Markos Moulitsas’ attempts to maintain said conference in the light of the extreme destablizing will result in the subsidizing of his vanity marketing event.
Swarm Theory will increase the cost to benefit ration of the main site resulting in crippling economic realities.
This is a two year sustained effort to demonstrate the newly burgeoning power of Swarm Theory.
What a fucked up crazy election & Scientology season.
Expect us.
Swarm Theory will radically alter the game play in the next two years.
Swarm Theory will create the most bizarre time in the history of American politics.
No one is safe.
No one is secure.
No one can defy Swarm Theory.
