Can our cultural competency managers teach this?

Mexican massacre investigator found dead
The body of an official investigating the massacre of 72 Central and South American migrants killed in a ranch in the northeastern Mexican state of Tamaulipas was found today dumped beside a nearby road alongside another unidentified victim, according to local media.

The migrants, 14 of them women, came from at least four countries, including Honduras, El Salvador, Brazil and Ecuador. They were found bound and blindfolded by the wall of a barn after navy personnel stormed the ranch on Tuesday.

"I told him not to go, but he went," said one of his seven brothers, Luis Alfredo. His 17-year-old pregnant wife Maria said she had received a call a few weeks ago from Guatemala, indicating all that was well.

Border security is essential to our national security. Part of this means that we take away the incentive to come here in the first place. Banks have security measures because there is a lot of money there. Your local 7-11 solves this by having less than $50 in the cash register.

If America can take away the jobs, the welfare, the Mexican independence day celebrations, the ability to drop anchor babies and our governments endless desire to pander to people who are not legal residents then we will have fewer border crossings.

Fewer crossings means a border that is easier to monitor and secure.

That's it!!! You unintentionally discovered the reason Obama and his merry men are destroying our country and bankrupting us all. His security plan is like 7/11's. We will all have less then $50 when he is finished.

The illegal aliens are not just going to just give up and "go home" even if the carrot is taken away from them as far as the availability of jobs.

However, as it is now okay to openly discuss this issue thanks to Arizona, more people have come out of the closet to express their anger about the lack of enforcement from our federal government over the illegal immigration issue.

Although thanks to the threat of new enforcement efforts, a small amount of the illegals are self- deporting, however, many who have already tasted life in America are not going to give up that easily, and I feel unfortunately, there will be a fight to keep it.

Then again, so will we to save it.

There's no reason you can't have a multi-pronged approach. I do find it suspicious that going after the rich and powerful enablers of illegal immigration never seems to get high priority. I also find it suspicious that during the 5 years the Republicans had complete control of the government they never got anything done on this issue either.

Like I keep asking Daniel, how come he never goes after big agribusiness and the US Chamber of Commerce?

About all they can agree on is an expensive fence that won't work but will be a lucrative construction contract.

In my opinion, the reason why Republicans or Democrats never got anything done on this issue is because it was politically incorrect even talk about it. If you noticed on both sides of the House they tried to avoid the issue altogether. However, after Arizona's SB1070 brought the issue of illegal immigration into the political forefront, and the politicians seeing how angry the public really is over this issue with over 65% supporting Arizona, is why NOW they are starting to pretend to be concerned about it. Otherwise, I feel that most of those people in office could care less. It's all about the vote.

And your comment regarding the fence, is right on the mark.

Corporations are controlled by the states. Arizona can do whatever they want to a corporation, including revoking the corporate charter. How come the gov't of Arizona isn't going after illegal employers?

As per your agenda you cherry pick certain aspects of the illegal battle and then lie about it. You seem to think that those of us against the illegal invasion support big business exploiting illegals but show no example. To the contrary, Daniel and others who post on this blog often rally against Rino Republicans such as Gordon Smith and his huge frozen food business and suggesting a boycott of Miller Beer and Wells Fargo Bank for their support of illegals. We also supported the crackdowns on a large machine company in Portland and poultry product producers such as Tyson Foods and Foster Farms. All the while people such as you snivel about breaking up families and causing anxiety in the "undocumented" population. We also came out at every proposal from George Bush and John McCain that encouraged open borders and amnesty. I guess you missed those posts. Amnesty didn't work in 1986 and it won't work now. Go home. Get in line. Fix your own country first.

By now you must have realized that most Americans see a tremendous disconnect between the government (right and left) and the people. We don't want an expensive fence that won't work and have no vested interest in a "lucrative construction contract". We want illegals removed from our schools, hospitals and country. We want the law upheld instead of flaunted with the likes of day labor centers, Consular services in every state and sanctuary cities. We want controlled, orderly and fair immigration that serves the need of our country in volume and diversity. How is it fair to have 80% of the immigration coming from one group?

Just what is your multi-pronged approach?
Allow more immigrants?-We already allow the most legal immigration in the world.
Make it easier to become citizens?-We need to vet these people and allow time for them to assimilate to our culture. We don't need more pockets of ____/ Americans. Fill in the blank.
Give amnesty to the ones already here (make them pay a fine also offered)?-Only serves to attract more illegals.

