OFIR member Richard wrote an excellent OP-ED that ran in this weekends Fishwrapper and it has the CAUSA boys all in a huff.
They tirelessly insist "immigrants" don't commit crimes disproportionate to their native born counterparts.
But Richard's piece wasn't about "immigrants" at all. It was titled Illegal immigration and crime. Folks like Dinesh D'Souza are immigrants. People who come here from all over the world, legally, are immigrants.
The illegal aliens are criminals. 100% of them. You can call "meth" a "puppy" and insist that its possession isn't a crime but you just look like an idiot. Lumping illegal aliens in with immigrants adds insult to your idiocy.
You can pretend that an illegal alien is an "immigrant" if you want but immigrants don't sneak into the country, immigrants don't work illegaly, immigrants don't steal someone else's social security number for aformentioned illegal work and immigrants don't avoid taxes because they are working illegaly.
Remember the Fresh Del Monte raid? From the ICE press release:
The misuse of a person's Social Security number can result in the true owner of that number having benefits reduced, suspended, or terminated. Among the individuals whose Social Security numbers are being misused are:
7 persons who are 60 or above and are receiving disability benefits;
13 persons who are more than 70 years old;
18 juveniles;
29 deceased persons.

Stop the car lot loophole!
Now which one am I supporting again?
My fellow Americans, we all know the danger of vehicles. But what you may not know is that private transactions between two individuals is taking place OUTSIDE OF CAR LOTS. That's right, commerce with no oversight from government is happening IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD.
It's time to close the car lot loophole. These dangerous vehicles, which kill thousands of people every year, are being sold by their previous owners WHO ARE NOT OFFICIAL CAR DEALERS. And while some of you might not mind a used Prius being sold "for sporting purposes" the driveway next door may contain a dangerous "assault vehicle" with a for sale sign in the window.
I am immediatly proposing legislation that would ban all used car sales by private citizens within five miles of any car dealership.
And as for unregulated magazines like Auto Trader, it is clearly a public menace to have so many used assault vehicles advertised in one place.
Attached to the "you have no freedom bill" will be the following amendments:
Ban on private sale of five gallon buckets
Ban on private sale of household chemicals
Ban on private sale of bathtubs
Ban on private sale of plastic bags
Ban on private sale of small items that a baby could choke on including "assault marbles"

Vera will be so disapointed
Tre Arrow pleads guilty!!!
Perhaps you've heard that I'm set to take a plea bargain on June 3rd. In the aftermath of Briana Waters' and Eric McDavid's trials, I have weighed the options and decided that I don't want to take the risk of potentially being convicted and spending the rest of my life in prison.
I am in no way selling my soul just to receive a sweet deal from the prosecution. By this I mean I am not giving them any information about anyone or any thing which could lead to others being prosecuted.
I speak for the trees...
I'm sooo glad that he isn't going to inform on any of his eco-terror buddies... the hackysack game on waterfront will be able to continue. So much for a "fight the system" attitude. The Indyboys mascot has now sold out, admitted guilt (that's what a plea bargain is) and will be doing his time.
This picture of commerce and people using the land's resources for the betterment of society goes out to you Tre. I hope that you find an insect in your cell that you can adopt or something.

The State knows best
Department of Justice and Oregon School Boards Association File Anti-gun Briefs
Current events have made it clear that schools are one of the favorite targets of psychopaths, but the Oregon School Board Association and the DOJ have both asked the Court to ignore the very plain language of Oregon law and allow schools to declare their property open season for madmen.
Read the full OFF alert and if you are a gun owner in Oregon I suggest you support their organization.

I didn't vote for McCamnesty
How pathetic of a candidate do you have to be when you are the locked in nominee but still can't quite get 85% of the vote in Oregon in your parties primary?
And keep in mind that Operation Chaos probably drew many conservatives to the Libtard side to vote for Hillary, I assume they would have been Ron Paul votes as well.

At least he can count on this illegal alien...

