Governor Encourages State Contracting with Minority and Women Owned Businesses
Governor Kulongoski today announced he sent a letter to state agencies accompanying Executive Order 08-16, directing agencies to adopt aspirational targets to increase opportunities for minority and women owned businesses that are competing for state contracts. The executive order identifies agencies that have contracting needs that are a good match with existing certified minority and women owned businesses.
The executive order also creates a new Promoting Diversity Certificate of Excellence program to recognize outstanding efforts by agencies to include minority and women owned businesses in their contracting efforts.
A normal person who looks at this would have to conclude that Kulongoski thinks minority and women owned businesses are inferior. Either that or he just has a racial and gender preference.

No more than the racial and/or gender preferences that were at play when Miglavs' servant/wife secured her position at the Oregon State payroll teat. But you don't see him complaining about that....
Personally I prefer a level playing field except for former gangbangers like Mr. Milglavs...
Aww, poor baby. Maybe Governor K. can contract with the Bigot Minority in Oregon to do some jobs. Seems slimballs like Tom Wenning could contract with the Governor to wash the floors in the capitol and other state offices. Wenning needs a job, or to be put in jail. Sitting around the streets on some permenant protest begging for money is sad. Even PETA people have day jobs. The anti-immigrant crowd always complains about Mexicans and apparently "minorities: stealing jobs, but they never go apply to the thousands that go empty. I say once Obama is elected we put all OFIR members on work crews to rebuild the nation. Kind-a-like a New NEW Deal.

get your DNA tested. If you have one strand of ethnic in you , which most likely we all do,then use that to apply for minority preference.
