The good anarchists protested the ICE detention center in Tacoma. Here is one account from a kook liberal:
1:00: The police have barricaded the Wells Fargo building and a disaster response team is present at the detention center. They are terrified of our collective voice.

2:00: The march has reached downtown, but will not be traveling to the detention center. It is currently on it's way back to Peoples Park. Riot police have assembled outside the Wells Fargo building. One marcher has been struck with a bike by a police officer. They are using force to coral the march onto the sidewalk.
Police are using force to make people follow the law and not obstruct traffic? Where is the ACLU?
2:56: A second arrest has been confirmed. The cause and identity are unknown but the arrestee is reported to be a high school student. The police are using "body slam" arrest techniques. One woman has apparently been slammed to the ground and drug by the hair apparently for playing a drum. The police are singling out individuals for arrest seemingly without cause. The arrests are reportedly unprovoked.
Words like "apparently" and "reportedly" mean "lies told by anarchists who are high on marijuana."

My favorite comment is "this is what a police state looks like" as they protestors are hurling obscenities at law enforcement and able to put video of their masked friends arrest on YouTube. If only the good liberals actually knew what it was like to live in a police state like the ones they admire in Venezuela, Cuba, etc.

Mr. Miglavs: It would be helpful for the "discussion" that follows your posts (which, of course, you rarely participate in yourself)if you could find time to achieve some understanding of basic political terms that any high school student who pays attention in history class would understand.
Like: "Liberal" and "anarchist." Equating the two is like saying that "Christian" and "Wiccan" are synonomous. Since they are utterly different, and since there is no liberal anywhere who would identify himself as an "anarchist," and no anarchist anywhere who would identify himself as a "liberal," then I'm curious to know why you insist that they are the same. Do you have a dictionary? Ever use it? Never mind, I'll spare you the time. Let's consult the good ol' American Heritage:
ANARCHISM: The theory or doctrine that all forms of government are oppressive and undesirable and should be abolished.
LIBERALISM: A political theory founded on the natural goodness of humans and the autonomy of the individual and favoring civil and political liberties, government by law with the consent of the governed, and protection from arbitrary authority.
Hmm ... one is opposed to all forms of government, and the other favors government.

by the same token, Americans who are for enforcement of immigration laws and a strong border, are not KKK Members , Nazis, Racists, or "haters" as the other side so liberally pronounces.
The kids protesting are most likely upper-middle class kids who will end up in lake oswego hiring illegal aliens and driving gold Lexus SUVS.
Anon 938: No one here thinks that ALL people involved in working towards solving the illegal immigration issue are racists. That's bunk. However, a very significant amount of people injecting themselves into the immigration debate ARE racists, neo-Nazi's and KKK'rs. There are a multitude of blogs out there to prove it.