Boo hoo
Going to bat
It troubles 17-year-old Mara Bauermeister that undocumented immigrant students enrolled in Rogue Valley schools who master English and earn good grades find out after graduation there are few options for higher education.
It also troubles me that illegal aliens can't go to college to get the jobs that they can't legally do.
South Medford students junior Liduvina Garcia, sophomore Elizabeth Garcia and sophomore Elizabeth Valazco told Bauermeister they wanted a way to fight discrimination on the campus and to portray a better image of Latino students.
They felt the public perception of Hispanic students had been further tarnished by a drive-by shooting Feb. 18 involving Latino gangs near the South Medford campus. No one was injured.
Perhaps with a little in-state tuition the gangbangers would stop shooting each other...
A year as an exchange student in Chile sparked Bauermeister's interest in immigration.
Her host family, who had been undocumented workers in the United States, recounted the struggles it faced.
"The family was worried to go to the police if something happened because they were worried about getting deported, and they couldn't get any medical benefits," Bauermeister recalled. "I was surprised that happens in the U.S."
I too am suprised that people who break our laws can't always seem to find taxpayer funded freebies... they must not have been living in Oregon.
Does anyone actually feel sorry for these people? You made your bed, now lie in it. I'm waiting for the sob story from the car thief who gets pulled over and cries to the media that since "their" car was taken they have no transportation to work. And then they can't feed their children. It's all about the children.

Obama camp spies endgame in Oregon
Barack Obama set his sights on November's general election Saturday as he campaigned in Oregon, where he hopes to declare victory in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Pitching his message to Oregon's environmentally-conscious voters, Obama called on the United States to "lead by example" on global warming...
"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," Obama said.
"That's not leadership. That's not going to happen," he added.
We can't eat as much as we want? Is Obama planning on nationalizing food distribution? He'll stay out of the bedroom... unless it's to regulate the temperature of it?
It's not about the planet, it's about growing goverment, controlling the population and making us more like third world countries.

Pro illegal group fears plot by OFIR on this blog
In what I can only describe as something that really really makes me laugh the illegal alien loving (yes, they kiss illegal aliens with open mouth) group CAUSA is upset because I put a tidbit of Rick's opinion on being a Republican PCP on my endorsements post.
It certainly appears that Mr. Hickey and OFIR leadership are plotting a take over of the Republican Party of Oregon (ORGOP).
Thank you CAUSA, I needed that laugh. I imagine their next post could also have scary news like "Republicans try takeover of country by... voting Republican."
I also notice that they screenshot my blog but don't link to the post. My money says they get more readers when I link to them than they do any other time.
[EDIT] Mwahahahaha, they added "Kind of laughable" at the end of their "plotting to take over the Republican party" paragraph... after I did this blog post. Too funny.
See what I get for violating my own "no guest columns" rule?

Daniel's primary endorsements
This is just me going down my ballot to indicate how my wife and I are voting. The sad state of the Oregon Republican party is so evident because I'm not actually voting for any Republicans, none of them excite me, I'm voting against their more liberal Republican counterparts.
President: Ron Paul - I'm not voting for McCamnesty.
Senator: Gordon Leitch - Able to speak for a long time about "gold coins" but I'm looking to vote against Smith for his amnesty vote. I mean hey, you can't wire gold coins to Mexico...
Congressional District 1: Claude Chappell - The other guy, Haugen, believes in global warming, amnesty (or as he calls it "family reunification") and a draft. Oh, and he endorses Obama.
Judge 20th district: Andy Erwin - I actually like this guy, he wants to punish criminals. Imagine that. But his "for" vote is nonpartisan.
I'm also voting YES on 51, 52, and 53.
Some of you in the Portland area probably have a blank spot for your Republican candidates. Way to go Vance. Maybe if you spent less time trying to sell us McCain you could field some decent candidates that would make conservatives proud to be Republicans.
And here is a "guest column" of sorts from VP of OFIR Rick:
(I edited for length)
PLEASE DON'T VOTE, until you read this.
As Vice-Pres. of OFIR I understand that the issue of illegal immigration is a non-partisan issue impacting all Americans and legal immigrants.
This notice concerns only registered Republicans and the current ballot just received.
Included in your election ballot is a form (yellow) to become a Precinct Committee Person or PCP. A PCP has the voting rights to influence what happens in the party. You can become a PCP by voting for yourself (write-in) and having just two others write you in on their form and mail it in with the ballot. These two others need to be registered in the Republican Party and in your precinct or the adjacent one(s). There are hundreds of slots open statewide, so your vote(s) to become a PCP should be approved.
Why bother? I understand why many of you are frustrated with John McCain and the Republican Party leadership decision to ignore or pander on this issue of illegal immigration.
If the majority of Americans really wanted amnesty, legislation would have easily passed the 1st or the 2nd time around. It hasn't and is not going to this year either.
Attrition thru enforcement does work and is the most humane, efficient and compassionate solution, not rewarding bad behavior. The 1986 amnesty and the results of it 22 years later should be enough proof.Attrition is a result of respecting the rule of law, a Republican Party by-law.
Did you know this important news? The Oregon Republican Party wrote and passed a resolution supporting the Respect for Law Act, twice. This is our only opportunity at enforcing immigration laws here in Oregon for now. We should let the entire state know that republicans do support the rule of law and therefore motivate the larger majority of voters that agree with this. Party leaders should not be afraid to support the 9 out of 10 employers that are not violating laws. Instead voter registrations and donations prove we have lost a majority support position and will continue to do so if we pander to corrupt employers only.
Please consider becoming a PCP now, while you have that ballot handy. If we cannot get help from the leadership here for now, as a PCP you can change that.

