Another "biggest ever" moment for Oregon

Oregon Marijuana Grow – Marijuana Growers in Wallowa County Arrested
Oregon state police and other states agencies recently found a marijuana plantation in Wallowa County, Oregon. The marijuana grow was found in a very remote part of the county. So far, it is believed to be the largest outdoor marijuana plantation ever found in the state.

The amount of land that the marijuana grow covered was unprecedented, and more than a mile of land was devoted to the plantation.

La Grande Police Sergeant, John Shaul expressed amazement at the amount of marijuana being grown, calling it “staggering.” Shaul stated in the press release, “Many people would be outraged at the damage to our public lands caused by illegal marijuana growers.”

As noted in the press release, the following people were arrested and taken into custody: Arturo Barrera, 26, Federico Carrasco, 24, Christian Gonzalez, 28, Fredy Montes, 32, Jesus Sanchez, 21 and Audel Soto, 29.

Since these fine gentleman haven't yet shown up on the inmate roster (NOTE: use Umatilla County list for Wallowa) we don't know for sure but I'm willing to go out on a limb here and say that at least some of them are here illegaly.

It's always exciting to see another "biggest" drug bust perpetrated by folks who shouldn't be here in the first place.

One Newspaper article did say that the have an I.C.E. Hold!

So we have biggest Drug Bust AND...

"Largest ID Fraud case in State History" per Illegal Aliens.

This is the Miguel Robleto Trial in Wash. CO. where which over 80,000 Illegals were Regsitered to Vote and got Licenses/Photo ID, that do not expire for 8 years.

And in the S/J today...letter from G-pa on why in the Hell is his son's Graduation at School in S-K in Spanish?

And on YouTube...Senator from TX. last week asking Illegal testifying in support of Sactuary Cities in TX., who has lived here for over 23 years, why the Hell he doesn't know any English.

Good News!! Open Border Democrats and their Mexican Mafia pals tried real hard, including big rallies and a block the halls of the Captiol in Salem stunt, too get In-State Tuition and Licenses for Illegals only.
NOT gonna happen here!
AND 6 more states now require Valid Photo Id to Vote!
AND US House Is passing Mandatory E-Verify for all companies nationwide!

And of course, the same people who want these illegal alien drug growers gone, are largely the same people who support the prohibitionist policies that - ironically - provided the employment opportunity for these illegal aliens.

People like Daniel always tell us, "If you get rid of employment opportunities for illegals, they won't come here to begin with."

And then people like Daniel turn right around and, via their support of marijuana prohibition, help support the $1 billion marijuana black market in Oregon that likely employees thousands of illegal aliens.

And yet, the Daniels of the world see no contradictions here.

The ignorance is staggering.

I agree. Long ago I resigned myself to the fact that I'm never going to hear Daniel or any other "Miglavian" give me a sensible answer to the question of why the government should spend tens of billions of dollars trying to keep people from smoking a joint. And I don't even smoke it myself! Yup, Miglavs wants the government out of people's lives so they can enjoy their "freedoms" ... unless you want to exercise the freedom of growing a harmless plant in your backyard and lighting up when you feel like it, which is nobody's business as far as I can see.

for a long time I have been asking why we turn out back to the illegals in this country and kissing Mexico's butt.

of course the answer is money and if this article is true, it might explain a few things..

Another "biggest ever" moment of Miglavian hypocrisy.

Anons:

Do you support ordinances which prohibit tobacco use in bars, public parks, or within 10 feet of any door or window?

Max, I'm "Anon 1:08".

I do not support banning cigarettes in bars. They are private establishments, and people can choose or not choose to patronize those places. And besides, it's a bar for Christ sake.

I DO support banning cigarette smoking in public. Why? Because I believe that "Your rights stop, where mine begin." Cigarette smoke is a known toxin. If you want to breathe in that toxin in the privacy of your own home, car, or any other private place that allows it...knock yourself out. But you have no right to force me to breathe it in. Yes, I believe that my right to breathe clean air, trumps your right to pollute that clean air with a known toxin.

As for 10 feet from a window? Well, if you're ten feet from a window, you're likely in public space. In that case, see the paragraph above. If that window is on private property, seems to me that it should be the decision of that private property owner.

But, you see, unlike both the far-right and the far-left, I actually maintain an intellectually consistent viewpoint on the issue, based on private and public rights.

It has been my experience that both right-wingers and left-wingers are more than happy to outright ban things that they don't personally agree with.

This is why conservatives want marijuana to be banned, even though such a position contradicts every conservative principle of personal freedom, free-market economics, and government not making criminals out of people who have not violated the rights of anyone else. Conservatives are perfectly ok with this arrangement because marijuana is SPOOKY!

Getting back on point, if you support marijuana prohibition in Oregon, then you are DIRECTLY saying that you also support the employment of thousands of illegal aliens in Oregon...just like the five who were arrested. There would be no huge black market for marijuana, and hence no such job opportunities for illegals, if it was legalized and regulated.

So yes, we can factually, logically say that Daniel Miglavs actively supports thousands of illegal alien jobs in Oregon.

Way to go Daniel! (Although, it does make this blog sort of bizarre.)

Dope should be a states rights issue. The war on drugs has cost hundreds of billions of dollars and we will never win it. Legalize the stuff and sell it in a liquor store.

Anon 108: You have a tendency toward over-generalization.

As well, please take note of Dave01's post, above.

I asked about tobacco use, not specifically cigarettes, primarily because as a rule, our friends on the left support total bans on the use of this legal substance. I agree with your position on bars, though I disagree with you in regard to large public spaces in open air, such as parks.