WTF? are you mixing me up with another anon? How can you tell anons apart? Or are you just randomly regurgitating (that's a big word that means throwing up) criticisms you use against lefties? I want illegals gone too. I just think it's suspicious you walk past 10 more effective things you could do so you can threaten the peasants. How brave.

"You seem to think that those of us against the illegal invasion support big business exploiting illegals but show no example."

Thought it was obvious. You know how to use google, don't play dumb.

Your rant is too long to bother quoting, but did you notice you limited your umbrage to 'safe targets' like politicians. When it comes to the corporations, it's all crickets.

"I guess you missed those posts." Oh yeah, the nation grinds to a halt because of some assholes posting on a blog. How could I miss those?

How about Daniel do something useful with his gun and shove it in Tom Donahue's face?

Oh wait, you think another blog post will be the one that bursts the dam open instead. That's what you call fighting back? Is your grand plan to show them by dying of old age?

What are you shouting into the wind? "I'm a useless old man and a wimp and I'm frightened of my own shadow?"

Please enlighten me as to these 10 more effective things. Even a couple would be appreciated.

You say we support big business that exploit illegals and I gave examples of how we are oppose that and you say "thought that was obvious". Show some examples from the public, not from politicians pandering or the government that is out of touch.

you limited your umbrage to 'safe targets' like politicians. When it comes to the corporations, it's all crickets.
Well I mentioned Miller Beer, Wells Fargo, Gordon Frozen Foods, Foster Farms and Tyson Foods, so again you cherry pick and lie.

I don't know why you have so much animosity toward Mr. Donohue but I have on numerous occasions on this blog and my own come out against the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and pointed out their misguided alliance with the Nafta Highway and Bush's allowing Mexican trucks to operate on our soil. I also have commented on how the major Union leaders have sold us out recommending amnesty.

If you sincerely want illegals gone too then please offer some suggestions. Calling me names and saying use google don't help much.

All their arguments look alike. Doesn't matter that I'm not a liberal, he doesn't like what I say, so that = liberal.

I think I'll hang out around Bobkittens blog more.

1. Smith and Wesson
2. Heckler and Koch
3. etc.

"Well I mentioned Miller Beer..."
how did that 'suggesting a boycott' work out?

"We also came out..."
Whatever that means. Was it effective?

"on this blog and my own come out"
Somehow I don't think this 'strongly worded opinion on the internet' is getting rid of any illegal immigrants.

"If you sincerely want illegals gone too then please offer some suggestions."

You. Should. Do. Something. Besides. Bitch. On. The. Internet. Daniel. Too.

Why don't you like the idea of a fence? The fence around the white house works quite well. The Israeli fence works quite well. Originally, we were supposed to get an Israeli style fence. The Palistineans shoot rockets now instead of sending suicide bombers into Israel. Fences work so well other countries are putting them up to keep out undesirables.

Anonymous said...

So, the fence isn't so good at stopping rockets.

The Great Wall of China worked--well no, it didn't.

A fence is just eyewash..to make it look they are doing something useful when they aren't. And it's expensive.

You know what's a lot cheaper? Arizona can start yanking the business licenses and corporate charters of companies that hire illegals.

You something else cheap? Businesses can check the SSN of every new hire with the SSA, a service it already provides. Funny enough, it seems a lot of businesses don't do that. It's almost like they don't want to know.

Russia did make fences work for a while, but it had lots of "negative consequences", shall we say.

How long is it going to take Daniel to get back from the teabagger rally? Is he riding a horse?

We need a comprehensive approach. A good fence is part of the solution. A fence is not eyewash. You might want to look at the facts of the Israeli fence, it works quite well. Since you ridicule the part about rockets, are you implying the mexicans will be shooting themselves over a fence with rockets. I think if they did that, they would be dead mexicans and we could just send the bodies back.

A fence will stop drug smugglers, human smugglers, terrorists, rapists, murderers, job thieves and others. You seem to think that is a bad thing.

In reality, a fence is very cheap. The cost a few years ago was $25 billion if I remember correctly. That was for ten years. That is about $2.5 billion per year. That makes the individual cost for each American about eight dollars per year. I'll pay the eight dollars for you. For only eight dollars a year I could stop hearing or reading about some criminal alien raping our children or getting drunk and killing our children in the media almost everyday.

I guess eight dollars a year is not worth it to save some American children. You are lower than scum.