A true parody
Oppressed, Disenfranchised Coyotes Fight Back Against Global Warming Apes
Communities east of Los Angeles have seen a spate of “attacks” by coyotes against children playing menacingly in local parks and yards. Although scientists are said to be puzzled by the attacks, one thing is for sure: the incidents are somehow man’s fault.
“This is the coyote’s land. Man has pushed his developments into their backyard, leaving the coyotes with no choice but to find a new food source: human toddlers,” said Bill Grantdabbler, an entirely made-up, but still quite plausible, biologist interviewed for this fake story.
“Before the white man stole their natural resources and pitted them against other animals in a colonialist scheme to control nature, coyotes were matriarchical pacifists living ‘off the grid’ in sustainable vegan ecovillages,” he added. “We changed that. The chickens have now come home to roost.”
I'm almost positive that Mac Johnson is the funniest man in America. Read his full column and reflect on the fact that his obvious parody doesn't actually deviate from what the eco-nuts really believe.

Our founders were wise indeed
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
Wait what? I'm kind of busy paying extra taxes for multicultural managers, illegal alien benefits, and clean needles for junkies. Also busy being told how to raise my children, what to do with my property, how many gallons of water my toilet can use and how much "trans fat" my food can have.

The Portland culture
This is the Portland "homeless meeting" outside city hall. You would think they could focus some of this energy on being more self-sufficient...
2 Thessalonians
verses 6 -9
Our orders—backed up by the Master, Jesus—are to refuse to have anything to do with those among you who are lazy and refuse to work the way we taught you. Don't permit them to freeload on the rest. We showed you how to pull your weight when we were with you, so get on with it. We didn't sit around on our hands expecting others to take care of us. In fact, we worked our fingers to the bone, up half the night moonlighting so you wouldn't be burdened with taking care of us. And it wasn't because we didn't have a right to your support; we did. We simply wanted to provide an example of diligence, hoping it would prove contagious.

McCain to pitch climate-change plan in Oregon
John McCain heads to the Pacific Northwest today to propose a climate-change plan, addressing an issue integral to his presidential bid in a region that could be crucial.
The Arizona senator, who often cites climate change as a policy difference with President Bush, plans to renew support for a "cap-and-trade" system that "sets clear limits on all greenhouse gases, while also allowing the sale of rights to excess emissions," according to excerpts of his speech released Sunday.
"The facts of global warming demand our urgent attention, especially in Washington," McCain says in the prepared remarks.
This is not about the climate, this is about control. Once this is successfuly implemented for industry theses nutjobs will move it to the individual. Your household will have a carbon limit.
Your thermostat, your dryer, your vehicles, your food, your recreation, will all be subject to governments oversight.
Get ready for cold showers, hanging your laundry, hot summers, cold winters and add an extra 180% to your commute time because you are going to be taking the bus.
And Dear McCain: What "facts" are you talking about? Can you cite something specific? Change in ocean temperature? Global warming movies that haven't been proven full of outright lies?

