Now which one am I supporting again?
My fellow Americans, we all know the danger of vehicles. But what you may not know is that private transactions between two individuals is taking place OUTSIDE OF CAR LOTS. That's right, commerce with no oversight from government is happening IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD.
It's time to close the car lot loophole. These dangerous vehicles, which kill thousands of people every year, are being sold by their previous owners WHO ARE NOT OFFICIAL CAR DEALERS. And while some of you might not mind a used Prius being sold "for sporting purposes" the driveway next door may contain a dangerous "assault vehicle" with a for sale sign in the window.
I am immediatly proposing legislation that would ban all used car sales by private citizens within five miles of any car dealership.
And as for unregulated magazines like Auto Trader, it is clearly a public menace to have so many used assault vehicles advertised in one place.
Attached to the "you have no freedom bill" will be the following amendments:
Ban on private sale of five gallon buckets
Ban on private sale of household chemicals
Ban on private sale of bathtubs
Ban on private sale of plastic bags
Ban on private sale of small items that a baby could choke on including "assault marbles"
