Made a bad choice? Erase it in the morning!

Oregon Bill to Sell Morning After Pill Over the Counter Under Passes
Legislation that would make Oregon one of just seven states nationwide to allow sales of the so-called morning after pill over the counter received approval from the Oregon state Senate Tuesday. The measure comes at a time when the FDA is considering allowing women over 16 to purchase the drugs without a doctor's visit.

You know what works better than a "morning after" pill? Don't do something stupid the night before!

Yes, people will do stupid stuff... then you take full responsibility for it instead of killing a life because it might "invonveniance" you.

Dude, there ain't no fetus within 72 hours after having sex. At most its in the very, very early stages. What about in cases of rape? I know people who have taken this pill and its becuase they got drunk, etc. and had sex. Then they wanted to make sure they didn't get pregnant..

JWalker, I enjoy your comments so much!

Anonymous, "dude" you ain't speaking english so good. It makes it hard to believe that you are a scientist capable of discerning when life begins.

You make my argument for me that this pill enables selfish people who got drunk "etc" and then want to erase their choices. Time to grow up and take some personal responsibility!

The "morning after pill" or Plan B is designed to make the uterus inhospitable for an egg. That is, it will not attach itself to the uterine wall. This includes eggs that have been joined with a sperm to create new life. Since I believe that life starts at the moment the egg and sperm join I don't like the idea of a pill that causes that life to be terminated.