Needs a caption
The caption from the website this came from: AM coffee community
But you'll never guess at first glance where this is. It's Dignity Village. These are the homeless. Enjoying a late morning coffee. The rest of us drink our coffee on the way to work or at work. The homeless get to savor theirs a little bit more.
The new Dignity Village website is just great. Homelessness in 2008 is high tech. I bet they have wi-fi.

This is good PR
This is what CAUSA is offering up to demonstrate to Americans that we should grant amnesty to hordes of invading criminals:
To be fair, he may not be rapping about raping your daughter or selling meth from the apartment next to yours, it may be just about using your SSN to work illegaly.
Thank you CAUSA, your spanish language raps are very convincing. Perhaps you could distribute DVD's at a local church or civic group?

The Mexicans demand
It's fitting that on Cinco De Mayo, which translated means "the day of Corona sales," I got the DVD with pictures from the Salem May Day rally put on by the illegal alien supporters. Hat Tip Kirk for the photos.
I know you good liberals hate it when folks "drape themselves in the flag" so I guess there is an exception for flags that depict a chicken and worm fighting...
PCUN provides kids for "security" purposes. They mostly tell their subjects not to talk to OFIR folks. If you click to enlarge that photo you will see the sign back there says "thank an illegal alien for your" and the bottom part can't be seen. I'm pretty sure it says "meth" or "your daughter being raped."
And you can't have a rally that supports criminals without using kids as political props.
And don't let the Rio Grande hit you on your way out.
Kids can skip class and spend the day waving the Chicken and Worm banner?
"I need to drive to work"? You aren't allowed to work! That's just another law you are breaking. I can only hope that while you are breaking the law working you are using the SSN of Ramon Ramirez.
Really Ramon, since you love criminal aliens so much I hope you share your SSN freely with them so they can work illegaly. You can sort out the tax implications in April. Since I know so many of you illegals read my blog and are in need of an SSN please feel free to email Ramon and politely ask him: ramonramirez@pcun.org

Big government at work
Blumenauer: Gas tax holiday ain't happening
Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., are both flogging the idea on the campaign trail, saying they want to provide some relief to hard-press consumers by removing the 18.4-cent federal gas tax over the summer driving season.
"The good news is it won't happen," [Earl Blumenauer] told me over the phone today. "I think it's a non-starter in terms of it being enacted."
The big hangup in Congress is that no one wants to give up the $3 billion a month the gas tax brings into the highway trust fund, he said. The fund is already going into the red, he said, and members are besieged with demands for more projects than they can approve already.
So it's a situation of "we'd like to lower taxes but we don't want to give up the money..." Lowering taxes is the one way that I actually would like to see government get involved with the price of gas. Alas, we will keep paying that extra 18 cents a gallon because somewhere there is a bike path or trolley that needs to be built.

Story from KATU
Immigration protest draws 2,500 to Salem
Carrying signs reading "Driving is a right, not a crime," a mostly Hispanic crowd of about 2,500 on Thursday protested a new driver's license law they say punishes immigrants and they also called for major changes in federal immigration and workplace laws.
Speakers demanded rollback of a decree codified by the Legislature in February - Senate Bill 1080 - that requires applicants for driver's licenses to prove legal residence in the country.

Publicity for this issue helps us
The illegal aliens and their supporters will be marching in Salem today. Thank you. Putting this issue back on the front page will only help our cause. Imagine how many more signatures we will collect for the Respect For Law Act ballot initiative because of this.
Now I want you to listen to me very carefully illegal boys and girls, I know that the PCUN/CAUSA/VOZ boys have given you your marching orders: no Mexican flags, no signs indicating that you hate whitey, stop being so offensive in general. I know that. But I know that goes against your every instinct. After all, you have no respect for this country. And why shouldn't you be demanding? You break our laws and we respond by paying for your healthcare!
So please my illegal amigos, don't let the Union boys bully you into being so respectful in front of the news cameras. Say what you really want to say. Tell the American people that you want to "take back" part of the United States for Mexico. You know you want to.
CAUSA, the group that can't even bring itself to use the word "illegal", has a picture from last May Day. Keep in mind that they are very PR savvy and don't want to offend. That means their official May Day picture has got to be the best one they have and it still has several Mexican flags and a sign that says "Real ID, NO" in it. (if the sign was carried with the affirmative message it would say "Fake ID, YES")
