David Hardy at Of Arms and the Law notes that the NRA will file suit.

Neal Boortz writes that the measure requires San Francisco residents to turn in their guns on April 1:

require that every resident of San Francisco who owns a handgun to turn it in to the government by April 1st. April 1st, by the way, is more commonly known as "April Fool's Day." Even voters in San Francisco should be bright enough to figure out that law-abiding citizens will be the ones to turn over their guns, while the lawless, the criminal element, will not. The number of guns in the hands of law abiding citizens will go down. The number of guns in the hands of criminals will not.
It is particularly amazing that 58% of the San Francisco voters would support this foolish measure after New Orleans. San Francisco faces the prospect of a natural disaster far worse than Katrina. Do the people of San Francisco think that the criminal element will just stay home and behave after the earthquake hits? There will be no violence? No looting? After the experience of the victims of the lawless in New Orleans it is hard to believe that any logical group of Americans would voluntarily disarm. But ... I did say logical, didn't I?

Alphecca's Jeff Soyer looks at some of the fine folks celebrating the handgun ban.

Do you feel safer now, San Fran?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11266150.post-1131584589317604692005-11-09T17:03:00.000-08:002005-11-09T17:03:00.000-08:00A driver's license isn't worth very much these day...A driver's license isn't worth very much these days.Danielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14946233454014389006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11266150.post-1131557923666088242005-11-09T09:38:00.000-08:002005-11-09T09:38:00.000-08:00My favorite line is;Sufficient identification incl...My favorite line is;

Sufficient identification includes a copy of a current and VALID photo identification, such as a driver's license....STOP THERE!

A valid driver's license---WOW, Billy Boy Bradbury must have been pimping for this guy>

80,000 DRIVER'S LICENSES TO KNOWN ILLEGAL ALIENS
COURTESY OF: Mr. Miguel Robleto

Please see: http://victoriataftkpam.blogspot.com/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11266150.post-1131556408137437172005-11-09T09:13:00.000-08:002005-11-09T09:13:00.000-08:00Please vote today and vote OFTEN.Please vote today and vote OFTEN.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
