The boys over at CAUSA are very worried that their democrat buddies might actually care about America and American workers:
Pressure is mounting in the Democratic-led House of Representatives to act on the SAVE Act (HR 4088), an enforcement and deportation-only bill introduced and sponsored by more than 140 Democratic and Republican opponents of humane immigration reform.
Humane immigration reform = amnesty
I'd like to know where Walden and DeFazio stand on this one. I write off the other losers from the Oregon delegation.

Osamabama?
In the interest of further distancing myself from the RNC let me just say this...
Barak HUSSEIN Obama
Barak HUSSEIN Obama
Barak HUSSEIN Obama
Barak HUSSEIN Obama
Really guys, I look forward to more "help the Republican" phone calls and those fundraising letters, I mean "surveys," where my "opinion really counts." Keep sending me those.
Based on the RNC position of amnesty support I would assume that if I gave them any money it would go to Ted Kennedy if not for his little misspeak.

Radical Workshops in Eugene, OR at the Lane Community College Campus
Join Lane Community College Students for a Democratic Society, the Civil Liberties Defense Center, and the LCC Peace Commission in a series of workshops at our college.
Lane Community College
4000 East 30th Ave
Eugene, OR 97405
“Battle for the Port”
This interactive workshop focuses on the diverse and effective acts of resistance at the Ports of Tacoma and Olympia.
Legacy of Torture: The War Against the Black Liberation Movement
Eight Former Black Panthers were arrested on January 23rd, 2007 in California, New York, and Florida on charges related to the 1971 killing of a San Francisco police officer.
The struggle to gain these men's freedom is growing but it will require much more public support. In a manner similar to the campaign waged in 1971-1972 to free Angela Davis and the ongoing campaign to free Mumia Abu Jamal, this campaign must become widespread and international.
More higher education like this is clearly needed.

Tues night humor
You might be a liberal if...
You think the best way to care about a disease is to wear a ribbon.
You want to outlaw cigarrettes and legalize marijuana.
You think AIDS is spread by insufficient funding.
You think that if someone is getting richer, someone, somewhere, must be getting poorer.
You believe that there was never, ever a problem with biased news coverage until Fox News went on the air.
You think that consenting adults can engage freely in every activity except capitalism.
You reach the limits of your talent and then complain that you ran into a glass ceiling.
Feel free to add your own and some "you might be a conservative" ones from those of you who froth at the mouth when you read my blog.

Gosh I hope they were driving safe
Traffic stop heads off Redmond meth delivery
Two men allegedly delivering a quarter-pound of methamphetamine worth almost $12,000 to Redmond were arrested on the north side of town by drug agents who'd been watching for their car, officials said Monday. The pair remained in the Deschutes County jail, being held for federal immigration officials.
Armando Diaz Diaz, 35, of Metolius, and Jose Castor, 31, of the Madras area, were stopped around 6 p.m.
"Of the Madras area" huh. That's some crack reporting guys. We can only hope that these two got to the DMV before the deadline prevented them from getting their drivers licenses so that, as CAUSA would put it, "the safety of Oregonians" was first and foremost.

Oregon hunter education now available online
The classroom portion of Oregon’s hunter education course is now available online at http://www.hunter-ed.com/or/
“We are very excited to be offering online hunter education,” said Chris Willard, ODFW hunter education coordinator. “This will make hunter education much more accessible for those whose schedules make attending a conventional classroom course difficult.”
It seems that ODFW is becoming more responsive to it's customers. It was just this last season that they allowed us to take the Goose ID test online and now we have this. (I still recommend the "mentored youth program" for kids under 14 since it doesn't involve the state other than registration) The DMV should take note and start accepting debit cards, it's 2008.

Grand Theft Auto... Lite?
There is a new computer game out... ICED. (acronym: I can end deportation)
"As an immigrant teen you are avoiding ICE officers..."
While I have not had a chance to download and play it yet the website alone is priceless. The police sirens noises in the background really add to the ambience. The game purports to be about "human rights" but people who have to avoid law enforcement as an objective are clearly doing something wrong.
Can we now assume democrat politicians will blame illegal immigration on video games?

