Vote early and vote often (if you are a man)

It's time for liberals to go into fits of self-righteousness and indignation once again, Ann Coulter has a new book out. Immediately the outraged crowd has seized upon the "If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president" quote to harp about.

This is one instance where I actually find myself disagreeing with Coulter. I mean sure, at one time I too thought that the whole "women voting" thing was a big mistake but I've come to learn that we never gave women the right to vote, we gave husbands the right to vote twice!

Oh that's right, the anorexic skank slut has a new Republican Party Manual. I heard her on Baldy Leavens Show.

On a side not, did you hear the story about Bill "Leprecon" O'Reilly and Ann Coulter getting it on in Bill's studio bathroom. On a D.C. blog, a staffer wrote the intimate details that were circulating around. I wonder if a loofah was involved?

I'll bet if you took a poll (and I'm sure that someone, somewhere has) you'd find that at least 70% or mor of the female voting population in the U.S. are registered as Democrat.

By the way, my wife is even more conservative than I am on some issues. If it were up to her, we'd have bombed Iran months ago to stop their Nuclear Process dead in it's tracks.

    Healthy illegals
    Vote NO on Measure 50

In case you needed a reason (besides patent stupidity) to vote against amending Oregon's constitution to include a tax on a specific product to give government money so our overseers can "provide" health care to children...

Keep in mind that (as I have previously reported) the "Healthy Kids Program" is really the "Healthy Illegals Program."

In the initial report to Governor Kulongoski the recommendation was: "“All is all” –all kids, with immigration status irrelevant" (search terms highlighted for your conveniance)

So pretend for a second that you believe government should (with all the efficiency and customer friendly attitude of the DMV) administer health care, please keep in mind that Measure 50 will serve as one more magnet for illegal aliens to come to our state.

It is not healthy for kids to be surrounded by criminals.

    Joy of technology
I'm boycotting any restraunt that has "automatic paper towel dispensors." It was bad enough when we got the blow dryers that don't really dry your hands but now we have to stand their waving our hands (looking like an idiot) in front of a machine in hope that it will have mercy on us and give us a small square of paper towel. This isn't progress.

Protect yourself from ID theft and use these state forms!
Sign the "Statement of I'm here illegaly form!"

After finding out that DHS doesn't do complete background checks (or ignores the results) when placing children in foster care I'm very comforted that the State of Oregon Employement Department - Child Care Division allows potential childcare providers to sign a Statement of no Social Security Number form. (English version provided here, Spanish version is also available)

Of course we all know that Teddy Kulongoski and Lorna Youngs get all warm and fuzzy every time they use our tax dollars to print out a batch of the DMV version of the Statement of No Social Security Number.

And in yet another ringing endorsement of government being in control of all health care it's nice to see that the Oregon State Board of Nursing also allows applicants to sign a Statement of No Social Security Number form.

Susan "let's use the curriculum of third world countries" Castillo is also a fan. State Schools Superintendent Susan Castillo announced today the policy for free and reduced price meals for students... (by "free" she means "expensive, but you all pay for it") Children in eligible households may receive meal benefits regardless of immigration status.

What do you need to get the "expensive, but you all pay for it" lunches? You guessed it:

The names of all household members, the amount and source of income received by each household member in the prior month, the signature of an adult household member and the social security number of the adult household member who signs the application (or a statement that the person has no social security number).

So criminals can take care of your children, be your nurse, get a drivers license and "expensive, but you all pay for it" meals all by signing a state form that indicates they are criminals.

This must be why Bill Bradbury says that asking people to prove citizenship to register to vote is a "solution in search of a problem." Clearly the problem could be solved with yet another "Statement of I'm here illegaly" form.

If you don't qualify for "art therapist" you can always try this one
    Recreation Leader (Pottery)
    Portland Parks and Recreation
Approximate Hourly Salary: $12.73 at entry - $18.37 after three years
(that 23% pay raise each year sounds about average for government work these days)

The Recreation Leader with a Pottery specialty is responsible for assisting, conducting, and administering pottery classes and programs; assisting in the recruitment, selection, and training of part-time pottery instructors; supervising volunteers and seasonal/casual staff.

One of these days I'm going to apply for one of these crackpot positions just so I can report on the interview process. Here's how I imagine it going:

Interviewer: So what makes you qualified for this position?

    Me: No blood for oil!

    Interviewer: You're hired.

In all fairness to my illegal alien readers who can't make a bong out of clay but can read the Spanish version of "Heather has two mommies" I will post this exciting opportunity for you with Multnomah County:

BILINGUAL SPANISH RAISING A READER LIBRARIAN
    Salary: $22.34 - $27.49 hourly

The Multnomah County Library in Portland, Oregon is seeking applicants for a part-time (20 hours per week), grant-funded Bilingual Spanish Raising A Reader Librarian position.

The purpose of this position is to reach more Spanish-speaking families through the Raising A Reader Bookbag Program.

You can call it "grant funded" all you want but they still list the Cadillac benefits package for this position and duties such as "ordering of Spanish-language materials" are probably not included in the grant. I also don't see this person getting fired after the grant money runs out.

    What bureaucracy?
Kulongoski gives hefty raise to state directors
Gov. Ted Kulongoski is giving out pay raises to state agency directors that are at least three times what rank and file state workers will get.

About 60 department heads will get pay raises of 21 to 24 percent over the next two years, Kulongoski told top agency brass on Monday. Nearly 4,800 state managers will see their salaries rise a smaller 11 to 16 percent.

    That's a nice raise.

There are currently 421 State Job Announcements Posted

61 are under the category MANAGEMENT, ADMINISTRATIVE, and SUPERVISORY. This category is topped only by the Office girls, sorry "office specialists," which has 66. (Does each specialist need her own manager? That is special.

And for those of you paying attention, especially you "let's increase taxes for healthy kids" folks, they are still hiring for Music, Art or Recreational Therapist. $2,903 - $4,229 MONTHLY

To really put things in perspective so you realize how top heavy government is the DHS folks (I think that DHS is a Spanish acronym meaning "free stuff") have only 36 openings.

    These people are nuts

City Councilor Stewart Wershow, Ward 6

Email thread between two Corvallis City Councilors
    Mike,
I have read about sanctuary cities. Did you want to ask the council if we wanted to become one? If yes, we might want to put it on the agenda for the next work session in June. Or, we could ask a group like NAACP to make a proposal. What do you want to do?
    Stewart

This is a city councilor casually asking if Corvallis could become a haven for criminals. He doesn't even seem to be completely aware of what he is talking about, just that this is the new liberal fad.

City Councilor Mike Beilstein, Ward 5
    Hello Stewart-
I don't intend to make any proposal to the city council. What I would like to do is to have a public forum on the issue, with input from CPD about current policy on immigration issues...
...The target audience would be both the hispanic community and the "civil rights" advocacy community, in addition to policy makers like city council. We might eventually want to be a "sanctuary city," but there are probably other less radical steps we could take.
When folks who make public policy can openly discuss helping criminals I think that we have a problem in this country. Let's throw these bums out.

Daniel is right about the husband thing.

Statistically, SINGLE women are FAR more likely to vote democrat than MARRIED women.

But I don't think it is because husbands tell wives how to vote. I think it is because a woman who is morally and spiritually willing to accept marriage as the proper way to bond with another is probably also mentally willing to invest some thought into right and wrong, and therefore will be more likely to choose the right candidate.

More and more women are moving to the conservative side, particularly moms.

I don't have any problem with men and women both voting.

What I have a problem with is government doing whatever they want in the face of losing a vote, and Oregon governments are well known for pulling this shit all day long.