Ususal suspects blamed
I heard the Illinois governor blame the usual suspects for the "gun free zone" shooting last week: video games and our "gun laws." (I think by "gun laws" he means "the bill of rights")
Millions of people play video games but no pattern exists to show they become phsychos. Gun free zone after gun free zone gets shot up but people can't take the hint.
Places not attacked recently:
NRA conventions
The SHOT show
Gun shows
Police precints

Sellouts to the man
I'm stunned. The Indymedia boys, who are such progressive free thinkers, have adopted a conformist dress code:
For many of us wishing to support Briana in her trial, what we think of as "appropriate dress" for court is going to be a bit different than what her jury will think of as normal.
Are you sure? Having enough metal in your face to construct a fighter jet isn't normal?
IT IS ESSENTIAL, that if you want to support Briana, to show up in the most mainstream type of clothes you can find. Do NOT wear black. No Patches. Piercings other than earrings should be taken out. Guys: If your scruffy, now is a great time to shave...
What's next Indy boys? Are you going to put on a tie and go work for Big Oil? How dare you stifle your members creative dress you facist pigs.
It sure is nice that groups I belong to never have to send out notices saying "don't be yourself when appearing in public."

OFF vs OFIR
While I distrust government as the next bunker-having gun nut (that's a term of affection by the way) I don't understand the Oregon Firearms Federation opposing proof of legal residency to get a drivers license.
A) You have to provide proof of legal residency to get a job; you have to have a job to buy firearms
B) Speaking of buying firearms, unless you buy private you also have to provide proof of legal residency
C) The number of people who choose not to have a SSN is so miniscule that I do not believe that it is a valid argument
D) You have always had to identify yourself to the state to get a drivers license, the extra step actually verifying that you are who you say you are does not constitute a "national ID" (something I oppose)
E) This requirement exists, in patchwork, in most states in America. This has not led to a "national ID"

Conventional wisdom
Almost nothing makes sense coming from folks who are in favor of illegal aliens. Republicans insist that these criminals are the new conservative constiuency. (I guess "willingness to break laws" will be replacing "personal responsibility" as a plank in the Republican platform) But every group that "represents" these folks are openly partisan left.
Over at CAUSA they even put all the D's in bold typeface while the R's are relegated to the bottom of the list.
Then the liberal proponents of illegal aliens insist that Respect for Law folks are racist bigots who kill puppies when not oppressing minorities. These are the same CAUSA folks who say that restricting drivers licenses to legal residents affects the "Latino community."
Being Latino doesn't mean that you aren't an American or a legal resident. Why would you lump in a racial demographic with criminal aliens like that? CAUSA also plans to "launch the largest Latino voter registration campaign in the history of Oregon." They must be passing them out by the drinking fountain that I'm not allowed to use.

Go team
Rah rah rah. Go R's!! Did anyone else want to vomit during McCain's speech at CPAC?
I don't see Hillary trying to take my handguns her first term, she wants a second. I'm willing to let things get worse before they get better.

My to do list
Based on last night's election results there are two things I am now going to do: find out who the Consitution Party candidate is so I know which bubble to fill in and stop paying my mortgage because Hillary is going to take care of it.

I'm detecting a pattern here...
I wish an illegal alien had been doing my job today so that I could have been in Salem for the rally in support of the Respect for Law Act.
On December 17th, OFIR reserved the Capitol steps for our demonstration. The rules governing usage of the Capitol steps state that only one organization can use the steps in an organized demonstration. Obviously the illegal aliens and their supporters do not believe that rules apply to them.
Illegal aliens not concered with following the rules? Will wonders never cease. If anyone had photos/videos of todays event feel free to send them to me and I will post them with full credit to you.
UPDATE: KVAL has the story and accompanying video

The forgotten files
Going through some old pictures/videos I ran across one that I had not uploaded to YouTube. I'm not positive but I think this man might be on John McCain's staff now...
